I like how she's talking a little bit more about how she sacrificed her childhood and teenhood to get to where she's at but at the end the praise and recognition wasn't enough, it really is the love of others that gives us meaning and happiness. I think what she's saying now is that she has nothing to prove to nobody. What a great place to be.

I started to cry for no reason when I heard her saying 'Nothing feels like when my child calls me 'mommy' or when I look at my husband in the eyes...' Beyond being one of the best artists ever, she's human. She is a normal person.
She suffers, she has good times, she has bad moods...that's why I admire her this much.
    She is amazing.

Personally, I think the message behind "Bow Down" is fighting for what you want achieve in life. The opening line "I know when you were little girls/you dreamed of being in my world" can be interpreted as Fame or Success or in this case, The Skeleton Crew, telling these girls that if want everything that success brings, you have go hard and work at it tirelessly so you can reap the fruits of all of your labor. We all know that success doesn't come easy for most, but if you want it, you've got to work at it.

This just made me love her even more. I can relate to life in the spotlight and the pageant world. It can either make or break your self-esteem. I love that she shows disappointment as a means of catapulting you into greatness. Yes Beyonce is pretty, sexy, and commercially astounding, but if you pay close attention she says some of the most profound and unadulterated things that I wish I would have heard as a young girl.

I think with the "bow down" part that many people don't understand she actually talks about her haters that are jealous of her.. Because if you think about it, all the people that hate on you or are jealous are people who have insecurities with themselves because they want/wanted to be like you at some point but could'n't reach it for some reason.

This album has been helping me deal with my depression, especially Pretty hurts and Super Power. I'm thankful I have the songs, they remind me that I'm not alone and that I shouldn't tear myself down because of trying to fix features of myself that are perfectly fine to begin with. This reminds me that I need to accept myself and say no to the standards of society, So thank you Bey, your music helps and heals.

It's so funny how we view this woman as perfection ( including myself) and she doesn't. She is just as complex as all of us. But she is so genuine about it & she truly grows as a person and as an artist & she is so soulful. That's why she is so inspiring and that's why she is viewed as 'perfection'. We all know that she isn't literary perfect & she expresses hersel as being imperfect but she is still so fierce & she isn't afraid to be imperfect which still inspires us to be just like her. She is the role model you truly want to be like because you want to accept that you aren't perfect too but that doesn't mean you can't be happy & fierce like she is. We LOVE YOU BEY! #KING

Share the video so everyone can see and and finally understand the purpose of this album. Beyonce is so AMAZING. The album is greater than an album. It's a work of art with a very important and strong theme/message. Beyonce just created a new category in music. She's become a LEGEND.

I come back to this video when I need encouragement or when life gets hard. Life is short and doesn’t always go the way we want it to, but there’s so much love and beauty left to experience and we can still be ***flawless through it all.

im so glad she's doing these "self titled" videos. this time around beyonce has put thought behind every single song. from bow down to blow to flawless and jealous, this album is about her life. people are complaining about some songs being about sex. like it or not sex is reality, its important, its an inseparable part of everyone's life, especially a grown married woman. and how is this album not cohesive? all different songs contribute to the different aspects and truths of life...social pressure..sex..love(for family and children) ..hate..hard work..jealousy... fun..and sorrow. i loved this album and beyonce put it best...the message/meaning of this album is growth, love, happiness, fun enjoy all aspects of life cuz its short. im so glad she's growing now and has figured out the important things in life.
