Bands that never want to put out the same album twice. They keep the Papa Roach sound threw each new album but they still evolve it to newer degrees. Papa Roach fan for life!
The one issue I have with this song (got the album this year, which is why I'm commenting now instead of when it came out) is the fact that they censored it on the ALBUM version. Like, what the fuck, man? Papa Roach is KNOWN for having hard-hitting, badass music that has no holds barred. Yet here they are censoring themselves. The song is pretty sick, yeah, but I can see where some of the ire is coming from when they pull some shit like this.

The great thing about music is that a lot of artists are completely comfortable with the listener interpreting it whichever way they feel suits them best, for one person that might be about drugs, another a woman, another a man, and someone else, God.

Jacoby's vocals during the chorus is pretty powerful. This album is fun, it's just really inconsistent in tone and sound- electronic elements, political fueled anthems, Crooked Teeth leftovers, summer pop rock ballads, one crazy ass punk track, and an Egyptian-ized Imagine Dragons tune? A little too all over the place. Won't stop me from jaming out tho.
excellent review....and i couldn't agree more...BUT with that being said, the more i listen the more i love it....sure i'd rather it be heavier but my musical tastes vary wildly and while this may not be classic papa roach it's still outstanding imo

I was playing this in my car and my dad, abit of a papa roach fan, never heard of this song until it came up in my play list and he really enjoyed the song.
At first when I heard music from this album (don't know which song it was) I did not like it that much, but now after listening to the whole album I have to say, Papa Roach is one of the only bands that regularly puts out one great album after another. I am geniuenly looking forward to the next album and any other after that. This friday I will be attending one of the Europe Tour concerts and I can't wait to hear any of the song from this album live!

One of the only 3 songs I kinda like in this album. Very MUSE alike. Those electronic elements sound nice in your poprock ballads. If by next album you’re still grabbing styles from bands out there maybe you could make something similar to Audioslave Like a Stone song? Specially that solo. I really don't want to judge anyone, but is it only me, or Papa Roach is not the same anymore? Like, "Crooked Teeth" was this album I was able to listen to, but this new one is just... Maybe the only song I really can listen to and I like is "who do you trust". The lyrics of rest songs are really great, as always, but I mean the way Jacoby is singing it. It's not the Papa Roach I grew up with. I don't know how about you all, but I really hope they will come back and I'll be waiting for this cuz PR helped me through those awful times.
