Beautiful tie Ruben. I love the Stimulator. Along with the Adams it's one of the best known dry flies. A bit involved to tie but a joy to use. Thanks!

Hi Ruben! I saw a picture of a stimulator on Pinterest that had a very buggy and well tyed look to it today. It was from RUclips so I paid the site a visit and discovered it was from you! I share your admiration and respect for Randall Kaufmann, as much as my respect and admiration for YOUR tying and fishing skills and knowledge. I'm familiar with that winging method when tying streamers but I don't remember using it when I tie this fly. Watching you tie this inspires me to tie more stimulators and a few variations that I've thought of for some bugs I've seen in the early season where I do most of my trout fishing (maybe they're early stoneflies?). Anyway thanks for your tutalidge, I always learn something and I'm always entertained as well thanks to Leandro. Abrazo grande my friends! 👏👏👏👏 Bravo!

interesting method for tying the deer hair wing. Is that to ensure it stays on top? Clever... I learnt a lot watching this. Thanks.

Fantastic, until the black lacquer. I think it would have been better to use a clear. In my opinion of course. Great tying though. You have more guts than I do. I don't like to tape my tying. I always find something wrong with it so I am my worst critic. Thanks for sharing. All the best, Sean
