- While most restaurants in America are shuttered, restaurateur Bruno Serato, of Anaheim, Calif., is feeding more people today than ever before during this pandemic. Twice a week, cars line up by the hundreds, many of whom can only afford to pay Serato with a “thank you.” Steve Hartman reports.

Bruno started by feeding spaghetti to children living in motels .Most heart breaking thing I heard him say is a lot of children dont like their spaghetti with sauce on it , they had never had sauce on spaghetti. Every year radio 640fki, has a fund raiser for Bruno's . It goes for 12 hours. Take these five loaves... and he does.🌹

Most people would say that Bruno Serato's generosity epitomizes that which is best in America. // The typical bean-counting businessman would call him a fool or a socialist for giving away so much. // Which group do you belong in? Are we becoming more or less humanitarian in the CoVid19 era?
While I have seen a few acts of kindness and humanity on television (or RUclips) during the pandemic, I have yet to personally experience it. I have witnessed the opposite to be honest. Either way you look at it, perseverance is key.
@@daphnelattimer9952 To do what one knows is right is a sign that someone still has the lessons of a good upbringing intact. The "me-first" mentality that arises in grocery store wrangling over things like toilet paper shows that people have lost (or are losing) a sense of community. I live in a neighborhood where people freely give away durable food items with no conditions, so I know I am among some good people.

So, help me understand this... all these people "in need" are all overweight...??? Everyone they show isn the vehicles waitinf for free food is overweight...even the children...there is something very wrong here.
Pasta noodles has to be the most abundant food source in the US. It’s also the cheapest, has less nutrients, & has an indefinite shelf life. And it doesn’t help that most activities & jobs consist of sitting inside, on one’s bum.
The cheapest foods are the worst nutritionally. Poor people being overweight isn't a new thing.
