Brad yelled in the presence of the kids, most parents do, it doesn't warrant social services getting involved. All this drama is just because brad cheated and she couldn't wait to confront him about it when they got home, she was impatient, he must have felt cornered on the small private plane with 6 kids hearing their argument. So much for her protecting the kids. I believe she provoked the whole scenario.

I have a four year old we never yell or spank. today, he threw his hat to the waiter in his face. we are having a really hard time, he just don't listen to any of both us. if Brad gets angry to his children once in a while is totally understandable. Angelina is wrong , and I don't know why I feel she's the one not suitable for raising those kids, but she's their mom you know, nobody is going to take care of them better thah their own parents

This "fight" was instigated and planned out by her to help her gain sole custody. She secretly rents a home for her and the kids unknown to Brad weeks before the incident. The kids are old enough to decide who they want to live with and I think that's what she fears. If she makes this BS the issue, then what the kids want will count less. Funny after all the years they are together she has always complimented Brad as being the best dad and now out of the blue he's a danger to the kids......sounds like BS to me.

It's ridiculous bad situation for normal problem couples due disciplinary action, it's for their own good sake welfare of the son and for them too., the earliest possible time, not to grow up in bad behavior manner, what most adopted are spoiled brat. The reason these accusations are surfacing at the same time as the divorce is because it wasn't a regular occurrence. It was an incident that happened recently and which led to Angelina filing for divorce. Some people tend to stick up for the bloke on these occasions, claiming false accusations, which is unfair.
It has been reported for years that Brad went on drinking binges with George Clooney and has smoked weed. George's binges were one of the reasons his marriage broke up. Many people do become abusive when intoxicated. That Angelina has decided to walk away - though not just because of this - is probably a good idea. She's not going to stand for anyone being abusive to her children especially when she's the kind of person who, reportedly, won't even shout at them. Even though this behaviour from Brad wasn't a regular thing, perhaps she can see things beginning to spiral downhill.

I find it hard to believe that it took 12 years for her to realize he was unfit. They didnt even have kids right away. He was cool enough to create kids with but now hes lost it. That isnt usually how things go after a man chooses to adopt kids he didnt choose or create.

If you ever tried to live with someone who has addictions and resulting personality problems, then you might take a different attitude. I think Angelina showed a lot of fortitude to make the difficult decision to leave. It might even shake him up a bit, enough to decide to get help for his drinking, etc.

You're entitled to your opinion, I respect that. This is just mine. Her whole life has been played out in front of the world for all to see. That's what I went by. Her repeated history of getting involved with men that are already involved with someone else shows me she lacks integrity, and empathy for another person. She's known this whole time Brad drinks and smokes pot, so now all of a sudden it's a big deal to her? Like I stated before if he did abuse the children then shame on him, if he didn't, then shame on her. Women who lie about abuse make it really hard on the women who don't.
So yelling at a kid isn't too bad! All kids cross boundaries sometimes and there needs to be dome discipline and respect! But if that also happens whilst the parent is 'wasted', and includes physical abuse (which isn't much of a stretch, as most people go further than they normally would if they're intoxicated in any way!), whilst the kids are on a private plane, with no one to realistically intervene, that would be fucking terrifying! IF that's what happened! If you were piloting a private plane, you wouldn't be wanting to leave the cockpit to try to break things up, which is presumably why they brought the plane down in Wisconsin! They both work pretty hard and it's well reported that they don't spend huge amounts of time together, as a family, so this may have been the first time things escalated that much! I think that, in that situation, where child services, the FBI and LAPD have been brought in, rather than risk losing custody of the kids because of how Brad might have acted, Angelina simply chose the kids over him, asking for sole custody, so they are not potentially removed from the family home and from both of them! If law enforcement DID meet the plane at Wisconsin, it's pretty obvious that it was someone on the plane who alerted them and then arranged to land there! I can't see that Angelina would have known this was going to happen, to 'mid-drama' isolate the flight attendant to get her 'on-side', so how else did she instigate it! The way she is constantly vilified is disgusting! Yes they got together when he and Jennifer were still together, but it takes two, right! Why is SHE always blamed for it solely? And now this has happened and THAT'S her fault too! I think that is disgusting and, shockingly, females seem to be in the majority that are putting the blame on her and not him! HE was the one that broke the 'sanctity' of his marriage vows! NOT her!

Well, in the world of death and taxes, if she gets sole physical custody of the children, she gets to claim the children on her tax return. He will not get a deductible if she gets sole physical custody if the divorce decree is granted that way.
That doesn't seem fair in any scenario;....& for the kids not to be able to have quality visitation with him or otherwise is cruel. Reminds me of the movie "Mrs. Doubtfire."

Of all people, mind you I have never read up on Brad's childhood or life prior to acting, but Angelina should know better than anyone how painful it is to not have a parent around!!! She had her father off and on growing up and they became astranged for years, that being the BIGGEST reason she hates to be alone and why she can do self destructive things at times just to feel more than the numbing effect, like many young people do now a days....
