@tier1solutions28 incredibly long complicated story but junior galette took over the locker room for a couple years and Sean Payton and the front office put their support behind Cam. It's a hilarious story tbh
@@tier1solutions28 most of the defense had juniors back and so did Armstead. Andrew Whitworth reached out thru Rob Ryan to let him know that Junior was the most technical and creative pass rusher he'd ever seen and that Junior owed it to the team to maximize Armsteads potential by going extra hard in practice. Meanwhile on the other side of the line you had Strief vs Jordan who went easy on each other, cuz they both played a bruiser style and Cam has always prioritized edge setting over breaking the lineman down. It was an aggressive vs passive approach and they didn't get along.
@@voiceofreason2674 honestly all of that is Sean Payton's fault for letting the locker room get out of control if I recall correctly Drew Brees came very close to retiring during this time period because it was so bad
Cam Jordan was kind of the backbone of the Saints for all this years
Sean loved him and chose him after the great Junior Galette coup detat
How was that a coup?

@@voiceofreason2674 never heard that part of the story, and I'm pretty locked in as to what's going on. I remember his "wife" with the Twitter storm
