    Yes, the audio on this thing is really really good. I have an LG Oled and that thing sounds nowhere near like the Bravia 9. I own the 75inch and it is now my favorite tv. You have your pros and cons with both OLED and Mini LED, so it comes down to preference. I love the sound of the Bravia 9 without having to use a soundbar, the picture clarity, and the much more natural skin tones it provides.

      Yeah, I'd like to see them reviewed. I would guess they are close to Filmmaker mode which is the absolute worst mode next to Vivid 🙂 This TV must have a rich deep detailed image but it needs the processing to do that.

    The reason I’m hesitant to purchase the Bravia 9 is due to the rainbow 🌈 reflections. Have two lamps in my room that sit off too the side of my Samsung q90r and don’t have any issues with lighting on the screen.

      @furballbear They're both great TVs. While we don't have a scientific way to measure the brightness here at our store, from the eye test the Sony looks brighter. But if you're a gamer with multiple next gen gaming systems, the Samsung has 4 HDMI 2.1 ports that support next gen gaming features like VRR and 4K at up to 144Hz. If you need any assistance choosing the right one be sure to contact our experts at 800-860-3736. We can also tell you about any promotions we have that can't be advertised online.

      That's the big question - waiting for Rating to post the blooming image (their score is less relevant). The Bravia 7 has noticeable issues in the 2 images compared to the X95L and X93L they posted. Like all Sonys it's in a class of its own in the HDR images (roof and wall writing and hallway lights).
      Hopefully, we can the X95L and Bravia 9 side-by-side but that's going to be tough.

    • @techsamurai11
      @techsamurai11 21 день назад

      @@bustercolin7507 over 3x more than the X95L - the backlight comparisons that Sony demonstrated were amazing but can you see it in real life?
      In the comparison of the X95L last year (CSOT panel, not the AUO 85 inch panel), it looked near identical to the dual-cell Sony reference. Obviously, Sony's reference monitor with 2 million contrast would have shown a near perfect backlight image almost like an OLED if they had compared it to the Bravia 9. And yet our eyes could not detect the difference in pitch black between the X95L and Sony reference when black levels matter. The Bravia 9 falls between them.
      Once you add ambient light, you'd be shocked how close a Sony IPS Edge-lit 1080p Flagship is to a 800-nit OLED. Are there differences? Yes, can you spot them immediately? Nope, you'll have to pause and spend minutes looking at pixels at the same time (side-by-side won't work, you need focal vision on both - that's how tight it is). 🙂
      If you did a test turning your head to look at each or swapped A/B with a pause to clear your sight, they'd be identical.

    Hello, how are you? Can I ask a question? I want to buy a TV. What do you recommend? LG G4 or Sony 9. Thank you.

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  19 дней назад +2

      @user-rz4eg6cz1u Both are great choices and offer amazing pictures. The Sony Bravia 9 is brighter and has a better audio system built in. The LG G4 has better contrast and 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs (great for people with multiple next gen gaming systems), but you have to be a little more cautious of static images on the screen as over time they can cause burn in to occur. It's much better than it used to be, but can still happen with an OLED TV. If you need more info, be sure to give our TV experts a call at 800-860-3736 and they can help you find what will work best for your setup.

    So if the tv audio is that good, does adding the sound bar do much? In what case scenario would you add the soundbar?

    • @abtelectronics
      @abtelectronics  19 дней назад

      @DiegoSanchez12 It can still benefit from adding a soundbar, but it would need to be a really good soundbar. Also, if the soundbar has a separate subwoofer it will help as well. That's the one thing that's not quite there on the Bravia 9, the bass. It's not bad, but a separate subwoofer makes it even better.

    The anti gloss usually makes things worse as it's more of that bigger blurry light and worse here rainbow with it instead of just some small dim light that's not messing up a large percentage of the picture!

    First. What happened to all the QD-OLED hype Sony and Samsung were selling to the public? Looks as though it didnt line their pockets with enough cash so they both went Mini-LED as their top of the line sets for 2024. Second. The Bravia 9 is a nice set but its still LED which means blooming and no matter how you cook it it still dont match the contrast of OLED. Then once again only 2 HDMI 2.1 Ports. For what they charge thats insane.

  • @techsamurai11
    @techsamurai11 21 день назад

    Good video but I disagree with the model number switch and I hope Sony reads this. I understand the issue because the previous model numbers made no sense as the X90L had a higher value than the A80L. That could have been resolved by upping the number of the lower OLED to A90L or changing it to something more descriptive like the OLED80L and OLED95L making it apparent that they are OLED TVs and therefore premium and reducing confusion in the consumer's minds.
    This new number sequence has created more issues for Sony as the Bravia 7 is priced at $2,000 and is not really a convincing upgrade over the $1,600 X93L. The Bravia 8 has to be more expensive since it's OLED and a number higher which now puts it out Samsung's QD OLED range of the S90C and makes it vulnerable to the C4 since Sony can't compete because of the Bravia 7 - Sony has to re-price every model to lower the price of one model. Otherwise, people will be scratching their heads wondering why the Bravia 8 is the same price as the Bravia 7 and the Bravia is twice as expensive...
    As for the Bravia 9, it got everything while the Bravia 7 got brightness over the X95L and nothing else. It also has the same angles as any entry level TV on the market which is a shame for such a premium TV.
    As for the Bravia 3, who wants the 3 - is it free? is it $300? Obviously, no one wants 1/3 of the Bravia 9 for the price of the U7N which is just one number lower than the U8N 🙂 7 vs 3? Tough one... They may as well have called it the Economy model while every other manufacturer called their comparable offerings the Super Duper Premium Deluxe First Class Model 🙂
