My mom used to buy me so many cartoons like this on cassettes and it took me so long to find this on RUclips. I love it, it is just as beautiful as I remember it.
Amazing that an Artist's hand created every single frame like flipping through a book's pages. Every line of the pen and every stroke of the brush changed the action and this is among the first examples.

The female bird didnt deserve the male bird. He should have let her go and found a new mate. Whats the lesson here? Lovely birds flying very happily in the sky and builds a cute home for their children !but because of the arrival of a cruel musician (crow) they are separated ! The tiny sparrow leaving her lovable husband and go with the cruel musician ! But the lovable husband with sad searching his wife ! The cruel crow hates the lil sparrow and throwaway her in the cold ! At last her husband save her !Then they are living happily forever!Nice cartoon !! I love it ! Thanks CCC!!
Why did they kick her out? I I know there’s probably no right answer, but it’s always irked me that they never explained why they kicked her out into the snow.
Fliescher Bros didn’t have the strongest writing. I didn’t like that the reason wasn’t shown, either. It is a cartoon about prejudice about skin color and origin, and about crass mainlanders treating Hawaiians terrible. It definitely needed a scene about the Oriole’s friends reacting to the lady bird being different.
I notice some versions of this cartoon cuts out the part of the girl bird getting kicked out of that club. Just suddenly cutting to here outside for whatever reason.
what is the name of the song? it says something like "we live in paradise we live together in my heart. I belong to you and you belong to me" something like that. Please I've been looking for that song for a long time
