Beyoncé documentaries are so inspirational. After you watch them, it makes you want to work 10x harder to be successful just like her. I watch her films to give me confidence and courage.
beyoncé is a once in a lifetime kind of soul. she can be the queen yet somehow make me feel like I am connected to her. the most down to earth and real woman in the pop industry.
*"My mom always told me to be strong and never be a victim, never make excuses Never expect anyone to provide me things which i know i can provide for myself"* 💖
Beyoncé is one of the most private celebrities ever like I don't know what state she lives in. There's never anything on her she just comes out for Performances and goes right back in
Revisiting this a decade later; finding a deeper meaning in every word she is saying. I remember being 13 yo and taking it as a lesson to get through it; now i see the impact it had on my perception of the world and myself. Feeling extremely blessed to be able to live along side with her and on live time. A life teacher, a mastermind, an ARTIST. love u b
People say they love Beyoncé but most fail to see her true beauty. She's an aspiring intelligent woman that understands the true beauty within herself and the world. She understands the true "secret" of this life that majority of people fail to ever see. Nothing but respect and admiration for her.
I love when Beyoncé posts stuff like this. It feels like we're chillin and hanging out in her living room just talking about this thing called LIFE. :) her thoughts match mine exactly... And it's lovely to hear something from a celebrity that is humanizing.
It's interesting to see Beyoncé say that when you're famous, you're property of the public. People don't see you as a human anymore. Because then I looked at the comments on this video and saw what I expected, loads and loads of hate. She's right. People don't treat her as a human anymore, and it's really disappointing that our society is like that.
People are petty and they forget that we are all connected, in every way. Even energetically. If we all remembered that, we would never say a negative thing about each other.
First off, no one is hating on Beyonce...if anything we are treating her like a person by saying she's full of b.s...if we were looking at her like property then we probably would agree with her, but most of us are looking at her like a spoiled ass celeb complaining about shit most ppl would be greatful to have...You can't tell me she's not ''loving herself'' when she see how ppl reveere her like a fuk'n Queen...FOH...this is just some more self promotion by a pompus ass celeb that's all...she would've been betta off just singing a fuk'n song then to make some kind of PSA about how hard life is for her.
I agree the same people that spew hate on these celebrities with their fake ass "opinions" are the same ones who life is full of bs just like hers. I hate when people feel that they can judge celebrities because they're in the public. A lot of people are just miserable within themselves and feed off of negativity and someone else's life it's sickening
Yeah, that thought might seem profound if you're stoned. But no shit our bodies are temporary, because everyone dies and everyone knows this. Beyonce needs to pull her head out of her ass.
"The love I have for music, for my husband, for my child, is something that will last far beyond my life." That is the most beautiful thing I've heard anybody say
"Never be a victim, never make excuses, never expect anyone to provide things you can provide for yourself... no one can make you happy, you make you happy." These simple lines have a huge impact in my life for real, Thank you Beyonce!
HER VOICE IS SO RELAXING AND THE MUSIC MAKES YOU THINK ABOUT EVERYTHING GOING ON RIGHT NOW IN YOUR LIFE, BEYONCE IS EVERYTHING TO ME , I CRIED WATCHING THIS BECAUSE SHE IS SO UNIQUE IN SO MANY WAYS
"When you are famous nobody looks at you as human anymore...." When I see comments like "You are rich bitch, you don't have to worry about nothing" or "She is not real"......that is what Beyoncé is talking about. Because apparently celebrities don't have feelings to you people. Y'all criticize people like Beyoncé for doing the very same shit you and people around you do all the damn time. But because a person is famous, there is a secret agenda. Anybody who finds something negative to say about this video clearly just let the video go straight right over their head. You too busy listening to your set thoughts of her rather than the words that she was saying. Even if you still don't like her, you should still be able to understand and agree about what she was talking about.
I just woke up with one notification saying "Beyoncé posted a video", so I got to come and see this, and I have to say that this made me so happy, wake up with her voice and her inspiring is so good. This woman never ever fail to make me smile, I would give my life for her. It's so easy to see that she is not one of those celebs that just think about money and fame. She has a heart too, she has feelings, and I believe so much in her. I'm 13 about to turn 14, clearly I don't have what to say too much about life but I say that she saved mine and I would do whatever for her, she keeps me alive. I honestly hope I met her one day to say how much I love her with all my heart. My queen, my everything.
Well, her mother is such a strong woman and watching her mother growing up she learned how to be strong, not to allow anyone put her down and be herself. She has said that her mother is her biggest inspiration.I believe we are all strong. We all have this power inside us.We just haven't found the existence of this power yet.
Beyoncé is the only artist ever who affected my life in a positive way. Her confidence is so inspiring. Since I listen to her I'm so much more happy with myself. She says things I find no words for but want to say. I just love her, greetings from Germany. ❤️
I really love and appreciate you Beyonce, I always knew that you would go far away, you had that fire in your eyes while dancing and singing, you are $imply the best❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Revisiting this masterpiece. Beyoncé's documentaries are always something that makes you stop and LISTEN! And not just listen, but LISTEN, HEAR AND LEARN. A formidable artistic/creative force, she is! 🤩🤩
I like when she said The body is borrowed and life is temporary. It's True. The body is a vessel used by God And Our life really begins in the Spirit and continues after the flesh had perished.
When Prince passed, I read an article about a woman who was a super fan of his. Everyone knew she loved Prince. She stated how everyone, including people she went to high school with, reached out to her to make sure she was okay. I told my mother (also a Prince fan) this story. She told me “that’s going to be you when Beyoncé passes.” And this video shows that. Her legacy is cemented. I’ve loved her my entire life.
yall are disgusting saying "what she is complaining about!?!11 she wanted to be famous take it1!1!" Beyonce can be singing the highest notes ever, dancing for 3 hours everyday but she still a fucking human, with issues, problems, insecurities, etccc. thank God Bey has enough strength to keep doing what she loves the most even when she is being judge by more than 1 million people, its sad people judge Beyonce saying she got money she should be happy, money doesnt buy happiness.
I very much appreciate her calling attention to gender issues on a worldwide stage. Not enough people know the true definition of feminism, and not enough people equate being a feminist with someone who empathises with the male struggle as well, and wants gender relations to be better for all. Men and women do balance each other out. We need to realise this and treat each other better. Thank you Bey.
feminism is what the people in the movement make it. so don't complain wen people treat feminists like a bunch of privileged, ugly, repulsive, anti-sex, misandric bra burners, when that's what the image and rhetoric of the movement was for years and still is most of the time.
***** Even though you chose to respond to my comment with negativity I am going to wish you well and send you nothing but peace and love brother. Men and women need to treat each other better and I choose to lead by example.
@CantBearIt that is simply what you choose to see. That is what biased media outlets chose to report feminism as. There are plenty of feminist who operate outside of that group of individuals but since they're not pushing there messages by radical means you and the general public don't get to witness that. So this tainted perception of what you think feminism is composed of is absolute bullshit.
***** "Ugly"? The fact that you think looks have anything to do with political activism is very telling, and very illustrative of the type of people threatened by things like feminism.
People saying she has nothing to complain about because she grew up well throughout her life. Ridiculous, every one has their demons and its not fair to compare your life to the worst to justify how you feels. Life affects everyone differently
EXACTLY! Not even in terms of Beyonce but I try to remind myself this daily when I hear people complaining over seemingly to me small things. But like you said different things effect people differently.
Except everyone knows she's a top class stunt-queen. And even though she's a millionaire, there's one thing money can't buy her: likeability. She's perceived as fake, egocentrical... haha even satanic becuz of her stupid Illuminati antics. So haters gonna hate hate hate till the end of times and she'll be sore about it. Taylor Swift is the new thing, flat assed and all. And she's starting to take Beyonce's crown...you just watch... ha (and no, I don't like Taylor Swift but she's the lesser of the two evils.)
seriesycineColombia 1. Taylor has access to and utilizes the same PR tools that Beyoncé has/does. 2. She is in the same industry, which means she has the same demons/similar vices as the rest of the celebrities do. 3. That is the biggest misconception that because Taylor does not market the same way that Beyoncé does, then she is somehow more innocent...Not in a million years. The industry plays people like that. Taylor is being groomed to be in the same position that Beyoncé is in and you better believe, she is facing the same problems, it's just that her PR team play on people's stereotypes and media fueled images that certain people who look a certain way and our from a certain background are naturally BETTER than others and people such as yourself believe it...SMH!
This is a beautiful video displaying Beyonce's perspective on human life. If a person watched this and thought she wanted you to feel sorry for her, then you definitely missed the point! If you would carefully listen and stop judging, then you would appreciate the beautiful message in this video. I personally loved when she mentioned the death of her tour photographer/ friend, Yosra. That woman passed from Cancer and had more life in her than people suffering from less. The message of this video is to not take the simple things in life for granted and to appreciate everything you encounter, good or bad! I love you, Beyoncé!1
The title of this video was taken from the poem "The Invitation" by Oriah Mountain Dreamer. On April 29, 2014, Beyoncé wrote out the entire poem on paper and posted it to Instagram. On the line "I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand at the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, ‘Yes.’" Beyoncé underlined "yours and mine". This era really and truly was about her grappling with the "failure" of her marriage.
thanks for replying to this a year later , it made me remember I left this comment & I think I'm about to post the clip I referenced here on my Instagram
First time, I heard it when I was 13 ,I don't understand that sentences. Now I am15 ,in one more week I am going to be 16... I understand it n feeling it right... Thanks to u....
It's October 2017. This documentary has part that it feels like I am hearing my own thoughts being narrated back to me. I've watched it and closed my iPad and simply just listened and it made me extremely emotional. When she said, it's start by you looking in the mirror and say; I like that person. I tried to do it, I couldn't say the words. I just couldn't and that's when I realized that all my life, I've been trying to please everyone, saying what everyone around me wants me to say... this is incredibly touching.
I worry when she puts stuff out like this because it makes me think that this is her last album and she won't be making anymore music. As beautiful as this piece was it makes me worry
You know there is a rumor that she is taking a year off next year in France with jay and blue. It's scares me but at the same time she's done so much that I feel like she deserves it.
Christopher Young I wouldn't worry. She probably will take a one or two year break again, but she always comes back :) Sasha Fierce-4 was 3 years and 4-self-titled was 2 years.
***** Beyonce always takes time off between albums. She just doesn't officially announce anything. I do think they are going to put a rush order on this album though, because I think there are some crucial childhood years coming for Blue that Bey does not want to be a distracted for.
DAMN BEY you deserve everything including the beyhive's unconditonnal love, i will take you to my village in afrika where there are no paparazzi ,where almost nobody knows you so you could enjoy the simple things of life ..i loooooooove you
I respect this woman so much, she has changed my perspective on life, love, music, and more. She will never lose my love and respect for her as a human.
I really do not understand why people hate this or Beyoncé. I think Beyoncé is different than other singers. B lets us wake up and stand up for our rights we have as females. In 1919 females got the same rights as men. There're so many things you do not know. Please look up for the facts, than watch this again and after that speak. And if you might forget: Beyoncé goes to the restroom, just like us. Beyoncé takes showers, just like us. Beyoncé's private life is just like ours. So let her have that private life. Thank you for reading.🐝
I'm ovwe here about to take my Midterms/Finals before the christmas break and I get to wake up to BEYONCE'S voice !!! I love you so much, gave me so much inspiration, I feel like I can do anything, "No one can make you happy, You make you happy" and thats the honest truth, I see too many people relying on others to control how they feel that day and what they should do to make them happy when in reality the thing that makes that person happy is themselves, Even if you're not a Beyonce fan you can take something from this film, she speaks so much I AM SO PROUD to support this album and my biggest inspiration, I hope to support and continue so much more I LOVE YOU BEY THANK YOU for being YOU,REAL, that same little girl on the guitar !!!!!!
A lot of people have misjudged Beyonce for this particular album. They misjudged this as negative or as something that proves that she has changed. Beyonce has not changed, she is just showing another side of herself that nobody has ever seen before. She sometimes wishes she was anonymous, yet she is brave enough to expose more of herself to the world. That in itself is true bravery, something that proves that she is extraordinary.
reading all these comments. You guys are so blind! She isn't talking about selling herself to satan? She isn't saying her life wasn't great and that they came from nothing. she was talking about the fact that in this industry she has no control over how she should look, how long she should work, how many days she can have off. Her image is something she must uphold in order to please her fans and the music industry. she doesn't do 9 to 5. Work finishes when she and her team feel that her performance and music is perfect. You watch her live performances? she OWNS the stage every single time she performs because she works hard to give her fans their moneys worth and more. her vocals, her outfits, her dances, her team.... By saying she grew up just like everyone else who has drama and conflict. she's right! If you are a true Beyonce fan you would know, okay so yes they had money, a nice home and all - but they had drama, they had struggles, no family is perfect just because they had money and she has fame? All she's saying is, her schedule is busy that she never gets to spend time with her Husband and daughter which is why they fight alot (or have been lately). you people obviously have no clue on how to interpret this, and have never grown up to her music.
I'll tell you what my high school coach told me we'd only job that people come on and talk about and on that note I'm done with it my wife you know I'm saying but at the end of the day we to pay their bills is DJ ICEK Daddy is James Stacey Robinson.

I am glad to be a witness of a beautiful presentation of truth, inspiration, and motivation. I was a kid in diapers dancing to the wonderful sound of queen bey. I am now twelve years old, soon to be thirteen, and I am a proud member of the bey hive. I always love the queen bey's music, and I'm always on the look out for more. Until more divine speeches of our queen bey arrive. Let's put our freak em dresses on.
Beyoncé is perhaps the only first world feminist who has expressed that she empathizes with men, and cares about their equality also - not just women like most feminists nowadays. Honestly she's a shining beacon of hope from an overall problematic part of society in some areas. If you don't respect her from a musical standpoint, respect her from an intellectual standpoint, and admire her class and tact.
Do you people even know what humanism entails? Even Beyoncé doesn't know it herself, once again failing to express and define her political views. Humanism is a movement of atheists who believe in a world without the divine; hence the word 'human' in humanism. She is a Christian so she is debunking her own beliefs with that statement.
+Appsessed I think she meant humanist in the same way she means feminist. Meaning that she's all for every human being being happy and comfortable and confident and equal with all other people and accepted.
I love her voice. It sounds like she's singing even when she's simply talking. Her voice it's just... relaxing, a beauty and sweet deep melody. And those words inspire me so much.
something that helps to glorify Beyonce is that you don't really see much of who someone is or who they want people to think they are to this level in this genre of music, she seems more real now than she ever did because of the scope that she has given the people who like her/look up to her. I don't even listen to pop/hip hip/mainstream nowadays music but I now listen to Beyonce because represents something real.
I'm not sure why I feel so proud of Beyonce right now. Thank you for showing the world the woman behind the performer and sharing your ideas and morals with us. I hope this inspires other celebrities to speak their mind on the issues they face in life and truly put an end to the idea that financial stability = complete happiness. It's merely one piece of the puzzle :) thank you beyonce.
Yeah, because celebrities are not already open about their lives and feeling, Beyonce is the first to do so. This is what annoys me with Beyonce fans, they're always acting like what she do is so original.
@NotyNoty if youre not a fan, which I can see your clearly a hater, why are you even on this video? If her fans annoy you why are you here? And what does her fans have to do with you? Exactly nothing at all.
NotyNoty Okay, buddy… tone it all the way down. My comment does not even hint at the idea that Beyoncé was the first celebrity to share their views and ideas with the world. You jumped to that conclusion because, I assume, you’re a stan for another celebrity. What I was trying to say, before you turned it into some stan-obsessed bullshit, is that I hope other celebrities notice somebody as high-profile as Beyoncé and somebody that is so respected as an artist in her industry doing something that elicits a chance to garner so much criticism for their words but still going through with sharing their ideas. These notions have been formed over countless years and influenced by countless different experiences and I think it is beneficial for influential people like Beyoncé, Ellen DeGeneres, Obama, Oprah, etc., to share these ideas to encourage other people to think about them and form their own opinions, and then share those. Evidently, this proves to be more effective than “lower-level” celebrities, who are not as respected, sharing their views on different issues. For example: Justin Beiber sharing his view on low level primary education in developing countries vs. Beyoncé doing so. The latter would obviously create a lot more discussion on the issue. Beyoncé and this video is merely one example of pushing this fourth wall society has on these societal issues. Beyoncé has also done this recently with her VMA performance where she took a stance and claimed her feminist status, which led to people such as Taylor Swift, Lady GaGa, Annie Lenox, Hayley Willams and countless other women, to share their views on feminism, and letting the world know what the word means through their eyes. Whether you have feminist ideals or not, because of people like Beyoncé and Emma Watson, this social movement has been re-introduced to mainstream media + society and people are talking about it… what’s good about it and what can be bad about it. Sorry for the long response and I doubt you even read it fully but try to be more open minded, not EVERYTHING in life is stan-related. My comment was pertaining to real life issues. Besides, if you do stan for another mainstream artist, I’m sure they are not as talented and influential as Beyoncé, but that’s not important on this video.
***** You need to take your own advice and not assume anything. I stan for no one. I made my comment based on what you typed. You continue to act as if Beyonce did something unique with this video. Again, she is not the first celebrity to be open and speak on "real life issues" which was even anything deep in this video. What deep, serious, world issues did she go in depth about? Nothing. The fact that you feel that's what she did with this video prove you're a stan. She is not the first celebrity to speak about feminism. Beyonce doesn't even know what the word feminist mean, that's why she keep changing it. And your point of mentioning who isn't as talented and influential as Beyonce goes to show how much you're coming from a stan's point of view. You're just as confused as she is.
Don't sit there and continue to spew your bullshit, you did not send that based on my comment. You're taking this to a whole other level that I WRONGFULLY assumed came from a stan-place. Not once did I even hint at the idea that what Beyonce did was original...in ANY sense of the word. I never once said "I wish other celebrities looked at how original Beyonce is and how she is sharing her ideas,I hope they follow Beyonce and do this thing, that she did first!!!". I was merely saying that I hope others notice a high-profile and respected woman sharing her ideas with the world with no evident fear of retaliation and backlash. Again, I never fucking said she was the first celebrity to talk about feminism. You continue to TELL me and everybody else on this stream that we're saying "Beyonce is the first to do this"...when nobody has done that...not even once...or hinted at the idea that she did...not even once.....or said beyonce is original...not even once. How can you be that silly to even type that sentence, as if any logical human would believe Beyonce is the first to talk about anything. I never said they were world deep issues, she discusses issues SHE faces as a woman in this world, which I commended her for it. She talked about the limitations of her celebrity, how she feels about marriage and her thoughts on motherhood and how that may change one's perspective on life. I am commending her for talking about the issues she faces. If she came out and said "Oh I've experienced poverty for the longest time"...that would not fucking matter because it isn't real to her. And for your comment about pertaining to her definition of feminism: if you knew anything about the term and what it represents, you would know that it has a different meaning to every women. Some women are effected differently than others and experience different oppressions than others. Don't accuse anybody else of being confused. You've commented on this post attempting to spoon-feed me words and ideas I've never even posted. The fact that you said "she doesn't even know the word feminist mean, thats why she keeps changing it" shows how confused and close-minded you are. You send blind and empty comments that have no ground. Feminism means so much more than a definition in ***Flawless, being able to be sexual, breaking gender barriers etc. Everybody has a different interpretation of the concept. Including Beyonce. I would honestly appreciate it if you quoted the words I've written and provide the paragraph/sentence where I claim that Beyonce is original or discusses "worldly issues" that do not pertain to her life. Only so I can review it and not lose complete faith in a stranger that wants to hate so blindly.
it's so intriguing how people can over look the message that she is sending in this video and start commenting how they don't like her talking voice WTF! humans #bowdowntothequeen
Poor Beyoncé people hate the hell out of her for no legitimate reason but she's a strong woman and never even responds to the negative things people say. I wish the world could see her for who she is a down to earth gentile soul. God bless you B ❤
RUclipsrs, I create a celebrity confrontations cartoon series in which I have Judge Judy handle the cases of public figures with nasty attitudes. I posted the latest episode just this morning "Judge Judy hears Gordon Ramsay vs Anne Robinson (The Weakest Link Host)." Please post underneath the video other public figures with revolting attitudes you'd like to see sue each other on my Judge Judy series. Remember that they must have a revolting attitude.
I DO NOT KNOW WHYYYY everyone attacks Beyonce for calling herself a feminist. She knows the definition, she is proof of feminism! She is living the life of a feminist. Empowering herself and other women! Leave this woman alone.
I HAVE to Say This But I Always Liked Beyoncé But When She Dropped This Album, I Became a FAN! I Always Knew Just By Listening to Her And Watching Her, What a Great Artist She Was But This Album Right Here, She Became Something Bigger, More Realer, More Authentic! What I Love About Her NOW Compared to Before Is That She Took It All the Way THERE With This Album! It Seems Like During Her ENTIRE Career She's Been Trying to Find the Right Vision, the Right Sound, the Right ALBUM, Not Saying That Her Previous Work Was Bad Or Anything, But Bey Really Went All Out And Exposed Who She Really Was Not Just As An Artist But a PERSON! I Became a FAN During This Era Because She Wan't Afraid to Take a Risk And Usually Artists Who Take Risks, Their Careers Are No Longer the Same But Her Career Became BIGGER! I No Longer See Her As the "Lead Singer of Destiny's Child" I See Her NOW As Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, A Woman Whose Showing the World Who She Is As a Person, What She's Feeling, What She Sees And She's Going HARD About It Too! This Is Hands Down Her BEST Work And I Feel She's a GREAT Role Model For Girls And Women! She's Beautiful, Talented, Successful, Got Married THEN Had a Child, We Don't Know Her And Jay's Business, You Don't See Or Hear About Bey Caught Up In Industry Traps Or Caught Out There Slippin', She's Focused On Her Family And CAREER And Is Not Afraid of Showing Us Who She Really Is! I'm a Fan of Mary J. Blige First But Beyoncé Has Been Added to My Favorite Artists List Cause She ENTERTAINS! I Love Everything About This Visual Album And It's Concept! Keep Bringing That Fire BEY!!!! #Happy1Year #BEYONCÉ #TheVisualAlbum
Well said, but I have to say this tho...I never saw her as Destiny Child, but more, thats B backup vocals...lolol...even tho I love me some Kelly Row!!!!! I love what you wrote, it was real for you, and you can tell you genuinely meant it! cuddos to u...
I feel sorry for people that envy Beyonce and have a lack of compassion. Thanky you Bey for sharing this part of you with us. I will remember and cherish it forever ♥
"But my mother always taught to be strog, and never be a victim, never make excuses, never expect anyone else to provide for me things that I know I can provide for myself. I have dreams, and I feel like I have the power to actually make those dreams become a reality".
this still makes me cry. i love you so much, i hope you’re proud of yourself and all your artistic achievements, growth and healing. thank you for everything 😭🤎 i can’t wait for act ii.
+Dyamond Watkine sorry to hear that. glad beyonce does that for you and make sure you always believe in and encourage yourself no matter what others may say, best of luck in everything you do.
I have a mother and I'm so sorry for u but you have to stay strong. My mama doesn't tell me this type of things , she can only talk about morals. Soooo , I teach myself everything. Love yourself more than anyone , don't let anyone bring you down! If you are okay with yourself and u think that what you're doing is the right thing , then keep doing that. Be powerful. Stand up on your feet. Be independent. ❤️
What some people can't stand about Beyonce is not only is she stunningly beautiful on the outside but her INSIDE matches in a world where the vapid and shallow are celebrated on FLEEK. Unhappy people need something…anything…to feel resentful and bitter about so the projection on BEYONCE and anyone else for that matter will never stop. I'm just happy to see her growing into being unapologetic while at the same time displaying such humility. She is GOD connected.
Man people are so venomous and mean with comments. I am a true fan hence why I watched the video but it's not like the video is gospel I live by. If you don't like her why spend 12 minutes of your life watching it and then another 30 trying to come up with an unsuccessful attempt at an intelligent clever derogatory statement? Surely there is something better for you to do like join a guild in WOW or Internet troll on media takeout.....
Ashley Pendleton I like you. Yeah, I dont use that word often ha i do appreciate you correcting me i wouldn't have noticed babe. I like the way you used it too.
tyler lee they are both correct but in the context I was using it my spelling was more appropriate since hateful people like to spit mean words like venom. :) As if they don't hurt people.
Such an insightful and beautifully worded explanation of what BEYONCE actually stands for. Of who Beyonce is as a person and the incredible hard work, dedication, and courage it took to make this visual album into a reality. There's so many people out there that hate Beyonce and everything she does and I will never understand them. But that's okay. I dont have to. All I have to understand is the fact that Beyonce is a REAL human being with REAL fears, anxieties and doubts. With REAL desires, loves, and joys. She is willing to share that with the world through music and art. That is enough for me to understand that I have great respect for her and who she is as a woman, musician, and person.
This is why she will always be my favorite. Words can't describe how much I love this woman .One of my biggest inspirations. She is so honest and real, haters can't say nothing about this video.BOW DOWN
I can honestly say that I was dealing with depression and she's one of the people who I admire to be everything she does is absolutely amazing. I love this video, it makes me want to push my self
This video is an example of why I love everything about this women. She never fails to make me feel better about myself , watching her videos bring strength and happiness in my life . Everyone needs to remember this -''Happiness comes from you, no one else can make you ''
Words cannot describe how much I love this. I love how much Beyoncé is opening up to us, the public, and her fans. For someone as private as her, it must have been a big step. Thank you Bey for sharing :)
I pray that Beyoncé is surrounded with love and people that protect her… Not only tht but, I hope she feels protected. That lady has the world on her shoulders and I can only imagine the amount of stress and scrutiny she faces on the daily. She was so right ! People really don’t see you as human when you’re famous.
During all these years, i can't explain how could I lose this gem, seriously. I wish I had received before these messages from B, I wish I had a chance to watch it years ago but is never too late
Beyonce is so clever and mature woman. And I learned a lot from her. She inspired me as a woman. I wish Beyonce speaks more about life and relationships.
You guys look at Beyonce in the wrong light. You complain about her fame and people admiring her but that's the very thing that makes her famous. People who hate her and people who love her. It doesn't matter you still watch her. Yes I love her music. No she doesn't inspire me but who is to say she don't inspire other people. Same how you have people who inspire you. She inspire other people. You might not understand why or how she is an inspiration but don't downplay the effect she has on other people. No one likes their role model to be put down. Who cares how much money she make or how you view her. If she wants to speak let her. The same way you do what you have to to make a living so does she. Don't judge her lifestyle because you don't live it. You don't know what happened in her life that isn't documented. You only see the money she makes. And that is exactly what this video speaks of when she says people don't see her as human. Even as you hate her you place her above where she really is. A talented woman who finds solace in music. If you found solace in writing and became famous for it are you any less human? Are you any less inspiring? Get over her fame and ask for behind the scene images.
The visuals and voice you put into the world are so moving and outstanding. Thank you for making and being some of the most beautiful art of our time. You're a gem.
Generic Username lemonade made me sad also! i think beyonce has been sad for years! your emotional state of mind shows up in your work. She keeps presenting documentaries, songs and pictures that comes off with a sad overwhelmed message.
I will never understand why people only comment NEGATIVITY. If you have nothing nice to say then please refrain from commenting. This video is for Beyonce's FANS!!!! Beyonce is a undeniably beautiful, talented, and a hardworking mother. There is no other artist that compares! Thank you Beyonce for sharing your soul with us. I look forward to your upcoming music and projects! ;)
Wow! Like...Um...Just WOW BEYONCÉ! Of all the behind-the-scenes like footage I've seen, this has got to be the most touching and heartfelt. The part about being famous and how difficult it can be to do ordinary things, I can't imagine what that must feel like. Insinuating moments of wanting to give up but her mom taught her to stay strong, no matter what. WOW! The honesty she has revealed to us, this era and without doing any TV interviews, has me having more respect for who Beyoncé is and what she does than ever before. Thank God that she has Jay-Z and now Blue here helping and supporting her through it all...and giving her that extra courage to keep on going. I guess, for Bey, Life IS But A Dream. Always and Forever, QUEEN BEY, I 💙 You!!!! (sidenote - Just what in the heavens could she possibly do next to top this era? Only time will tell us.)
She doesn’t deserve any hate at all. She makes so many sacrifices just to please us with her music and now she is stuck with no way out. At least that’s how I would feel in that situation..
Damn, she put her humanity out there to lets us know she's a human being. She has a soul that thinks and feels things deeply like us. She's recognizing the humanity in us too, but some people don't even make an effort to recognize the human in her. The media is so psychologically powerful and obviously it's done a powerful job in desensitizing the public from people like her. She's a powerful being and it appears very clearly. She wants us to recognize that power within ourselves too.
B is the ultimate in fame, she shows us flaws and all......When she dropped Younce(sp) I thought, no way will she top this, and then she gave us Lemonade!!!!!! Really she is like a fine vintage of wine, she just keeps getting better with time...
Beyoncé documentaries are so inspirational. After you watch them, it makes you want to work 10x harder to be successful just like her. I watch her films to give me confidence and courage.

Beyoncé is one of the most private celebrities ever like I don't know what state she lives in. There's never anything on her she just comes out for Performances and goes right back in
In a way, it makes me connect to her music more because I barley know things about her and I have to listen and understand her music to get her.
+AutisticWhale 2 yes you put it just right 🙌🏿

+YanethMarlysse yes the background music is amazing.. i'm replaying this constantly because of it.

I listen to her voice and soak up what she's saying... it's saddening but at the same time it's so... fulfilling
Lol yesss ..... I watched her documentary so many times ....she's a great artist very humble ...you can tell she's shy
I totally agree with you
It's interesting to see Beyoncé say that when you're famous, you're property of the public.
+Toya Adams you act like you know what she's been through
toya adams Later hater
I agree the same people that spew hate on these celebrities with their fake ass "opinions" are the same ones who life is full of bs just like hers. I hate when people feel that they can judge celebrities because they're in the public. A lot of people are just miserable within themselves and feed off of negativity and someone else's life it's sickening
"I feel like this body is Borrowed, and this life is very Temporary." I feel ya Gurl.
WOW I read this comment at the same moment she said it in the video LOL
Yeah, that thought might seem profound if you're stoned. But no shit our bodies are temporary, because everyone dies and everyone knows this. Beyonce needs to pull her head out of her ass.
Omg this sentence got stuck in my head after she said it. I feel ya too bruh!!

I feel the same way
"When you are famous nobody looks at you as human anymore...."
When I see comments like "You are rich bitch, you don't have to worry about nothing" or "She is not real"......that is what Beyoncé is talking about.

You're so cute
Omg, you just made me cry. But thank you for that! I'm 14, too and I know how you feel. Thank you again for this comment, it gave me so much hope. ♥♥♥

Beyonce is soooo strong. She doesn't give a fucking fuck about nothing. I admire her strength. How can she be sooooooo strong?????????????
Well, her mother is such a strong woman and watching her mother growing up she learned how to be strong, not to allow anyone put her down and be herself. She has said that her mother is her biggest inspiration.I believe we are all strong. We all have this power inside us.We just haven't found the existence of this power yet.
Strong Because she is real

"There is nothing more exciting than having a witness to your life"-Beyonce She said a mouthful
yall are disgusting saying "what she is complaining about!?!11 she wanted to be famous take it1!1!" Beyonce can be singing the highest notes ever, dancing for 3 hours everyday but she still a fucking human, with issues, problems, insecurities, etccc. thank God Bey has enough strength to keep doing what she loves the most even when she is being judge by more than 1 million people, its sad people judge Beyonce saying she got money she should be happy, money doesnt buy happiness.

*****
Even though you chose to respond to my comment with negativity I am going to wish you well and send you nothing but peace and love brother.
*****
"Ugly"? The fact that you think looks have anything to do with political activism is very telling, and very illustrative of the type of people threatened by things like feminism.
Yes! You are telling everyone great thing! I also wounder why they could not keep TLC? ???
People saying she has nothing to complain about because she grew up well throughout her life. Ridiculous, every one has their demons and its not fair to compare your life to the worst to justify how you feels. Life affects everyone differently
EXACTLY! Not even in terms of Beyonce but I try to remind myself this daily when I hear people complaining over seemingly to me small things. But like you said different things effect people differently.
Yes! Such as Tyler Joseph has said. Such smart people

this is exactly what the world needed to see to stop hating on her
haters gonna hate... they will only love her when shes dead... SAD BUT TRUE
so true LorenzoFresh Linx
LorenzoFresh Linx Yep Taylor said it best for Beyonce!!
Taylor is being groomed to be in the same position that Beyoncé is in and you better believe, she is facing the same problems, it's just that her PR team play on people's stereotypes and media fueled images that certain people who look a certain way and our from a certain background are naturally BETTER than others and people such as yourself believe it...SMH!
this is the side of beyonce that i live for more then anything.
Definetely agree.
The music accompanying this documentary is so beautiful. I mean just sonically pleasing. Beyonce has such an amazing ear.

stil makes me emotional tbh
It's October 2017. This documentary has part that it feels like I am hearing my own thoughts being narrated back to me. I've watched it and closed my iPad and simply just listened and it made me extremely emotional. When she said, it's start by you looking in the mirror and say; I like that person. I tried to do it, I couldn't say the words. I just couldn't and that's when I realized that all my life, I've been trying to please everyone, saying what everyone around me wants me to say... this is incredibly touching.
"People see you as a public property" that breaks my heart, love n compassion to my love Beyonce
'Happiness comes from you. no-one else can make you happy. You makes you happy.'

Yea
I worry when she puts stuff out like this because it makes me think that this is her last album and she won't be making anymore music. As beautiful as this piece was it makes me worry
The Dream has already confirmed he's working with her on her sixth album.
You know there is a rumor that she is taking a year off next year in France with jay and blue. It's scares me but at the same time she's done so much that I feel like she deserves it.
Shes a Flop !

I feel the same way!
That in itself is true bravery, something that proves that she is extraordinary.
she's always so inspirational. Says the greatest things. My favorite part is when she said no one makes you happy but you
reading all these comments.
They didn't really grow up with money though. The even had to downsize their house. Common Misconception
PREACH!!! I couldn't have said better myself.

***** Too bad people always try to paint her as a villain when she's constantly doing good things for the world.
+Never Not Inspired "she's constantly doing good things for the world" - what exactly do you mean?
+Appsessed I think she meant humanist in the same way she means feminist. Meaning that she's all for every human being being happy and comfortable and confident and equal with all other people and accepted.
+Never Not Inspired Emma Watson is also a feminist who emphasizes with men and cares about their equality too.
Erika A very true
*****
You need to take your own advice and not assume anything.
10:18 “happiness comes from you. No one else can make you happy, you make you happy.” words to live by from bey ❤️
how can she be so beautiful outwardly, yet be even more beautiful inwardly??? like who is this woman??
Poor Beyoncé people hate the hell out of her for no legitimate reason but she's a strong woman and never even responds to the negative things people say. I wish the world could see her for who she is a down to earth gentile soul. God bless you B ❤
Absolutely beautiful.
i love the way you're always commenting positive comments on all videos ♥

RUclipsrs, I create a celebrity confrontations cartoon series in which I have Judge Judy handle the cases of public figures with nasty attitudes. I posted the latest episode just this morning "Judge Judy hears Gordon Ramsay vs Anne Robinson (The Weakest Link Host)." Please post underneath the video other public figures with revolting attitudes you'd like to see sue each other on my Judge Judy series. Remember that they must have a revolting attitude.
Indeed
i still rewatch this every few months. pure WISDOM.
U on point bro.... I felt the same way about her
***** Exactly what happened with me, this album made me into a huge fan
yesss.
Exactly what I felt! This album and era was a masterpiece well done Beyonce.

💜💜💜💜
+Dyamond Watkine sorry to hear that. glad beyonce does that for you and make sure you always believe in and encourage yourself no matter what others may say, best of luck in everything you do.
+missm inpink ytdñe
^_^ i wish for you the heppyness
I have a mother and I'm so sorry for u but you have to stay strong. My mama doesn't tell me this type of things , she can only talk about morals. Soooo , I teach myself everything. Love yourself more than anyone , don't let anyone bring you down! If you are okay with yourself and u think that what you're doing is the right thing , then keep doing that. Be powerful. Stand up on your feet. Be independent. ❤️
no one gives a shit 💜💜💜💜
What some people can't stand about Beyonce is not only is she stunningly beautiful on the outside but her INSIDE matches in a world where the vapid and shallow are celebrated on FLEEK. Unhappy people need something…anything…to feel resentful and bitter about so the projection on BEYONCE and anyone else for that matter will never stop. I'm just happy to see her growing into being unapologetic while at the same time displaying such humility. She is GOD connected.
im not famous but a single mom... still i feel the same way about life she does
then congratulations to you, you're the most powerful woman. your child will be proud of you.
Natasha Ghoreishi This almost made me cry, because I'm a single mum too.
I personally have a new found respect for her . "I am a humanist " this is such a deep and inspirational video .
Venemous.
tyler lee "venemous" is an obsolete form of venomous, a derivative of venom. Thanks for the failed attempt at correcting my grammar though.
Ashley Pendleton Whatever. You know how.. picky i am.
I'm not a huge Beyonce fan. This made me one. I feel agree and can relate to everything she says 💕
Welcome to the Beehive
This is why she will always be my favorite. Words can't describe how much I love this woman .One of my biggest inspirations. She is so honest and real, haters can't say nothing about this video.BOW DOWN
I can honestly say that I was dealing with depression and she's one of the people who I admire to be everything she does is absolutely amazing. I love this video, it makes me want to push my self
All I care is that she's opening her soul to us and hers touches mine. She's a gift from heaven! I love her.
I just hate myself coz I am viewing this 3 years later...Beyoncé you are a true inspiration. May God keep on blessing you always. Beyhive 4 life.
This video is an example of why I love everything about this women.
She never fails to make me feel better about myself , watching her videos bring strength and happiness in my life .
Everyone needs to remember this -''Happiness comes from you, no one else can make you ''
Beyoncé literally puts everything in perspective and it's just leaves me in awe at how strong and talented she is
Words cannot describe how much I love this.
This was beyond beeutiful for me. It opened my eyes about some things...Love you B. Thanks for sharing this with us
Lepa afna it opened my eyes too
Beyonce is so clever and mature woman. And I learned a lot from her. She inspired me as a woman. I wish Beyonce speaks more about life and relationships.
This is everything I needed for the rest of 2020. This will be my year. I cannot disappoint myself when Beyonce just showed me how not to. I got this!
For some reason this made me unbelievably sad.
me too 😢
me too 😣😭😭
Generic Username lemonade made me sad also! i think beyonce has been sad for years! your emotional state of mind shows up in your work. She keeps presenting documentaries, songs and pictures that comes off with a sad overwhelmed message.
Me too 😢😩
Really? Its very empowering to me. But ive also been attempting to align my chakras lately, so that could be it
I will never understand why people only comment NEGATIVITY.
This era was amazing and I know she will top it but I can't even imagine what that will be but I can't wait to see it!
Renaissance!!!!!!! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾
She doesn’t deserve any hate at all. She makes so many sacrifices just to please us with her music and now she is stuck with no way out. At least that’s how I would feel in that situation..
i've seen this twice. once in 2015, and today. it's almost like watching an entirely different film. my perspective has widened so much. incredible.
The things she says are very valuable and really make you think... Amazing. The music adds to it.
i really like this woman on the verge of love.
B is the ultimate in fame, she shows us flaws and all......When she dropped Younce(sp) I thought, no way will she top this, and then she gave us Lemonade!!!!!! Really she is like a fine vintage of wine, she just keeps getting better with time...
WHO EDITED THIS VIDEO??? THIS PERSON IS BRILLIANT :D
Probably Beyoncé
She’s edited her own stuff before
