Mrs. D, It wasn’t until about two weeks ago that I heard about “Bring It”. I walked into my bedroom around 2 a.m., and the show happened to be airing on television. I was getting ready to turn the television off and go to bed. However, I glanced up at the television, and I could not stop watching. I laid in bed watching your show until I fell asleep, and the television ended up watching me. I woke up that morning and told my husband that I found a show that I am going to love watching while on my two week Christmas break. I had no idea that the show first aired about 10 years ago. I was like, “Where have I been to have never heard of this show?” I loved the first 3 seasons (with Kala as captain and a year or two after she graduated and became your assistant). In order to see everything from the first season, and in order, I had to watch the shows on RUclips. After Camron graduated, the show became less interesting to me. Just when I started getting used to seeing the usual girls, so many changes were happening, from integrating male dancers to new assistant coaches after Kala left the show. So many things were changing just when I started loving the show. Initially, after watching the first few shows on television, I thought that you were mean, but several episodes later, I began to see and understand your drive and passion for the girls. I didn’t see any of the shows prior to Kala being captain because they were not aired on television. However, I am catching up on the first 3 seasons. I don’t know how much of the show was scripted or reality. I was totally taken aback when Christianna left the show. After that, I stopped watching the other episodes. I like the show when there were only female dancers. Mrs. D., thank you for bringing your talent to mainstream television for the world to see.
I’m excited cause I love Miss D everything she does I’ve been a fan since bring it i never really understood what happen just saw things online a few years back so Im ready for this ❤
Thank you Dianna for setting the record straight about the "Bring It" Show. I just want you to know that I always had respect and love for you and the girls just the way I viewed you guys. Keep doing what you're doing sis. God bless you. 🙏🥰
Love this interview! Miss D really has turned majorette into a business, she understands the ins and outs and at this point she could school a lot of new dance team owners/studio owners.
I absolutely love how you explained a lesson learned in regards to these networks & making sure everyone involved understands what is truly proposed to them. You put people on game about negotiating contracts & making sure everyone has an equal voice.
I wouldve added Tamia, Chrystianna, Makalah and The young lady who led walk the dog in the beginning…she was EVERYTHING!!! I think her name was Briana. Love all these ladies.
I enjoyed the show Bring it. I remember when it air on tv my daughter told me about it ,We watched all the season. My daughter was a dancer in middle and high school Co- Captain. Also, A FAMU mahogany Dance Theater INC. Ms. Diana you have put HBCU dance teams on the map everyone is watching more . Thank you and keep doing your thang 🥰🥰
I love Mrs. Dianna Williams! She is the Queen Of Majorette Dance. I watch her now on BrandonTV with the new show " The Dolls" and still watch episodes of " Bring It ". Happy New Year and blessings Mrs. Dianna!
I remember watching Bring it! S1E1. I grew up around HBCUs and was familiar with the majorette style. But the fact that those young ladies had to keep up their grades AND learn those formations and routines in a days time is mind blowing. All of the seasons are on tubi and I find myself watching every so often.
This was really a great interview. Wow honestly one of the top 10 interviews ive seen a content creator on youtube do. Coach D, is so amazing and so damn beautiful. So much love and respect for this queen 💯❤️
Coach D has always been inspiring to me!! As an alumni of JSU & as someone who has tried out for the Jsettes quite a bit but never made bodycuts, her story always teaches me that sometimes things are bigger than you but never give up on your dream. It resonates with me so much. She’s gonna always get support from me!
Happy New Year's to everyone. Dianna Williams is the queen of DD4L and all that she does. I've watched Dancing Dolls from the beginning. I am so proud of all her accomplishments. All of the older Dolls have continued Dancing at other colleges, married and with kids, and other areas of dancing. Continued Blessings to Dianna Williams and families ❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂
Thank you Coach D for this amazing interview, your fan base & supporters are all across the globe, we're here in Europe, watched all the shows from life time & to this day we follow & keep up with you & the DD4L girls/young women & enterprise. May god be with you always & forever, what you've done for folk money can't buy from the dance athletes to your audiences, we love you. DD4L!!! ❤
Thank You!!!!🎉❤❤ Coach D.🥇 🏅🏆 For all you did For the (Black Culture!!!!) 🙏 Ànd for black Women!!! & girls.. Love You & Miss you 😘 ❤ God bless (Jackson State!) Happy New Year!!!
I so glad that Kayla is doing so well now and the people who put her down when she was a dancing doll . She now has 2 beautiful children and good husband.
To me Mrs D you are so beautiful to me you take beautiful picture to people are so jealous and they are jealous they want to be you keep your head up I love the way you speak tell the truth
So is Tamia and you still close ? I love all you and girls relationship tbh sunjai grew so much I can tell you were a good person cause she could have walked many of times but she didn't you brought what other coaches didn't bring out cause she did mention she was on other teams and than there's Kayla who stick around and helped out and still is cause I follow all y'all on Instagram I remember when y'all came to Greenville and performed at the convention center I can relate to Kayla and Sunjai the most cause close in age I am a year older lol ❤😂
Coach D came prepared!! She already knew what she was going to say before you ever asked a question lol. Please get Coach Tracy next, if she's willing. I dont think people realize how much The Miami superstars influenced The Dolls after they competed against eachother on the show. The girls got matching practice uniforms, and started taking a lot more technique training, and incorporating it into their style. What Coach Tracy has done with the GGirls is equivalent to what Coach D has done with her team. I dont feel she gets the credit she deserves, and a lot of her dancers are captains and members of the HBCU dance teams.
I don’t believe it. Even so those are her daughters regardless. One thing for certain 2 things for sure you don’t know what people are going thru! 🤷🏽♀️
@@carmenjackson4597 Imma say it again... I DID NOT MEET HER BEFORE BRING IT... #theend After it started I got to know her and shes great!! Why didnt I know her? WHO KNOWS!!!!!! I saw DAD... Its like this now with other dancers on the team I see one more than the other... IDK anyones dynamic
@grayca05, You're not telling the entire story. She said SUNJAY just transferred to her from another school. JJ was the one to sign them up. JJ said on Milichun that Selena was always in the girls life. Gucci daughter also said she would spend a night over Selena house as children and Selena treated her kind always. Question to you, would you let your child spend a night at a dead beat parents home who just started coming around after being gone for years? Lastly, if Gucci was this great stepmother that played a larger role, why wasn't she casted? The other twins uncle was casted because of family structure. So was Christianna aunt was casted and not her parents.
This was a really good interview! I love how she answered beyond his questions. We got so much information.
yes!!! like sooo many of my questions were answered

Love this opportunity to hear her story. She's amazing and I love her honesty, vision and her impact in the lives of so many young women.

An all star team without Crystianna 😮😮😮😮 She is the number 1
So JJ didn't lie when he said Selena didn't come around her girls until the spotlight of the show. Selena ... no ma'am!
I don’t believe it. Even so those are her daughters regardless. One thing for certain 2 things for sure you don’t know what people are going thru! 🤷🏽♀️
Or maybe just around him after all JJ real negative towards her and the girls

You need to listen to Selena story on her RUclips before you judge her. Selena has gone through a lot and her life.
