Going to be heading to taiwan this month to study there for my master’s for 4 months. I am super excited! Thank you for this great video! Super useful.
thank you for the video, i was excited when i booked the tickets but so nervous now that i’ll be going so soon. will try my best to take your tips and really embrace the country
I was there during the major Earthquake last year. I was on the opposite side of the island so it was a minor rumble for me but I was at the epicentre a few days previously. First experience of an Earthquake so was kinda crazy.
Your video is so organized & exact to the point..! Would you recommend reserving SIM Card in KLOOK & pick up in Taoyuan Aiport? Or simply buy SIM directly in the airport? We have luggages & kids so trying not to wait & stuck in long lines !
@@PhatLifeProject my phone isn't eSIM capable so I will purchase SIM when arriving. Your video gives everyone confidence and what to expect. Well done ! 💯
Hi! Thank you for this video! We’re interested in buying a single journey MRT ticket from the airport to the main station and the vlogs that we’ve watched so far shows the vending machine for the purple tokens. We were wondering how do we get the full trip value of a token (NTD160) when the vending machines only give out up to NTD60? For this do we need to go and line up at the ticket counter? Thanks again!
This was amazing! so Helpful! CABS - how do we pay Cabs from the Airport? Do they use Credit Cards? Cash? or Easy Pay? Also, can you purchase Easy Pay cards at the airport and how do you top them off (also with CASH or can you with a Credit Card?) thanks!
You are so welcome im glad it was helpful! You can pay cabs either with cash, credit card or Easy Pay if you already have it Easy Pay card can be purchased at the mrt station at the airport =)
When charging your power bank, you showed some weird 3 prong plug. You should clarify that Taiwan uses basically the same 2 prong (or 3 prong grounded) plug and 110 volts as the United States (and other countries as well).

Do I need to buy a SIM card in Taiwan? I think my T-Mobile plan on my Samsung phone can still work overseas but idk if the speed is good. Would inserting the SIM card mess up my T-Mobile plan?

Always love seeing Taiwan videos but one thing that drives me crazy is when RUclipsrs says Taipei=Taiwan: Taipei - Seoul - Tokyo Taiwan - S. Korea - Japan Please stop saying going to Taipei is like going to Korea or Japan. Taipei is just a small part of Taiwan. Nobody says going to Tokyo is like visiting Japan, so visiting Taipei is not seeing Taiwan and Taipei is just a fraction of what everything Taiwan has to offer.

This is very helpful information! Thank you! How much cash would you recommend having on hand for a week of travel?
you're very welcomed and depends! taiwan can be very cheap if you just stick to night markets and convenience stores
Can you share suggestions for travel into city of Taipei if coming into TSA-Songshan? Trains, express bus or cab?

There always an "Information Counter" at the entrance of MRT station. You can ask the staff to help you. No worries. 😊

Just remember. It ALWAYS rains in Taipei
Which recommended place to stay in Taiwan for the first-time visitor?

64. Not terrible. The mathematically impossible result still eludes me.
I just wonder have you been in Taipei? I don't see anything you was there.
There’s an entire Taipei playlist on my channel with places to eat in Taipei with me in it - feel free to watch all of them to see me in it xx ❤️❤️
