1976 - The end of childrens programmes and a short section of an open university programme on.... The Test Card. The guys know their stuff, but they'd never get in front of a camera now
Eureka 4: Play the Game repeat broadcast Tuesday 12th July 1983. Open University programme likely to be module T321 Telecommunication Systems. Paul Middleton has also posted on his RUclips channel another OU programme from this module.
Summer was best. Co channel interference. One year a BBC 2 Belmont transmitter found the PTT Holland signal stronger so lamped it all over the Yorkshire region for several hours
I wonder why they bothered editing in the black bar that's covering up the BBC TV logo on the test card when it's in full screen. I guess it might have been a technical requirement for programs never to show a complete test card?

Eureka! has such a great theme tune.
Very catchy. This clip is from 1982.
Now why did I think it was Jigsaw?!
I wish my name was Clive Doig. I’d be unstoppable.
I certainly would be where Pascal King was concerned!
mb video selection and it was the Eighties, so it was all ok then.
You have to thank god for digital television that it ended that bloody ghosting. I'm a poor reception area you'd see aboit 6 clocks 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Might be that they were BBC for Open University so maybe had to blot it out
Marvellous
A very short Test Card explanation.
That episode of Eureka at the start has to be 1986 not 1976 if it was hosted by Wulf Lunn?
BroadcastRevolution OU programmes had a LONG repeat lifespan. Although the OU prog was made in 1976 the date I recorded it would be much later
Looks like 1982 from the roman numerals. It's a bit hazy but I'm seeing MCMLXXXII
The ending is just..... no no no no no no its creepy
I was given this episode a while ago, its available here ruclips.net/video/yvD5cTORgb4/видео.html
