I read about the Disney proposal when it happened. That Disney employee got in big trouble, especially considering the boyfriend was given permission by another employee. Disney has apologized and I think they offered to let them REDO the proposal as if that could even be possible.
Yeah, that can NEVER be redone. Ruined for life.

My hubby was going to propose on a hot air balloon until the owner advised against it because people had dropped the ring ~way up in the sky~ before. He recommended proposing on solid ground and then doing the air balloon ride. Good advice! 😂

My husband proposed to me back in 2017. We were at the Bakersfield Anime Con and we entered the cosplay contest. I was Xion and he was Roxas from Kingdom Hearts. Already in the fandom, these two are a shipped couple. Everyone already loved them. When my husband proposed, everyone freaked out in the audience. Then the owner of the convention came up to us, congratulated us, and then said he was an ordained minister and was willing to marry us and offer us the venue to get married for free! However, we stayed engaged for 2 years before we actually got married.
We got married at Bakersfield Comic Con and had a full Corpse Bride cosplay wedding (even did the Corpse Bride vows). The guys were all in blacks and greys for the Land of the Living and I had my girls do their version of Dead makeup for the Land of the Dead. I walked to The Imperial March (Darth Vader's theme) from Star Wars. It was certain a wedding I loved and a wedding I will never forget! We will have been 3 years married November 16th!
Did I forget to mention I got to meet John Wesley Shipp THE FLASH at my wedding reception? How many people can say they have met a celebrity at their wedding?

The couple in the Disney proposal was actually on the characters dance stage which is fenced off . The cast members wasn't being horrible he was doing his job by removing them. Just happened to be the wrong way of doing it .
True but he could've waited until the moment passed and then escorted them off. He really did lack common sense by interrupting the proposal simply because they were standing somewhere they shouldn't be... it's not like they were endangering anyone. It was plain rude and the guy knew what was happening if he grabbed the ring right out of his hand. Pretty bad character personality if you ask me to have no consideration of an important life moment.
I read they were in the fireworks set up area, so it wasn't safe.
it was an unsafe area & just before the show started. They could of been injured. Also multiple cast member had asked them to get down & so one had to intervene. The couple new what they were doing was wrong & didn't care. The cast member kept them safe and kept the show from being cancelled for thousands of people just because of 2 selfish idiots 🙄

The Disneyland proposal the reason the employer stepped in is because guests are not supposed to be up there because it’s a stage for the performers and they are a bunch of pyro technics up there aswell so it serves him right
Was looking to comment the same thing, the couple wasn't even supposed to be up there as you said its a stage for employees and letting them go thru with the proposal will cause others to think it's okay to just go anywhere in the park as such
And this is the problem! There are so many places at disney, safe to propose and the team-members will help you get a very magical moment. He did his job. These people did not have permission to be there and the staff member did his job to keep the guests safe. He was polite in a way and gave the ring back.
There are fireworks on this stage. They would have sued, if they would have gone hurt! So everything was done right. These people knew full well, that they were not suppossed to be there.

@@AditiNair14 doubt, everything else ive seen on this couple says they never had permission nor signed anything to be able to access private areas like the stage. They would have some sort of proof they were allowed which would be an easy clear up on their part but thats not been the case unless new info has come around very recently
Actually, the guy proposing got permission from the Disney staff. This guys either didn’t get the memo or didn’t care.

About the Disneyland proposal, it´s the couples fault. They broke the rules and still went into an area that is forbidden to the public even after being told no… so yeah they had it coming. The park employee was just doing its job.
Thank you, I came to say the thing. There are a ton of places you can propose at Disney but the stages and gated areas are completely off limits.

The man actually had full permission to use that spot to propose. They didn’t break the rules there’s a whole ass video explaining they had permission. The employee is in the WRONG.
Apparently it’s a big problem in Disneyland Paris which is where this is.

That second guy got more than he bargained for. He ended up w/ black eye from being hit w/ the apple, a torn meniscus from being tackled, and a fiancé.
The one at the Disney park where the guy took the ring and escorted them off the stage is because they were in a staff members-only area, off limits to guests. The stage was equipped with pyrotechnics and it was a liability for the guests to have been up there. While I think it could have been handled better, the guy was doing his job to get them back in the proper area for guests.
Actually that couple had permission to go on there that guy had asked in advance and told the plan so actually they were allowed to be there

Just for more cute I want to tell my proposal story. My husband and I went to the movies a lot it was a big part of dating for us. We went to the opening night of Mars Attacks and my husband dissapeared for a bit then we were watching the slide show (back in 1996) before the movies and a slide popped up saying Ariana, will you marry me. I saw it and it took a few seconds to react and when I looked at him he had a ring. I said omg like a million times while crying before saying yes. We had family there with us and the movie theater gave us pins and posters from the movie we still have. It was beautiful and a bit shocking. This year we celebrated 25 years married.
Was any one else hoping that Mike was going to propose at the end of the video because same 🤣🤣🤣

The Disney one was pretty big a while back, that couple was actually in a cast members only area and were not given permission to be there. True he went about it the wrong way, however that was a place that is cast members only and that could be a safety hazard honestly.
Y'all are SO ADORABLE! Mike seems like a sweet and patient boyfriend plus Love his iconic "Flock of Seagulls" hair. I think he is waiting till after Ro's baby nephew comes...anyways Mike should make the proposal spectacular, involve her sister and family creating the surprise, and involve fancy baking of some sort...🍰🎂🧁🍪🥧💯💘

Someone explained what happened with the Disney one, a cast member said yes to the proposal in front of the castle, but they weren’t meant to get up on the stage because it was a safety issue. That’s why he basically bolted in to get them off there. If one of them fell off the stage…yeah, Disney didn’t want to be liable for any injuries
It's not about falling. That particular stage was rigged with pyrotechnics for an upcoming show.

The disneyland paris one, the cast member had to send them out cause there was fireworks on the scene for the 30th anniversary. So it was more a security issue than a failed proposal.

On the Disney World one, the couple was standing on the stage where a show involving pyro effects was two minutes away from starting. The couple had gotten permission from park management beforehand, but that employee(or cast member as they're apparently called) was not informed. Even though he was doing his job, it was still pretty disrespectful for him to interrupt like that.

Ro, I don't think you were told this about the Disney proposal but apparently the guy who was proposing had gotten permission to propose on the stage.
Someone in comments of Phillip DeFranco saying that stage has fireworks. Idk if that true or not. I've been to Disneyland Paris but I don't remember that stage.
(Also he only asked another employee if he cld not the management but no one at Disney verified that he could go on stage or not so it could have been a new employee or something either way let them finish than escort them off dont snatch a ring that's psycho behavior)
@@SaintShion don’t propose in a gated off area after being told to get down multiple times and don’t be pissed when you get forced. They did not get permission to go in the fireworks area. The guy was just doing his job and keeping guests safe, if they got hurt he would’ve lost his job and been sued. The other guy is more of a psycho, a selfish one at that. There’s many other places in Disney that were allowed and safer, and probably a better view.
@@narutosraman Yeah honestly the whole thing was sus. An employee isn't going to get mad at Disney for no reason Im sure this stage has this issue often. I just meant the verocity in which the worker snatched the ring was crazy (not that he's crazy). I'd just waited for her to say yes and immediately say "hey you can't be here, please put the ring on over there"; don't touch their stuff. Cause cameras wld definitely be rolling on a purposal and people love to twist stories online.

At 2:49, the cast member at Disney took the ring away because this is a performance stage that isn’t supposed to be for guests. Also, at 7:56, when the giant wave came, I think that the man already planned for a small wave to come during the kiss (for an effect) but the wave ended up being to big and washed them away.😢
Edit: OK so apparently the couple at Disney asked ANOTHER cast member and got permission to go to that spot to propose but the cast member in the video just took the ring away! I think after the incident that cast member got in trouble.
