Thank you very much for the simplified explanation. I have seen a couple of other videos but I found yours one is the most interesting and easy to understand. I wish you all the best.
Hi Professor, thanks for your useful video. I have a question, if one factor is an exponential factor, which brings a huge difference between two levels, do we still expect average as the way to calculate main effect?
By exponential factor, I think you mean the response is exponential. In that case, either try using a log transformation for response or you may need to use response surface design.
Thank you very much for these simple and helpful videos. I have one question, you have clarified how to calculate the value of interaction for two values. My question is how to know the interaction of the three factors ABC.
I thank you for your informative videos. I want to optimize the experimental conditions for a qualitative (pass / fail) type of test. Kindly suggest what type of 1. design of experiments can be used to optimize such tests 2. statistical analysis can be use to check validity of the test results Example/literature references in the replies will be highly appreciated.
Hello Avik! Thank you! For pass fail, you should preferably conversation the response in to variable data, wherever possible. The other choice is increase sample size for each treatment and proportion becomes your response. Proportion of fairly large sample sizes can be considered approximately Normal. Hope this helps.
Why cant professors simply explain it this way... i dont need him/her repeating exactly whats on the books. If the student is interested in the theory he/she can go to the book. Lectures should be about simplification via practical problems.
The best combination is determined using the regression model. If you use Minitab, you can use response optimizer. In XL, you can use solver. I am giving a generic answer to find optimum settings. Often there are other constraints such as cost or some other response. In that case, we need to optimize multiple responses.
The best videos available anywhere!!! Very grateful🙏
Dear Sir, your explanation is so clear. So grateful to you. Excellent work!

Sir have you any video of applying annova analysis on L9 Tagauchi table
At the moment no. How many runs do u have?
Thank you very much for these simple and helpful videos. I have one question, you have clarified how to calculate the value of interaction for two values. My question is how to know the interaction of the three factors ABC.
Calculation of three factor interaction is similar. Make a column, calculate the algebraic multiplication and calculate interaction.

Super
So nice. Thanks.
Thank you for this video. I am not able to understand the workings of the pivot table
Ok. You can get dozens of videos on pivot tables. For example this link: ruclips.net/video/BkmxrvIfDGA/видео.html.
How could I find the best/worst spot between values for exemple: Which combination gives the highest and lowest strenghts?
It can be determined using the regression equation.

Yes. Method of teaching matters!
Thank you! Appreciate your feedback!

You still did not answer the starting question of which combination is the best for our use? How do we find that?
