In this video we’re gonna show you how to program a brand new key fob in this Vauxhall Astra J.
This procedure also applies to other Vauxhall cars from similar manufacture years such as the Insignia A or the Zafira C.
Diagnostic equipment that we use to this job is OP COM. Cheap and its easy to buy it online on websites such as ebay or aliexpress.

The only annoying thing was being trapped in the car for 10 minutes as it resets if you open the door during the programming time.

very interesting sequence. Close the door / open the door / insert the key. But before that, the program did not say Open the door

Is this a real version of opcom or a modified version that you use as i installed my opcom cloned and it only went upto 2010 cars

Buenas el caso eske ago todo bien pongo la llave nueva nunca programada y hago todo bien con el opcom perp cuando llega la cuebta atras de los 10 seconds se queda a 0 y no ay cuebta atras alguien sabe porke pueder e visto k tiene fallo de inmovilizador en los codigos de errores pero meto la llave vieja y cierro las puertas y abro y funciona

Hello, I have the exact same model, my main key stopped working because the battery ran empty, so i start using the replacement one... a lot of time later, aka today, I finally bought a new key battery, I can turn my engine on, but i can't open/close the doors with the key buttons, what can I do? I tryied what the manual says, like, turn the engine on with the key, or rotate the egnition to the run position while pressing the lock doors button, but nothing happened, what can I do?

Using OP-COM on Opel Zafira C is only useful for checking OBD II DTCs; programming is not functional.😠

Thanks man I have Opel Zafira 2012 and I already programed one new key by Delphi but my problem is the remote control dose not work, is there other way to programing the two bottons without that hardware?
I have the same trouble, even tried in the official service by using the gm MDI scanner but was unsuccess. OP-COM as well can't program Opel Zafira C

@@Zefer1no he comprado en alliexpress un mando opel nuevo completo con circuito inmobilizador de 4 BOTONES por 7euros , el mio original de 2 botones sigue operativo.
Debes saber , que todos Los mandos del astra j van a frecuencia de 433MHZ por si lo compras.
Lo he hecho igual y como ves en el video de este RUclipsr inglés.
Es facil, siguiendo los pasos , pero como ves, necesitas un programa, el OPCOM V 1.70 que también lo tienes EN ALIEXPRESS, vale para más cosas que programar mandos como ver averias coche y borrarlas de casi todos los modelos opel desde 2009 al 2015 , luego tienes que INSTALARLO en un portátil Windows 7.
Así lo harás la reprogramación.
Ahora yo abro el maletero SOLO si quiero sin abrir puertas y además tengo claxon a distancia, que como FUNCIÓN DISUASORIA es muy práctica.

Can you run opcom software in windows 10?
Yes, but it's very complicated to make it work in many cases. The 1.99 version Opcoms are scams and don't work 50% of the time. I bought one from ebay running 1.65 and it worked excelent
I got the 1.99 working on x64 version of Windows 10 but you do have to install/update the driver supplied in the program. Check out other tutorials on how to do this.

Can I do it without Vauxhall pass? Or can I find different way to find code?
Go to Vauxhall, I paid £30 for a new one. It took me less than a second to program a new key. Spent £4 on a key from Ebay and £10 to get the key cut. Getting a programmed spare would have cost £180 and one that would have only turned the ignition and open the door £75 so I'd say it was worth it
Where do you get new key with chip? All i can see online is just the cover with button and uncut key but NO CHIP. also where can i get vauxhall car pass if i dont have it? Thanks
