Note that the Bulls were already in the Eastern conference Finals by the time Phil Jackson took over as head coach. A lot of young fans don't even know that.
BIG ROE, YES M.J. HAD A MAJOR IMPACT ON THE GAME GLOBALLY! IT TOOK ME 1 INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT ✈️ & 1 DOMESTIC FLIGHT FROM ATLANTA TO CHICAGO TO BE IN ATTENDANCE TO M.J.’S 1ST RETIREMENT & ON THE BUS TO THE UNITED CENTER OLD EXCITED ELDERLY LADIES HAD CAUGHT TRAINS 🚂 & BUSES 🚌 TO COME SEE HIM RETIRE!
MJ is not only the best and greatest NBA player of all time, but he's arguably the greatest Pop-icon too. I mean seriously! It was crazy in the 80's and more so in the 90's where there was seemingly MJ's image and likeness on everywhere you went lol! TV shows, commercials, ads, billboards, movies, music videos, no cap. Keep in mind this ALL stemmed from his greatness on the court, smh! It was 3 Pop-icons in the 90's all named Mike, Micheal Jackson, Micheal Jordan, Mike Tyson. Crazy times to witness bro, I won't lie. You can still "feel"a taste of that excitement and energy watching this clips foreal. This is why LeBron just couldn't do it, he couldn't be MJ because MJ was just too far ahead of ANY athlete that ever lived. He was so great and spectacular on the court, he became bigger than basketball, hence why people who witness it for ourselves know there's no basketball equal to him, no even a close second place. LBJ is great, easily one of the top 10 greats of all time, no debate. However, MJ is just different from all the greats whoever did it before and after him. That's why he became the gold standard for all sports, and sometimes outside of the athletic domain. Like people say "He's the Micheal Jordan of baseball, football, soccer, hockey etc", simply meaning you're the best of the best! 🫡
In every era there are always somebody that stand's out , its 2024 but we still talking about MJ and his greatness, if he is not the GOAT well i dont know what to tell u.
Nice video 😊 Micheal Jordan 23 was the only guard NBA history to shoot 55%from the field almost his whole career of his the goat 🐐 Micheal Jordan is HIM💪
Jordan *never* lost to a team with a record less than or equal to his teams' records. The teams that beat him in the playoffs had to have significantly better records than his team's record, by at least 10 or more wins.
Victor Wembanyama currently leads the NBA in "stocks" at 339. This term refers to a stat which combines steals + blocks. In the 1986-87 season, Jordan averaged 37.1 ppg while recording *361* stocks. Let that sink in.
BIG ROE, YES, THE SHORT RUclips CLIPS ARE AWESOME 🤩, BUT WATCHING THE DOCUMENTARY & FULL GAMES YOUR GENERATION GETS A GLIMPSE OF M.J.’S G.O.A.T. GREATNESS!
Yeah he did have an impact unlike any other still to this day. I didn't like basketball until Michael Jordan and when he retired..... haven't watched a game since, especially since it's nothing but a bunch of watered down version of when he used to play. Nothing but a bunch of boring 3-pointers you can't camp out in the paint anymore without getting violations you can't even brush up against someone without getting called for a foul , it's sad. There's no one that does the things with a basketball trick shots the dunks the hang time you name it no other player will ever match Jordans game he had no weaknesses
I love watching a black man learning true history!!!! LJ is strictly a straight out of HS Media creation and will never be even close to MJ for any number of reasons, mainly because he isn't that good!! MJ EARNED his fame by being the very best player on the court anywhere he went!!! MJ never ring shopped or flopped or shield away from the basket!!! He didn't take games off in order to play well, he was, (unlike LJ) the very definition of clutch at all times and he never named himself the G.O.A.T., he just played his game and won!!! MJ was fearless and no one could stop him without using violence (Pistons)!!!
All these highlights that you’re watching I watched it live in Chicago cheering on Michael Jordan against the greatest team ever made until the 1996 Chicago Bulls. Yes Michael Jordan is freaking God.
That's why I always say there is no comparison LeBron can't come close...... hell, he's played twice as long and still isn't near his accolades not to mention if he gets a hangnail he misses a week of games
This documentary helps quantify what “old heads” frequently have a hard time explaining: Michael Jordan was a cultural force. He transcended race and age and even regular fandom. My football loving grandmother from the backwaters of West Virginia- who never liked or watched basketball-would stop what she was doing if Michael Jordan was playing. Other than (maybe) Tiger Woods, who else has had that level of cultural influence? The incredible thing was, once you watched him, you realized he was probably better than the hype. Which is saying something.
There is a good reason people keep saying . "Dr J saved the league, Bird and Magic made the league profitable. Jordan sent it to another stratosphere". People worldwide started getting into NBA.. Top players went from hundreds of thousands a year, to millions during his time. He's the main reason players get so much now, and SHOE DEALS.. As they say in the last dance.. no one ever marketed a team sport player before.. Tennis or golf maybe ... But even then . Nothing like Jordan did with Nike.. Nike were underdog back then. It got kids all over the world playing. all the local courts were full every afternoon. Changed the pants style and apparently made bald men cool. It's easy to forget someone who didn't live it might overlook all this. It's possible maybe a better player might come along.. But to beat Jordans LEGACY as a whole.. IMPOSSIBLE, he boosted the league in a way that will never be replicated.
Note that the Bulls were already in the Eastern conference Finals by the time Phil Jackson took over as head coach.

It's hard to walkaway from watching MJ .🔥👏👏
He's a true legend, and the one and only 🐐 🫵😃👍
My dad never cared about basketball. Because of MJ he watched every Bulls game.

I love new heads learning the whole story.. It feels good doesn't it.. No he won his first chip on magic

Your too delusional 😂😂😂
He made his first 16 free throws and then added two more at the end of the Celtics game
He may lost in celtics, but he fought until the end as a rookie that was impressive
He wss a sophomore

There is no one like MJ anymore. Sorry, LBJ is still far away. MJ shines in the distance alone💫🌟GOAT FOREVER~ ⭐️
A smart and beautiful woman with basketball knowledge.
And there are no social media at that time
BIG ROE, YES, THE SHORT RUclips CLIPS ARE AWESOME 🤩, BUT WATCHING THE DOCUMENTARY & FULL GAMES YOUR GENERATION GETS A GLIMPSE OF M.J.’S G.O.A.T. GREATNESS!
the NBA league is Michael Jordan's Playground
Mike lowry!!!😂😂😂
He’s hard to stop watching, isn’t he?

I keep saying this ..There is only one Goat..MJ..Nobody even in today's game is even close ...
He should be on the oxygen network cause he Air-Jordan.
Announcer said Boston had a stacked roster vs Jordan

In his 2nd 'Full' season (after the famous 63 PT game vs Bird) He had 37 games scoring over 40pts. Including 11 games straight of 40+ 🤯
Airjordan is the mydas of gold...what ever he touched...made money for all
They always talk about the GM2 63 PT performance, but they rarely mention the previous game (GM 1) where he dropped 49.
All these highlights that you’re watching I watched it live in Chicago cheering on Michael Jordan against the greatest team ever made until the 1996 Chicago Bulls. Yes Michael Jordan is freaking God.
MJ was him
The only athlete my Mom knows is Michael Jordan she don’t know nothing about sports

No they never broke the tie, but every time the Bulls and Hawks faced off...was like a dunk contest between them.
Movies ,documentaries people put more effort into everything they did
The dunk and stil not travling
Michael, Jeffrey Jordan was the game he was the NBA it wasn’t for him to be the NBA right now how many WNBA ha ha ha
