Always like the roofers ax. I have a couple of old ones never thought about using them for camping, but they are an excellent tool with the hammer end as well. Use them on the Homestead all the time we keep an old ax head in the back of our side-by-side to use for splitting wood if need be never thought of the old railroad spike definitely will be putting both of these in my camping rotation. Good video.
@@fgallogallo7 thank you glad you enjoyed. It's always nice to have something that you're used to.Having in your hand all day in the woods makes you feel a little more comfortable.
New to the channel Sir.... Awesome content ..... Roofing hammers r awesome... Pesky tent stakes (putting in or taking out), chopping wood, nails as u said...🫡 can't wait to check out the older videos stay safe
I love this channel. Dakota, I appreciate the way you think. You're very resourceful. Thanks for giving me "another tool to put in my toolbox." Have a great and happy holidays. Cheers!😊👍🎉👏
Like the railroad spike idea. This hunting trip is in Alabama? Because that military Great coat would be good for Alaska or Maine. Can tell you have lived in the South all your life 😀
Have you ever used a SRO "woodsman wedgie"? I bought one and not found any wood i couldn't split with a big enough mallot..and it's lightweight..LOVE the channel
FYI, I found out why I was having so much trouble physically at the first Silver Wolves class. I had COVID in March of that year and looks like it damaged my heart. I had an incident in September this year where I passed out and my pulse was 37 in the ambulance, It latter came back up in the hospital. I had still been having trouble and my wife convinced me to go to the ER last Friday. They took an EKG and the ER doctor immediately said I was in total heart block. And I was getting a Pacemaker for Christmas. They put the pacemaker in Saturday and I feel better than I have in a long time. Didn't have your personal eMail or I would have sent it there.
