Ann, I am sorry that this is your greeting. It’s the carpeting that is the main cause for the smells being trapped in the visiting area. Of your community Mausoleum. If you remove the carpet and put down an inexpensive tile floor the majority of the stale and musty smells will be gone and then the floors can be mopped with simple Green which is a disinfectant cleaner that will leave it smelling clean for a while. I think this would solve the problem. If there are many spaces left to sell you have a better chance to get some results. The closer a mausoleum is to being sold out, the less budget will be available for any improvements. My best to you…..

I visited my cousins masoleum at Greenlawn Cemetary a few years back and the smell was awful. My appetite was ruined for a week.

... They drain the fluids out of the bodies so there isn't an odor..
