Hi Emly, i am a yoga teacher and a regular mediator. I have been meditating for the past consistently 5 years 20 minutes every morning. I am now going to include a 20 minute meditation every evening. i suffer from chronic insomnia and hope that including 20 to 30 minutes every evening will help me sleep better. It seems to me that a lot of English and Western people hear the word "Meditation" and think about all sorts of things, like sitting on the floor cross-legged, with your hands curled up strangely, chanting something into a candle while stopping your mind or something. I think she is using "the M word" instead of the word "Meditation" to ease people into the practice, without all of those associations.
