yeah that was nice, but i couldn't stand the smoothcam preset, i prefer the camera being centered on the player, this just reminded me too much of vanilla skyrim's camera preset.
at 2:10 I think the infinite blocking bug from precision was the cause of that. Theres a mod for that on Nexus to fix! I have to put it on modlists all the time.
This is only 760 mods? Well done. Im up to 1200 mods, ofcourse a good chunk are patches. I think you've done extremely well for less than 1000 mods. I like the enb. Good lighting. Wouldnt mind checking it out for my own build. What enb is that?
mostly texture mods lol. i usually go for the texture packs to make it simple, i don't like adding in individual texture packs, this weeds down the number of less important mods added to the game and leaves room for more important mods.
@Kikuwik oh , i see . Just felt the Need to replay this gem with mods and i stumbled Upon this vid , now I'm really looking forward to play It . Really nicely done .
This may be an stupif question but, what would it take...if its even possible...to have this as a single instal like enderal or something of the like? I dont really understand how modding works but, cant it all be patched into one single instal? Im really curious because i've tried these premade mod lists and wbajack but the amount of stress a pc takes is massive and I have a very good rig. Wouldnt it be better to mash it all up? How different is this compared to enderal? Are they even compareable? This are honest questions btw, not trying to troll or anything!
Enderal is essentially a game made using Skyrim as a base, and one team developed it and made their own assets. Modlists include mods from many other authors to make one large package. The issue isn’t that you aren’t allowed to distribute that finished package. It has to do with the terms of use of mods. Essentially, mod authors have ownership of their mods, and if someone takes mods and packages them, then distributes it, that new product is using other people’s assets in a modified form. There exist licenses that allow modification, though many do not, and redistributing other people’s mods can be against the terms of service. It would be like offering a download for a Star Wars + Star Trek Marathon list. The IP owners can distribute their content, but random unassociated schmucks can’t. It depends on the mod, but generally, you can’t just compile mods and distribute a list like that because it violates terms of use, and that’s the standard on most websites that host the mods like Nexus. Modlists do not violate this because you download each mod from its source and compile the lost locally. The mods are not being distributed elsewhere.
there is a way, kind of, while using vortex and their collections, but you have to have enough room on your PC and your PC needs to be able to handle the mods in the list, and you would need to pay for nexus premium for a month, which is super cheap considering what it has to offer. the account is free, but the collections system costs a little money, it's only 3 bucks a month, and you can just only do that first month if you want, but the reason why you want this subscription in the first place is to bypass all the complicated stuff in modding, i'm talking about individually downloading and doing the conflict load order stuff, this stuff comes with your payed membership status and once you find a modlist that will work with your PC specs and build, hit the download button and allow Vortex to do everything for you, it might take a while, but the the membership also allows uncapped download speeds, so if you have a really fast internet it will allow you to download at your top speeds making the process go much faster than a free account and it's a hands off process mostly, a free account is locked at 2mbps for all downloads.
Requiem with 3bftweaks is pretty good with the combat, full overhaul of the game and several modlists that support it. Its super hard but just increase your magicka hp and stamina by 75 early on and it plays like dark souls basically, its really fun.
The camera bob was subtle but lowkey immersive AF. Great job, Kiku! Can't wait to get hands on the list.
