Nathaniel Hackett should be fired.
The only Coach they have who has Experience Coaching Aaron Rodgers ?
@@BengalsBillsFan2015 Trying to appease Aaron Rodgers is the reason the Jets are in this bad position. Aaron Rodgers had more control than Robert Saleh.
I wholeheartedly concur with that statement.@@atumre4705
Rogers had something to do with that I bet
yeah great point, this is what he brings to the table. i notice things curious things happen whenever rogers is close. he's very into how he is percieved. he probably loves the new york life style and the media he can twist them whenever the mood suits him. if he put in as much effort at that behind the scenes backstabbing he does he could have defeated brady in that championship game.
'
i forgot what a real creep he is. clubhouse killer.
i thought belichick may go to NY but on the lite of what you just said. i doubt it.
Aaron looks 41 and Zac Wilson was trash 🗑. Saleh is a better coach than the jets deserve.
Ima go out on a limb and say somebody got the keys to the castle AND THE DUNGEON . AR comes to mind.
Dam his chrome dome was shiny vs vikes we usually win thoise games. Im superstitious like that
Aaron Rogers fires first coach
This is what u call unexpected walking papers. His chrome dome was shiny. They should of won
Rodgers got the keys to the castle and the dungeon. That shit obvious
They gotta polish travis jordan quick 😂.
Maybe he can get his job as Xerxes in 300 back if they do a sequel
Slow clap
All I got to say is that the 49ers would love to have him back 😏👀👀
Maybe they will (as a "special assistant" this season even)
Who hired Hackett?
Who drafted Wilson?
Who traded for Reddick?
Who elevated Wilson to back up Rodgers last year?
Who brought in Boyle and Simean as QB depth additions. I’m not saying that Salah wasn’t to blame, but not for the entire mess.
That what happens when you hook your wagon to Aaron Rodger’s.
I am a vikings fan & think this was very very foolish . Why would you fire him ? He is a good coach it has only been 5 games into the year . The JETS OC IS TRASH ! Robert could join our coaching staff !
20-36 is good coaching? Alright lol
@@overkllassasin249*Youre a goofball if you think it’s that black n white..*
@@overkllassasin249He’s a defensive minded coach. They currently have the number 2 defensive in the league. Seems dumb. Should have been the offensive coordinator.
I didn’t expect this to happen this early in the season, but something had to be done. Now, it’s all about everyone doing their job, from the players to the coaches. It’s entirely up to them to turn things around, otherwise this Jets organization will continue to live in misery
This coach should not be fired let him finish the season the jets are only 2-3 stop firing coaches in the middle of the season
i agree, big mistake. i doubt belichick will come here if u treat coaches this way.
Some say they fired him at this time because of the Lebanese flag on his arm. Speculation not confirmed.
@@randomflagg7331 its the Jets nothing should surprise you. Rodgers got the keys to the castle and obviously the dungeon to.
Its the Jets. Its what they do. It wouldn't surprise me 1 bit if they bring him back and say they were only kidding.
Saleh said ill take everybody in this loxkeroom over anybidy. He gonna flip that burger quick . Dont blink or u gonna miss it.
Heads are rolling . I see more heads in the bowling alley . Hackett cant even droo pins. There guttle balls
Lions' fan here. I like Robert Saleh and think he is a good coach. He seems to have a good relationship with his players. It took Dan Campbell some time to turn things around here in Detroit.
Breece Hall never scores, Rodgers looks stressed, all the pressure on the defense..Saleh would be a great coach in college with the defense mentality 🫡
The Jets lost to Sam Darnold. THATS why Saleh got fired. They lost to their former #3 overall draft pick.
Robert Saleh didn't throw 3 interceptions, including a pick 6 lol 🤣😂. Aaron Rodgers got him fired.
I really wonder if Aaron Rodgers threw 3 interceptions to get Saleh fired.....
Jets fan. I was in love with the hire initially. Loved the energy he brought and thought it matched the makeup of the team, but that never transitioned. The team was completely undisciplined and made crucial mistakes at inopportune times.
with you 100%
I agree too. Saleh is an excellent DC, but not HC. With that said, I think Hackett and Keith Carter (OL coach) are much worse.
Knee-jerk reaction by the Jets. How can you put this on the coach when Rogers threw three interceptions, including one on the final drive when they were going in for the score. Coach had the defense playing great and it was up to Rogers to make the offense click which he did not.
Acquiescence to the children in uniforms. 👶👶
karen rodgers got saleh and mike mccarthy fired..
2-3 firing! This is unusual. I’m not sure about the reasons outlined in this video.
Seems dysfunctional. Rodgers is coming off a serious injury, and is just now adjusting to playing real games with the Jets. They beat TEN and division rival NE (24-3), and they lost to SF (widely regarded as a good team) in the first game and MIN (a surprising 5-0 with wins over SF, HOU 34-7, and GB). There are 7 teams with 1 win, 9 other teams with 2 wins, and NYJ are only 1 game behind division leaders BUF (who've lost their last 2 games against BAL and HOU). As they said in the video, a win against BUF will give the NYJ the division lead.
If you look at franchises that have been successful for several years or even decades, most of them have had stability at head coach - if not also with offensive and defensive coordinators. Firing head coaches in the first half of seasons has not been common among successful franchises. I seriously doubt that this will clearly prove to help the Jets make and be successful in the playoffs, or even just make the playoffs. They may have made the playoffs anyway. Or they may have not made the playoffs anyway. But this seems like a panicky PR move more so than a good football decision. They're 2-3, not 0-5 or 1-4. SMH
💯
I wonder if Aaron Rodgers threw 3 interceptions to get Saleh fired.....
The fact he put the Lebanese flag on had *nothing* to do with it? Look, if it didn’t, it’s at least super bad timing…
Except for the fact that the corporate NFL -- a TERRIBLY "woke" outfit from top to bottom, and permeating throughout (except for isolated pockets) -- no doubt applauded the wearing of the Lebanese flag ... ABA: Anything BUT America (except for the NFL's pretend patriotism with their marketing pageant "Salute to Service" around Veterans Day).
Saleh hung a Lebanese flag inside Jets property? Than that POS had 2 go! He's a traitor 2 his players, his country, the NFL & every Jew in America!
I’m not so sure that’s factual.
Rodgers must be ecstatic!
He's a cheerleader not a coach. Great move!
Joe Douglas has the worst record of all GMs in the last 6 years..... FACT !
As a Miami Dolphins long suffering fan, I have thanked God for the Jets the last 25 years since Marino because nothing feels worse than you sucking and your bitter rivals having a clue... We can always count on the Jets being a hotter mess than us.... Defense OK, Offense sucks= fire the defensive minded head coach! God bless the Jets!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!
Was not expecting this headline. Damn that’s foul lmao
This guy making shit up why didnt he report this stuff before
Had to happen but the misery of being a fan of this team will never end. Go get Vrbael or give Ben Johnson a blank check for next year.
You had better not steal Ben Johnson from us here in Detroit!
All this fuss about a nothing happening team. The Jets wanted that diva, they got him
Saleh was fired because he wore the Lebanon patch. Pissed off the unmentionables. He should’ve been canned last year.
Are the unmentionables the evil jews? So evil they hired him just so they could fire him in the middle of the season ? That was a solid evil plan. No holes in the plot
Everybody is a victim. 😂
@@NomenClature-o8s That’s anti-Semetic.
@@NomenClature-o8s don’t be anti-Se mitic
Arron Rodgers just as bad
This is just another bad decision by the owner who drafted the QB out of BYU and it’s obvious that Roger’s is past it.
As a fan?I honestly am not surprised. They only have a window of opportunity with Rodgers as QB and need to capitalize on that. They clearly felt that they couldn’t achieve the success they want with their current coach.Wishing the man well💚✈️
ARod is washed. He’s the issue
Perhaps if the game were in the U.S. the Jets would have done better though it would have been a home game for the Vikings. I am tired of this out of the country garbage. That type of travel is hard on players IMO.
So is Nathaniel Hackett gonna be the head coach? We've seen that story before LOL! 😂
IT'S AT THIS MOMENT THE JETS REALIZED THEY TRULY FD UP
I bet Zach Wilson is laughing rn or not
This is the 2nd coach on two teams that has been fired with Rogers as THE QB. Not players it's a player. This again is on Rogers. He's a selfish entitled, not held accountable for anything. It's always someone else's fault.
In 20 years two coaches were fired? Thats not a storyline. ML is still coach in GB
I have seen a couple of interviews with Rodgers recently after losses. He has taken the blame to some extent to which I was surprised.
That guy at 17 seconds in says the Jets had "post seaon admirations"
It’s ARod. Period. He’s the problem
@@Alowarbay24 good coach or not, can’t win with a shitty QB who takes no accountability & who is just not good enough. They have given him everything he wanted, including his choice for OC, but their offense is trash. ARod Stan’s will never admit to the fact that he’s washed. Yall will blame someone or something else until the end.
They've been saying the same thing for years
Yah... And Hackett's still there. Gotta be good from here I guess
Long time coming. He wasn’t HC material.
post season ASPIRATIONS? what?
Wow I was writing a different comment and I heard the players and coach relationship was tense, then that could make sense it makes more sense than his performance. He did well he had alot of bad injuries happen while he was coach
If the offensive line can't protect the QB, it doesn't matter
That’s Deshuan Watson issue, no?
Scapegoat.
Saleh is an excellent Coach.
he's not a good head coach
Where is the proof?
Joe Douglas has the worst record of all GMs in the last 6 years..... 29-59. He gets spared ?

Dude didnt have any chance last year and hes gone after this? Crazy
Selah doesn’t have a great record. Not surprising because they don’t want to waste AR’s time there.
Joe Douglas has the worst record of all GMs in the last 6 years..... 29-59
Have hope Jets' fans! Detroit started out 1-6 in 2022 and finished 9-8 almost making the playoffs. The season is long... One game at a time!
Vikings know how 2 break Rodgers. Didn't they know that b4 the game? That is humiliating. Probably a Neurotic Mob hit job.
Want to defeat Aaron Rodgers?Cover slants, and go routes.
Head coaches are not tacticians. They inspire and motivate. If he pissed off the players, he goes.
Zac Taylor needs to be in the next NFL coach to go
Please say this is the time Rick Neuheisel comes back as head coach
They need to give Rex Ryan a call. And get his brother on defense
The timing of this move was strategic and a truly LEGITIMATE attempt to win the AFC East (and thereby get into the playoffs at least while Rodgers is still playing). It might have also been the necessary "last domino" to fall to convince Davante Adams to re-join Rodgers.
The facts of the matter are these:
1) The Bills are riddled with injuries, have no legitimate "NFL caliber" receiving corps, are presently REELING, and are EXTREMELY VULNERABLE -- especially now
2) Record-wise, at present the AFC East is still wide open and there for the Jets' taking; even with two consecutive disappointing losses that arguably could/should have been victories (or at worst a split), the Jets are 2-3 and only 1 game outside of 1st place in the division with a golden opportunity with an extra day and a half's rest to seize said 1st place in the division by winning this upcoming home game against the Bills. The Jets traditionally have a top-notch defense that gives even healthy Bills teams great difficulty, and by winning Monday night the Jets and Bills will each be 3-3 with the Jets owning the head-to-head tie-breaker (and the Bills having a "more difficult" schedule throughout the remainder of the season by virtue of their 1st-place finish in the division last year). Also, Miami has just improved their divisional record to tighten things up a bit, so the time to make the strategic change for the Jets is NOW.
3) Typically, MOST teams respond quite well in the immediate aftermath of a coach's firing; the shake-up usually ignites a fire under the team -- especially if they didn't "like" the fired coach that much.
4) Assuming the Jets not only win on Monday night (to claim 1st place in the AFC East, thereby suddenly flipping the script on the entire season and instilling hope), but also downright embarrass the Bills on national TV while doing so (which is entirely possible), that sort of victory could well prove to be a catalyst to several other events favorable to the Jets:
(a) Suddenly, the Jets wake up on Tuesday morning and it's a "completely brand new season" with a clean slate and the Jets starting in 1st place within the division with THEMSELVES as MASTERS OF THEIR OWN DESTINY going forward. That builds tremendous belief and resolve within a team for retaining 1st place in the division ... and "winning" said division by the end of the regular season not only guarantees a playoff berth, but also at least one home game in the playoffs ... and once in the playoffs, "anything can happen."
(b) It might convince Davante Adams to make the Jets his preferred trade destination (which in turn makes the Jets that much more of a threat to the entire AFC and will likely rejuvenate Aaron Rodgers as well for a final run at a Super Bowl);
(c) A crushing victory over the Bills might very well send the Jets' primary competition for the AFC East into an early season protracted tailspin from which they can't/won't recover (or certainly at least not until several more games deeper into the season ... by which time the Jets will have the opportunity to have built a sufficiently comfortable "pad" over the Bills W-L record such that the Bills can't "catch" the Jets for the division crown even IF the Bills managed to win their re-match later in the season)
(d) A crushing Bills loss MIGHT also even send the Bills into COMPLETE DISARRAY for the remainder of this entire season (i.e., well beyond a recoverable "tailspin" such that the Bills might fire Sean McDermott, who is already under tremendous fire for YET ANOTHER HORRENDOUS, BONE-HEADED, late game CLOCK MISMANAGEMENT of a contest the Bills "COULD" have "pulled out of the fire" and won this past Sunday). Bills fans are tiring of McDermott's penchant for terribly costly clock mismanagement costing the Bills critical games (and ending too many Bills seasons early) -- year after year after year; many Bills fans are coming to believe that Josh Allen's prime career is being wasted by a head coach who, ESPECIALLY AT CRUNCH TIME in key games appears to "choke" through incompetent decisions. .
Embarrassed Woody (A former ambassador for the UK) in London ìn front of all his wealthy and connected friends. Salah got fired before he got on the plane back to the states.
Jets are not going anywhere.
If the jets want to win they need to get a 7 time Super Bowl winning coach.
Saleh is not the problem. It is the organization.
There is a reason why Sam Darnold, Geno Smith and others do better elsewhere. The organization is poisoned from the top all the way down.
There is a reason why the Jets draft a QB in the 2nd round, one that is not talented enough to ever play in the NFL (Christian Hackenberg)
There is no one head coach that can save this organization. They fire a head coach after week 5 with a 2-3 record. Only the NY Jets organization would do such a moronic thing.
The entire thing has to be dismantled and it starts with Woody Johnson
Saleh was a good coordinator, he'll land somewhere soon.
Come on, he is too handsome to be fired.
Don’t looks count anymore!
The “count” is not infinite. Seems like a dumb decision, hansome or not.
Because he is Lebanese, only reason
Jews owner fired him
And why they hired him
Why did it take so long?😮 This guy was Adam Gase all over again.🤨
I'm impressed with the Jets organization. It took cajones to fire him now, although in my opinion it was overdue and the right call.
Really the right call , now who you gonna hire genius? He wasn't the problem that washed up overrated 41 year old diva is the problem and he is still on the team let's see if they automatically get better now that salaeh is gone I bet they don't then who's fault will it be ?
@@lydiablake-simon7555 We will see indeed. I bet they get better and even make the playoffs.

I would have thought that after the Favre debacle Jets would have learned. We send our has been Quarter Backs to Jets, still haven’t learned.
I would hate to work for NYJeys organization. They seemed to be the problem here.
Did this have something to do with him wearing a Lebanese flag ?
Bring him to Baltimore. Our defense could sure use some help.
If only the Yankees would fire Aaron Boone
How much does Sam Darnold playing good have to do with this?
Mr.Mushroom cleans house.
Get Bill in there!!!
Post season “admirations”

Aaron Rogers fired the Coach
They should've dumped Rodgers instead
Oh now its the offense line for Roger but when come to Willson is all his fault...
Get a new QB and make Rodgers the coach... He knows EVERYTHING! 😆

Saleh should've been let go end of last season. 2 little, 2 late. Same old Jets, a day late, a dollar short.
Wow. Should’ve after last season
The fix was in, after Rogers pushed Saleh after that touchdown. Saleh is the scapegoat for a washed up QB.
fire rodgers and who ever signed him.
Aaron Rodgers...Brett Favre all over again.
Holding the Jets back from what or where: someplace they have not been since Joe Namath. Jets are just???

This is because the flag he wore

Team all in on a 40 yr old Q-back coming back after missing a year after the Zach Wilson fiasco. The entire team a mess & this starts with the worst GM in the NFL, Joe Douglas. Douglas should've followed Saleh out the door. However my guess, Douglas will not be with the Jets next year. DOUGLAS CAN'T DRAFT A BEER.

That's what happens team does terrible the head coach gets fired
that’s an organization that’s just rotten to its core….. everything that has to do with that team is just rotten..😂
Aaron rodgers as iterim head coach
Rodgers sucks anyways, 1 super bowl , 14 years ago. 12-10 playoff record. 1-4 nfc championship games, he is not the savior for any team. Everything is everybody elses fault. Rodgers sucks! Jets need to stop hiring washed up QB's that are passed their prime and giving them big money.
