“THE BIG BLOWOUT” - Hurricane Harry, "the greatest wind bag on earth" threatens to blow down the cities of the world unless he gets a million-dollar ransom. Cool tracks Hurricane to his island, but Harry blows him down, ties him to the tail of his kite, and blows it aloft.
"THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA HOUSE" - Enrico Paisan and Katrinka Kalorie, opera stars, are plagued by a horrible and mysterious voice. The Komedy Kops are called in and disguise themselves as spear carriers in an attempt to stop the Phantom.
"FINE FEATHERED FIENDS" - The Owl and his henchwoman, The Pussycat, organize the birds of the nation into a crime syndicate. Even the peacock of a certain T.V. network has joined. Number One assigns McCool, who stalks the Owl, but winds up as his prisoner in a bird cage.

Man this is nice! I can see that the people who made this show had a lot of fun in making it, with the funny ways he gets thrown out of No.1's office, the phantom being a hilariously bad singer, etc. Would've definitely loved this show back in my childhood days!

I love the gag where mr. Hurricane Harry blows his wind at The Statue of Liberty 🗽 & The Eiffel Tower🗼 tilted sideways & The Leaning Tower Of Pisa straighten and the cops 👮 👮‍♂️ 👮‍♀️ in 🇺🇸🇫🇷 America, France & Italy 🇮🇹 yelled at their predicament @ 1:21-1:44.

Given that this was an original programming from NBC, it made sense to put their own mascot in one of their shows, especially in the very first episode of this series just to tell us that it's brand new. Or just to promote their new logo since the 'Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color' episode "Adventures in Color", which also marked the first appearance of Ludwig Von Drake (voiced by Paul Frees). And let's be honest: this cartoon version of the 1962 NBC peacock was much cuter in comparison to the actual one, which continued to scare me whenever I see it by accident, either on DeviantArt or RUclips.

I've just finished binge watching Land of the Lost which I never saw as a kid because I was watching this on on another channel. Jean Chalopin must have been a fan because there are all sorts of elements that made their way into Inspector Gadget. Also Harry McCool is the spitting image of Uncle Grampa.

Oh, I remember: Yes, saw this the first time around in the mid-1960s. What's cool to look back on is the stuff I obviously was too young to catch: the broad satire everything from the Keystone Kops to the Pop Art era, not to mention James Bond and Adam West-era Batman, and maybe Dick Tracy? The humor was both slapstick and surprisingly sly all at once. ("And, my License to Kill…if only I had a license to drive!") And, that slick intro…for the rough, low-buck animation of the time, they paced some cool touches in if you look for tham.
