I miss Halo maps with interactive elements. I'm really happy to see you finished this and the absolutely amazing result. This deserves to be in matchmaking Squad Battle! The maps 343 releases are all just a bit too streamlined and too focused on always delivering "balanced" gameplay which is good for competitive matches but not always more fun for social.
dude the production quality of this video and the attention and detail you gave this map, this video should have a million likes and Terminus should be in matchmaking ASAP
This is awesome, man. The map itself is faithful yet still innovative in transitioning into Infinite's sandbox, but the amount of care and thought you put into every aspect really takes it to the next level. It's one thing to make the map, but it's a whole other thing to take the time to address how the differences between 2 and Infinite change how the map plays, and how to adjust the map for that. Your passion here is incredible, as well as your talent, and I hope we see this end up in matchmaking eventually. This would be amazing for Squad Battles or the (allegedly) upcoming BTB Forge playlist.

Man, I gotta say, this was one of the coolest Halo videos I have seen in a long time. Everything about the video and the map is so well detailed and thought out. Earned a sub instantly, and I can't wait to try out the map!

This is amazing dude, I wasn’t old enough to play halo 2 online but I definitely got to smash out all the campaigns. Thanks for bringing this old gem back for the players like me that just missed out on the og online experience and maps
I researched real world events mixed with Halo lore and tied them together with some fabricated events. I then wrote a script and used an AI voice generator to narrate. I wanted to show images from the real world and from the game, and the best way I could find to do that was to use AI to make all of the images look like oil paintings on canvases. I also used an AI image generator for a couple pictures to make them fit better. Some pictures are real, but have fake skylines in the background, etc... Glad you liked it!
I'm about halfway through this video, and I'm so happy to see someone putting such brilliant planning and thought into map design. Like, the forced-perspective trick? That was just... that's incredible. My brain jumped to "texture it to make it appear as though it fades away?" but wow, that perspective trick was textbook problem-solving at it's best. I was trying so hard to find a remake of Terminal - it's excellent - so I'm so glad someone with true passion for the project picked it up.
I cannot express how excited I am watching this. I couldn't bookmark it fast enough... this is just so amazing. I love the gameplay consideration, I love the amount of research, I love the history lesson (in-universe), and I am praying it makes it's way to Squad Battle or some other officially supported Playlist.
The amount of time and effort you put into this is insane! Even going as far as to finding the time of day for the in-universe invasion of earth is true dedication! The upscaling you did is fair and perfect imo and as far as infinite's texturing has come a long way and it's almost there in terms of being able to replicate those crunchy but classic og trilogy textures! Some things still look a little "shiny" but overall this map has some of the best uses i've seen! If they can update forge to a point where textures are much more distinct, and things like being able to paint terrain much like far cry's map editor, things would get truly crazy! With the addition of water coming, I feel like the devs are working to get to that point! Also we both have a super similar intro to halo lol I begged my mom to let me rent halo 2 from our local blockbuster! Amazing work on this map!
Someone at 343 should offer this man a job as a map recreator or something. The amount of time put on this and the immense care for not only the essence of the original map, but also the geography of the location is incredible.

My favourite BTB map :) amazing job, i love the lore, i always used to stare at the map showing where the train goes in the terminal. New Mombasa is my favourite.

My first thought was "Why is there a 38 minute video for one map made in forge?" But upon after watching it made me appreciate your thought process, past knowledge, and heart you put into this map. You didn't have to put the smallest detail into this map, but the fact that you did with the lore, compass location, time of day, areas to accommodate for Infinte's gameplay, and vehicle gameplay gives this map a soul. Terminal never got as much love as other BTB maps, but I always enjoyed it. I hope your map makes it in the Squad Battle playlist. 343 needs people like you in their office with passion like yours.
This is probably the most in-depth Forge map creation I’ve ever seen. Down to the realism, adjusting for changes in gameplay, following the Halo map-creation’s tradition in naming and the amount of detail. I wish even more map creators delved into the creative processes that you did. Fantastic work.

Incredible Video! On one my favorite maps in halo 2, there's so many maps for h2 that don't get enough love or overshadowed by others such as lockout, as great that map is I love this map because it so unique and chaotic and it tries something new. I'd spend hours setting up vehicles to stop the train, and when that feil, and then I'd spend more hours setting the biggest ones to watch them fly across map and maybe hit by the Carnage in its wake, and even after that, I'd just spend time driving around the roads walking around the garage in terminal wonder what the civilian did at that time in New Mombasa halo universe. Thank you for putting together this map and even making well informed video together with it. 💪🙂👍

This is by far the BEST Halo map remake Ive ever seen. I hope 343 hires you bro. You took a great map and improved everything about it 200 fold. Your improvements to the map geometry and pathing are absolutely incredible.
Dude your remake in Halo 5 inspired me into designing my own 4v4 map with trains on it. I've been trying to figure out how to make it work in infinite but can't wrap my head around the scripting.
Your sky elevator workaround is not the only way Disney has taught developers and builders to improve perspective. The skys in the original trilogy were made using the same layered painting method as the old disney movies to give a 3 dimensional feel to a 2d image
