I stumbled on Fury Road totally by accident one night and remember being totally wowed, there is no way I'm not seeing this on the big screen. Trigger warnings?! Highly disagree, that's what a film rating is for. The increasing culture of being kept 'safe' by some voice of authority is turning people into 'snowflakes', especially the young. Big Brother is a thing...
I think Fury Road was a great movie but I don’t think it pioneered blockbuster movies making it into Best Picture at the Oscar’s because they have done this for a long time it happened with Jaws, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Arc, E.T., Lord of the Ring Trilogy, Avatar, District 9, Inception, Toy Story 3, Black Panther, Dune and I think Mad Max also fits into this but the academy has done this before Mad Max
It’s shocking what the actors go through to film movies like this! I’m all for practical set pieces but Hollywood-really have to stop traumatizing actors!
No. Apocalypse Now and The Shining are amazing because the actors suffered to make it amazing. Great art takes sacrifice. "Directors are the last noble dictators"
One of my biggest (movie-going) regrets is not seeing Fury Road in IMAX when it came out 😢
I have similar regrets for not seeing Pacific Rim and Interstellar in IMAX at release
Mine is not seeing either of them in cibema at all 😢
Mine is not seeing Coco in theaters lol
It might be re-released considering how awful the movie industry is these days 😅
I never go to IMAX(besides the Avatar movies). All the IMAX theaters in my city are trash lol
Grace I’m not sure you remember but in Fury Road review you’ve stated that the only missing piece of info for you was the Furiousa back story 😂
And it sounds like she was let down...

Don’t discount Sigourney Weaver’s uniquely deep, rich voice which has a natural wisdom and authority to it even before she has to shout.
Isn't the rating and the reason for the rating (nudity, violence, etc.) A trigger warning?
Literally.
To be fair, both James Cameron & Paul Verhoeven movies could receive those warnings but the latter tended to be more triggering to audiences.
Ratings are a trigger warning lol

I may be getting tired of him playing the character. I just don't know where he goes from here after that trash of a film Love and Thunder. I'll check this movie out.
Grace Randolph ? Have you changed the lighting setup or the makeup you use for your shows? Your videos and you look somuch better these days. I have heard of of makeup and lighting interactions being very effective or weird given the circumstances. I hope you don't mind a behind-the-scenes question. Thanks for the great content.
She got a new computer a few weeks ago so the videos are in higher quality!
@@sophiag612 ah thanks, I was wondering what was going on !
I will keep saying in hopes that it manifests 😄 JJ Abrams needs to direct the next and last Thor
So basically my immediate disinterest of the trailer was the correct instinct. Thank you, Grace. Won't be wasting time my time or dollars on this cartoon.
Nah there's only a handful of shots that look bad. If you liked Fury Road, it's 100% worth a watch
How does it feel to be so lame?
I don't know I feel like Hemsworth needs a serious role. I have enough of his overaction performances. He's good in that. I just don't like it.
Castor Troy Face/Off
I’ve just seen the movie and I have to say, as a Mad Max fan… I’m disappointed. It felt like everyone was in cosplay of iconic characters, on top of all the immersion breaking janky CGI. Also Anya Taylor-Joy clearly has enemies in the Wig department because her wigs was horrendous. Chris hemsworth for me was the only saving grace.
I agree with Dame Dench. Grace, this film is rated..R ?
Yeah, what on earth
Fuck Warner, these movies are great despite of the studio. Miller has some balls.. nobody moves him.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is gonna be huge for both Anya Taylor-Joy & for Chris Hemsworth as this is the epic prequel that Mad Max: Fury Road deserves!
I'll check it out! Might as well see it in theaters 🔥
Dune and Mad Max are super not similar, Grace.
But they both have sand!
*OMG LET'S GOOOOOOO*
Super excited about this one 😁
P.S. Just came home from seeing Challengers and OMG SO GOOD was not expecting lol,did u made a review on that one ? 🎾
Also as a Romanian 🇷🇴 was funny to hear Romanian swear words in that locker room scene XD
Also 🍆😳
There is only one question. Where the f... is Max? We need more Max Rockatansky adventures.
George miller is making it now
Do we?
Watch it in imax love it
This is my most anticipated film of the year after Deadpool 3
It’s shocking what the actors go through to film movies like this! I’m all for practical set pieces but Hollywood-really have to stop traumatizing actors!
No. Apocalypse Now and The Shining are amazing because the actors suffered to make it amazing. Great art takes sacrifice. "Directors are the last noble dictators"
@@MaxxRemKing1 Acting can be difficult but thinking that actors should be traumatized and bullied into giving a good performance is ridiculous.
Great movie. We get to see more of the world.
