hi creeper xo
her brother randomly talking about avatar in the back lmfao
I enjoy seeing how your entire family supports what you are doing, your mom's opinion is so interesting to hear ( in books and movies) you're so lucky.
I love hearing about why other people love the films they love! It’s so interesting
so you're not a book channel?
Loved the conversation about mimicking cameras in animation I will be looking for this all the time now!
I'm glad to see another Sofia Copolla fan
My favourite film is Almost Famous. I first saw it as a kid and it influenced my life and personality more than it should have
My favourite animations are Emperors New Grove and Atlantis. I watched them so many times as a kid
I love this concept, but especially from someone in film school! If you’re so inclined, I’d love to see a video on tv shows (if you watch them as much as films anyway).
Ratatouille and Eastern Promises are also a couple of my favorite films! ♥ Others of mine are Purple Noon, Psycho, The Graduate, Harold & Maude, Picnic At Hanging Rock, Persona, Zodiac, Belle de Jour, Grey Gardens.... I could go on but I don't think I need to like 50 films in a comment here.
Looking forward to the other parts and I followed you on Letterboxd :)
oh my god they showed us a bit of Grey Gardens in class and I need to finish it it’s really some thing else like wow
@@sarcastic_fish I can put Grey Gardens on any time and just casually watch it as I'm getting other stuff done. I love Little Edie! There's also a sort of follow-up documentary / more footage compiled as The Beales of Grey Gardens, fyi!
I re-watched all the Grey Gardens documentaries with my boyf during the first lockdown and spent at least 3 weeks imitating Little Edie's accent
So nostalgia and fear are the key summary. Shout out to Kurosawa films.
love this video!
The Langoliers by Stephen King. A film that deeply touched my emotions.
Also, the reason the parents die off in Disney film is because Walt Disney bought his parents a house, but then they died because of a gas leak and he felt so guilty about it, it made it a thing that a parent if not both be killed off (I think that's right, can't remember where I read it and it may not be a reliable source - yay Uni thinking!)
im well up for more videos about film
Emma, a woman at film school, analysis a movie: “I like the plot” but like same hehehe
qweens of critical analysis
Theres a book by Byung Chul Han calles The Scent of time that deals with boredom and time fading and passing that i would totally recomend for you to read.
I am reeling that this is no longer a BookTube channel, I felt the need to post as an Avid viewer of your content.
WE HAVE EXPANDED THE BRAND
@@sarcastic_fish we will just have to B roll with the changes.
The legend of Kora was also really good!
Try the film Miss Meadows with Katie Holmes. She acts super girly, but it hides her vigilante side. Also, thank you for accepting my friend request on GoodReads.
Avatar the last airbender💖
Wait....Emma likes films and is at film school??? She's never mentioned that before....
