Better in smash 4 but they were broken cuz u could change their size and it just broke the meta. They're more balanced, more fun, and actually use skill in ultimate
360 Overdrive As a Little Mac main, I agree that Mac needs a buff. All I could really think of that he needs though is a recovery buff, and a slight buff to his overall range and speed. If his Up Tilt allowed him to hit people on platforms, and if he got his Side B back when he gets hit, then he would be a much, much better character. They also need to give him back his Down tilt Up B Jill confirm or something just as good and consistent. Down tilt Side B only works at the ledge and is harder to kill with when your opponent DIs correctly. More often than not, it becomes a 50/50, which are way worse in this game because of the DAD.
Thanks for the awesome video, I'm super interested in picking this character up as a secondary now. A thing I've tested and got to work is Fair 1 -> turn-around Utilt -> Uair at kill % or other moves at lower % for ~30% damage combos. For the kill confirm, it starts working around 85% on Inkling and you need to space the Fair 1 a bit away from them, so the reverse Utilt connects as late as possible, to have a true link into Uair. I do the turn-around Utilt with Tilt Stick and then hitting a very specific angle, which gives you an instant turn-around Utilt/Dtilt without using the control stick.
Great video dude. I used this to help my friend get better at Mii Swordfighter. I'm a Fox main, but Mii Swordfighter is my pocket character and this guide helped both me and my friend so much. Thank you for making this cause now we're both better than ever at Mii Swordfighter.
The chakram is an amazing projectile, while not being as ridicolous in smash4 a simple touch can leqve into a grab and the fast version is really good at dealing with heavy characters. Also going off stage with a soft chakram can gimp opponents or catch their jump, but it's risky against people like ike or chrom that can drag you with their up B. Honestly i have no problems with recovering so i don't think UB1 is the best choice
Was looking for something like this. i'm maining sword fighter cause i paid 25 bucks for that rex mii costume lol. Praying for rex to be DLC though but the mii will work for now.
Shuriken of Light is pretty good too. While not having any combos, it acts like a better version of Falco's lasers now. You can still get a ton of kill confirms and 70% combos with Chakram. So basically, turn Swordfighter into Link.
Thanks for this video. I am a swordfighter main myself and I agree that he is a monster. I got the hang of swordfighter but wanted to learn some more combos. I think I figured out a combo that works from 0-15% (It isn't true if they tech but you can catch people sleeping on it and it does a lot of damage). You down through, footstool, fast fall, jab lock. Tilted Chakram, down through, up air. You can even use another tilted chakram at the beginning but I did not include it because it would be tough fighting up close to try and land tilted chakram between 0-15%. Hopefully you see this and use the combo!
It’s good to see more Mii videos. I’ve always been a supporter of Mii Fighters, and I’m glad to see someone actually pull through with one of them and show what they can do. Mii Swordfighter is insane in this game and it makes me so happy to know that they’re finally getting some love from both the devs and the community.
Blurring blade neutral B is actually really powerful as well for ledge guarding, can also reverse it while charging to scare people into rolling and turning to catch them
Had a tourney w/ friends today, made a mii swordfighter, named it Yasuo, and yelled hasagi every time I used gale strike. I actually did pretty well, and it was hilarious

uncharged Gale Stab (Side B 2) can be true comboed from any aerial from low to mid percents. not as useful as the other setups, but kinda neat to get some extra %.
OMG I'm not the only one I've been bodying my friends with sword fighters ridiculously consistent kill confirms combos and setups , I used to play lucina but this character just feels so much better as a sword character for some reason
Great video, I can't wait to play Mii Swordsman more. I loved them in Smash 4, but they were so... bad lol. Might I suggest a video on Chakram combos? That move is amazing as well! Also, make use of Miitopia music, after all its in the game and has some amazing music for a mii game!
I love how with any of miis you can have endless skins just make the same move setup but different design and boom you have endless possibilities. I main sword fighter and I'm afraid everyone is going to find out he's really good soon.
Glad someone else noticed this, I used this character quite a bit and I was telling myself that he could'nt be bad with those ridiculous kill confirms yet kot body was talking about it xp
Wow I still haven’t made a mii fighter in Ultimate yet mainly because of how pathetic they were in smash 4. I’ll finally try them out now because of this video!
Chakram looks like a really cool zoning projectile too, with the fast long range variation and the slow, short range, multihit variation that can both be angled up or down
Really nice that MiiS got buffed I used in Smash 4 the multithrust neutral B for dmg, Shield pressure and it usually combos out of jab. Chakram, the slash dash for better recovery and the thrust for quick land(despite not being safe) and because it combos a bit with chakram, specially the multihit throw. The Down B pseudo cape is good too. Can you make an analysis of the Miis? Specially the Swordfighter. If possible, can you cover all the Specials as well?
You don't always needs Hero Spin, I would say it's more matchup dependent. Skyward Slash Dash is a fantastic recovery move and functions well as a surprise attack and whiff punishing move. It's really nice since our dash attack goes nowhere. It won't really kill onstage but has very little endlag and can force a tech situation and lead to followups. Definitely worth considering on Swordfighters.
Nair into slow chakram can lead into so many things. If you hit slow chakram, you can basically get anything for for free, whether that be moves or combos.
My favorite attack is air 2 A, because you can turn it into a damaging, low to the ground advancing attack by sliding your thumb from X to A while doing a quarter motion from side to down on the stick. Facing right = Jump6 - 3 - A2 in one swift motion. You can *influence* the direction of the enemy launch by moving in the opposite direction. It's just an anti-newb attack, but... I came up with it, so...... I like it.
I recommend side special 1 (Airborne assault) because it can kill a medium weight (mario) from %115 and up. It doesn't kill if your opponent are too close to the center of the stage but if your opponent moves a little to the left or right and then you use it, the move can kill. (Sorry I'm new to smash and I'm not that knowledgeable about smash terminology)
Is there a default or recommended height and size for Mii SF? I notice it effects speed and weight of the fighter I was hoping if someone knew the tournament standard
Thanks for talking about my main, he's not the best fighter but he is really fun to play with. So he did get some buffs, though I wish his Final Smash was buffed. Btw: I made two Mii Swordfighters, one has my favorite moves (3121), which is my main. The other one has other moves I use (1233), and it has the Kill Confirm.
The mii swordfighter is my main too. Here is the specials I use : Neutral B: 1 Side B : 2 Up B : 3 Down B : Counter (I think counter is better than the 2nd down B)
Nice video! Learned quite a bit of stuff from this so I'm hoping to integrate it into my Swordfighter. I'm maining him as well along with Mii Brawler (Though I can tell Swordie is def the best of the bunch). One thing I've gotta suggest though is that you should really look into Chakram. I was using Airborn assault at first because I too, valued recovery. It covers great distance and feels like it's needed in order to use Hero spin. However, it's start up takes way too long, it goes in a completely straight line, and it feels like it can be intercepted by just about any single aerial. It just feels telegraphed and useless, and if you HAVE to use it to recover.... then you're probably already dead. Chakram, on the other hand, is a super fast projectile that can also be angled upwards. Unlike Tornado, this projectile can actually be used to zone pretty effectively. Don't get me wrong, Tornado is an amazing move, but its slow and can be shielded/avoided pretty easily in neutral. This gives you a tool that lets you camp people and force them to approach you, whether they're also zoners or not. I even find it useful as a recovery tool because I can throw it out to prevent my opponents from attempting to edgegaurd me. And as I said before, because it can angle, you can throw it upwards at opponents who are on platforms or are jumping in on you. It just feels like such an important neutral tool that it's worth giving up the side B recovery for. Not askin ya to change, but I'd highly recommend giving it another try in some games before not using it.
Nice!

ITS THE JIGGLYMASTER HIMSELF!
Love the miis
Don't let this video distract you from the fact that Mr. Krabs once sold Spongebob's soul for 62 cents.
