Thanks for sharing that. I use a hammock in summer and when there are enough trees. Otherwise l use a swag or single tent. After you explained how versatile the bed roll system is, I will give it a go. Though a lot of spots around here in Australia where I camp, l will only have rocks or sticks to fill the browse bag. Adapt, improvise, overcome.
You can use that very same browse bed. Take that I have in the video and use it to cover up an air mattress so that it will be protected from the grime. On the ground and a little bit of abrazian resistance will be added to the system. I don't know if you're able to get them, but if you can get a air mattress from the pathfinder store or sportsman's guide sells guide gear, those are really good air mattresses.
@@cowtipper6705 no problem my friend. Stay safe outthere were filming annovernught as we speak. I don't normally take you guys on over Nighter's because they're my chance to get away from the world, but I thank you guys, we'll enjoy this, hopefully you do.
I've been wondering what to fill an emergency browse garbage bag with out here in western Washington. We don't have many leaves but, ferns, tips off evergreens, ect. That will take experimenting. Thanks for the good video.
Good video but have 2 questions where does one get the browse bag and is it treated or is it naturally water resistant look froward to seeing next video and thanks
@@BlueCrawfish I sell them on my website. They are light canvas, or they are Naturally, water resistant. I wouldn't call them waterproof by any means I will do a video soon on how to do that. If you choose, but right now, you can make them dirty and then wash them in your washing machine
@@offthecouch1999 thanks for your response interested in seeing how you water proof it. I have seen a video using boiled linseed oil and bees wax on canvas backpacks looking forward to seeing how you do it . Thanks again
Lol its a hard job picking trees you wanna live under. Lol I enjoy the technicality of hammock hanging, especially when you consider the different brands. Sizes and systems available. I've just found that for most people haversack and bedroll Camping has been the hardest. Thanks for tuning in my friend you say safe out there
