I just bought one for my 19zl1. I will use the dragy to make a couple 1/4mi runs before. Then, install it and do it again. The data should show if it made a gain or not. Great video. 👍 also, didn't realize your from Australia. Driving an American muscle car. Nice.

Thanks man! I would love to know the results of the test although like all bolt-on parts it will only show it's full potential once tuned. I wont be going for a tune for a little while but I am 100% sure there is better response at 60kmh (35mph?). As soon as there is enough speed for air to be forced rather than sucked into the filter! And yes, a small number of Aussies were fortunate enough to get their hands on a limited run of factory backed RHD Camaro's 2SS's and ZL1's. Awesome cars!

      @@markgrovenor389 so I ran 6.61, 6.64, 6.69. Hot a little worm.
Installed the ramair with a long Cool off got 6.57, 6.53, 6.55. Over all it made a solid gain. .. the average run was 6.4 and after the average was a 6.55.

@@mjc3502 Great feedback thanks! I can't wait to see how it responds to a tune. The ideal tune would need to replicate the forced air induction but I am sure there are good tuners out there!

@@markgrovenor389 I dont think you can tune this because you need to be driving down the road or it doesn't work. Sitting at idle, it will not change air or fuel ratio. The gain was not massive, but I was happy to get a gain for the money.

@@markgrovenor389 so, I raced my buddies z06 vett. We race from 70mph to 150mph. I would get him by only half a car in the past. I'm almost a full car on him now. So, the gain was small, but made a gain I thought from my draggy times I would have pulled more. But I guess there are many variables that could change things here and there.
