    Today The Remote Trip crew visited the Yangmingshan National Park north of Taipei and hiked the famous Mount QiXing (or Seven Star Mountain).
    It took us around an hour to travel from Taipei to Yangmingshan through taking the MRT (subway) Red Line to the Jiantian Station and then the Red #5 bus from the Jiantian Station to the final stop: Yangmingshan.
    The hike itself was gorgeous and a combination of different foliage, elevation and I'll take you through the exact route we took in this video so you can enjoy this spectacular hike!

      I went in April of last year. Temperature-wise it should be fine. Taipei doesn't get too cold probably coldest 10 degrees Celsius but that's rare too.

    Is there a bus stop near Xiaoyoukeng visitor center going to Beitou or Jiantan station?

      I'm not sure (can't remember where Xiaoyoukeng is). But we took the bus from the Jiantan station to Yangmingshan National Park

    How long did the whole hike take? Like dropping off from the bus and to going down the mountain?

    • @TheRemoteLifestyle
      @TheRemoteLifestyle  6 лет назад

      From getting off the bus to completing the hike it was around 3-4 hours. It does take up to an hour to get to the National Park from Taipei if you are taking public transportation.

      @TheRemoteLifestyle  7 лет назад +1

      We started around 10am and we got back at like 5pm. We did take a few long breaks along the way though!
