991v2 is a great silhouette. Hopefully they can add a 2E width version and drop the price to $200. One can hope, but that would make these more accessible for people. Great review as always 👍
Disagree, entirely unwearable for me. Went TTS and tried breaking them in but they pinched my pinky toe so badly I had a blister. Selling them and won’t buy another. My jjjjound is V1 is more roomy than my v2.
Absolutely love the Nimbus Cloud colorway. Missed on the 992 and regretted it. Wasn’t gonna make the same mistake again. Bought a couple of pairs from overseas before they released via SNS here in the US as I wasn’t sure they would. Regardless, I am super pumped to have this pair.
My complaint: camel-toe box. This often happens with New Balance. It’s where you get a crease or line in the middle of the front of the toe box. I was going to get myself the stone island 991s. Now I’m thinking about a different model as I’m worried I might buy a model that is susceptible to a camel-toe box.

if seango says its TTS the sneakers must be tight because i always go TTS on 990s and it always fit good.

No this way they stay more exclusive! The 991v2 is pure craftsmanship and quality. 3 pieces of tech in the sole.
Check out the New Balance Reconsidered site from time to time. The 991v2 can be had there for around $175-$200.
I would gladly pay the retail price if they offered a wider width but thats a pipe dream smh.

I remember passing on the nimbus 992 because it wasn’t the New Balance grey or a collab and have regretted it since. Think I’ll have to grab these

New Balance’s quality and comfort is unmatched. They make Nike’s look and feel like absolute garbage. They last way longer too.
Only the ones made in USA/uk/japan tho… the rest equally as bad quality wise

This nimbus color way. The 3m when they crispy; they pop. Then they age into a really nice subtle shoe.
Incredible product, v2’s are such an upgrade, perfection as usual from the “Made in” lines.
How did you get these shipped to you? They are still available on NB Europe site but I can’t get them shipped to the USA.
i copped from another smaller retailer that ships worldwide, not the nb website

8:25- the shoe on your left foot exhibits the camel-toe box defect.
I can’t thank you enough for helping to point this out! This is a common problem with 574s. I can’t believe they haven’t fixed it for 991s
