@@debraashley8831 Exactly. She says she's happy she got fired, so it's not really such a big deal for her, is it? Especially now that she has Go Fund Me funds from gullible people. 💁🏻♀
I used to work at dollar general. She wasn't lying they give MAX hours, Little pay, Heavy Workload, Barely good times for stocking and delivery. And NO ONE wants to work there. Like the only that kept me working there during college was it was walking distance until I saved up for a car and the MGRs tend to be really good to employees but above them it's trash....She was RIGHT and they were mad she told the truth
@Eric Chin did you need attention so you hopped in my comments? Lol if you want the attention your parents didn't give call your church they care about we don't ma'am
I walked in to my local dollar general and the cashier let me know she was closing in 10 mins. It was 7:30pm and the store usually closed at 10pm. I was quick and went to check out. I asked why she was closing early and she told be she had been working 12 hours straight with no help, no lunch or breaks and she wasn’t giving them an hour more. I felt so bad.
Poor lady, hopefully she got home& had some much needed rest! It's ridiculous that a fortune 500 company would expect such from their employees and have little or no regard for their staff. I hope this lady coming out with Truth makes them change their business strategy and start being better to their employees; After all they can't make money without them!!!
@@40shadeofbeauty16 actually if a store is short staff you can shut it down, I use to work at Freddy’s and we had to close the restaurant because we only had 3 people including me working
Why was she fired go telling the truth? Attention Dollar General: We know exactly what goes on in the stores. She didn’t have to tell us. You were wrong.
@@bobdole4093 She wasn't badmouthing there's a difference. She was simply just stating what she goes through working there. She never bashed the job or anything
I’m a nurse and I have had multiple retail jobs and worked in several hospitals but dollar general was BY FAR the toughest job I have ever had. I just handed my keys to my cashier one day and never came back. They want you to do the work of 5 people and pay you pennies
Understaffed is definitely true. I've never seen a Dollar General or Dollar Tree with more than 2 employees. It's mostly just 1 person stocking shelves and then running to the cash register when a customer shows up
As a former Dollar General employee, what she says is TRUE. They expect you to run the register and put out stock, as well as recovery (moving all items on shelf to the front so there aren't any gaps). I was overworked and underpaid. My manager expected me to close every night, not making it home until around 10pm and I had a 6 yr old at the time with a babysitter. I hated not being home to put him to bed at night. I asked my manager to change my hours. He told me if he changed my hours, I wouldn't have any hours. So I quit right then and there. Walked off and never went back. I'm glad this woman got out of there. I wish her the best.
Lmao she lucky you handled that well Let somebody make a smart remark like that about me not being able to see my kids especially when they have the power to change that I’d lose it if u thought u gonna talk to me like that as well (round 1 fight)
you're right about that because I worked for Dollar General for only 7 months and quit just last month because I was hardly getting enough hours only like 10 hours a week then it's hard to be going back and forth between stocking and register ESPECIALLY when its really busy
I spent almost 20yrs as a retail manager with various companies and yes it can be one of the most demanding, back breaking, tedious, unsafe, unappreciated and most definitely underpaid jobs out here. I’m so glad I left retail when I did.
People who literally work in corporate do not know what their employees go through generally. Instead of firing her they should of listened EVEN if they disagreed to what she said. I hope more people walk out on this big corporations. Buy from small places. Make local markets more popular. Support local families.
I have friends that have worked for them who have expressed similar views. They busted their butts, worked days that they said they couldn’t work upon hire, got treated poorly and then were treated like they were in the wrong when dealing with dangerous and/or criminal customers who were clearly the ones in the wrong.
Right Dollar general is always getting robbed and then if you get shot and killed then going to be like " this is unfortunate we try to take as much safety precautions as we can our deepest condolences go out to the family such and such was a kind beautiful so that loved everyone even the criminals that shot her to death!!" @@LoveyK in certain areas…the difference is that Dollar General seems to be like that across the board as compared to some retailers that have great reputations for how they treat their staff (Kohl’s, Target, Hobby Lobby to name a few).
This is so true. My friends daughter was the manager in Tacoma and they did the same thing to her, she worked 6, often 7 days a week AND on call no less, she literally had no life except that of the DollarGeneral. She quit and now has a better job where she's respected and appreciated.
SHAME ON YOU DOLLAR GENERAL. $.99 Only is my favorite dollar store and they have an announcement asking customers to be respectful to employees. I worked in retail for 13 years and customers can be horribly abusive. Not every customer is right. This definitely does not give me any respect for Dollar General. Best of luck to this under-appreciated woman. I am rooting for her!
@Anna Wilder Do you know if I can get some cheap anal beads at the $ .99 store? I want to experiment but am on a budget. Somehow I think you might know
But 99 Cents Only is really only available on the West Coast.

Of course the customers can be abusive. It's the job you signed for. And it's the job with 0 educational requirements. Every idiot on the street can work in store... It's far from being the only job like this... NOBODY FORCES YOU to work there! You dont like the ambient then leave! You think every other job is perfect? The easiest way in life is to put yourself in imaginary minority and start crying about how world is unfair to you expecting to be treated like polar bear... I would put these kind of people in gulags so they see what WORK really means... What having blisters on blisters means....
@ don't be so elitist lol. Education and wage has nothing to do with it. A company has a duty to treat their employees fairly and with respect regardless of what they pay.
“We listen to our employees concerns” but fired her when she voiced her concerns smh. As an employee in the customer service field I always get called lazy by customers while busting my ass. It’s nice to have some awareness. Just cuz I work at a grocery store doesn’t make me any less of a human being haha

It's unfortunate that Dollar General treats their employees so poorly. I worked for them in the late 90s, my manager was a horrible. She constantly threatened and scream at us with customers around. I ended up quitting, I wasn't aware of corporate being unreasonable about her work load but still not an excuse to scream at us.
Same here. I worked at a Thai restaurant, and the owner would yell at everyone. They expected the impossible basically. Such as when 5 or so meals had to be cooked, but there was only one Wok to cook on. He didn't understand why there was waiting periods between plates. Each plate took about 2 minutes to prep, cook, and put on plate. He would go into a rage the fact that the last plate wasn't done 8 to 10 minutes after the first. Yet, we weren't allowed to cook more than one order at a time. This guy worked as an electrical engineer at the nuclear plant too, so he wasn't slow per se. We would always do our job right. Stay busy. And work fast, but we were constantly getting yelled at for not being able to do the impossible.

I was shopping in Dollar General, only one employee in the store 6 customers at the register. Lady checking told the employee she broke a jar of pickles and that it was still on the floor. The employee gave a look of disbelief but was holding her composure. Customer didn't even get another jar of pickles and walked out. I saw a broom and dust pan behind the counter, grabbed that and went and swept up the mess then brought back behind the counter and the employee couldn't believe I would do something like that for her.
Ya because you aren't getting paid 1. 2, nobody just does that. They just stand there because they don't care or they're not getting paid or they're in a hurry.
I worked retail for soooo many years!! And shes speaking for alllll the workers!! Super happy your keeping your posts up!! Just because they fired you doesnt mean your words werent true!! And just because you were speaking up doesn’t mean that you weren’t coming to work or doing your job!! The thing is, if they had kept her employed, listened to her, and actually tried to improve the working conditions in the stores, this wouldn't have blown up near as much, in fact I think more people would shop at Dollar General if they actually acted like they gave a flip!

She’s telling the truth! I experienced the same thing. The managers realized I was a good employee so they gave me more work on top of the one million things that were already asked of me. I lasted for three or four months, but finally quit after I was being asked to work every single day.

They fired her because they KNEW she was right. By doing that, they're incriminating themselves. Had she told them directly instead of online, they'd STILL have fired her for speaking up. They're ONLY sorry they went viral. Not for the working conditions.
No. They fired her because she breached her contract. They even gave an opportunity to take down the videos and she still refused. The Dollar General had every right to fire her.
That makes sense. I don't know if she said it in the video, but I wonder if she addressed this with management first and they ignored her. If she went online after THAT, then they fired her out of spite because they KNOW they're wrong. If she went online before or instead of going to management, then I can understand their firing her to a degree. It still doesn't justify the working conditions. They both could've handled this differently.
Thank you for bringing this story to light! Now I know why my pick up order I made a day in advance was not ready. A very nice lady had to get it together when I showed up there. She was trying to run the register and help me at the same time. I did let corporate know I witnessed this ridiculousness. This story confirmed my suspicions. She saved a mildly frustrated customer when I was asked for feedback about my pick up experience. Dollar General needs to get it together!
As a former sales associate at Dollar General, I can confirm everything she said is 💯💯💯 TRUE!!!!! That company is the greediest company in the United States! Building a dollar general like every 10 miles! They have way more companies than these other jobs, yet they only paid me minimum wage while the other stores with LESS companies paid their employees more!! When I started college, I only worked at dollar general 2 days a week bc I was on campus all week. I worked on Friday and Saturday. They expected me to work EVERY Friday and Saturday because I had the whole week “off.” Baby, being in college is not being “off.” And they basically threatened to replace me bc I wanted to take Saturday off to attend a family cookout with family I don’t see very much! Then they asked me can I work that Sunday KNOWING that I go back to my dorm on Sundays. They just couldn’t take the fact that I didn’t work Saturday, so they tried to make me work Sunday. I am 20 years old with no kids. I do not want to spend my pre-children years working every Saturday night for minimum wage. They also were opened on THANKSGIVING DAY. Not only was my company opened, but they OPENED an HOUR earlier and CLOSED an HOUR LATER than normal business hours. The company owners wanted us employees to work extra hours on the holiday while they were at home with their families!!! They also didn’t wanna let me off for my aunt’s wake, or let my coworker off to be with her dad who had just had a heart attack! After all this, they still wonder why everybody always quits!!! Me and my coworker quit too! And both of us have been happier since we quit that job!!!
I'm not gonna lie though. Everytime I walk into a DG i see the cashier's faces saying "Hello. PLEASE don't do anything crazy today. I just had to deal with a Shop-Lifting Addict & a Coupon Karen, while still waiting on my typically late coworker."
Too many companies run retail managers into the ground while not supporting them. I was one, working 7 days/wk, 12-15 hrs/day, 2-3 months at a time with NO RELIEF STAFF, NO BREAKS. Lack of staffing is a HUGE problem and was the direct cause of my retiring - permanently disabled by injury and laying undiscovered for 5 hours.
My friend was a manager at a Dollar General in Columbia, South Carolina. It was awful what she had to deal with. Long days. Many hours. Theft and unruly customers everyday. Staff that were always late, stealing drinks and snacks, disrespectful people all day every day. Not worth the time or the pay. At all.
As a former employee I agree with everything she has said I worked every day even doubles an the company doesn't care not to mention the disrespectful customers we get when our store looks the way we do
As a former Retail Manager, its all true. The nerves on some of these customers......If a store is crappy 99% of the time, the company is cutting too much hours. I used to work 50-70 hours a week, so I know what it is like.
If a customer wants you to improve its not disrespect, also the girl in the video or anybody in general shouldnt give there all to any company since there gonna fire you anyways eventually no matter what , working use to be great , you went to work you had a stable job but now over the years job security has declined and its easy to get fired very easily , soon as you talk back or say anything your fired , working simply isnt worth it anyways moneys simply worthless and your busting your ass to struggle and cant survive anymore like before not to mention the fact that every job wants experience
She may be right but now she has put it online and will find it harder to get another job. She hasn’t done herself any favors by choosing to die on that hill
I just recently quit from dollar general. It was a horrible place to work and they expected so much with very little pay, while the manager enjoyed smoking a pack a day while everyone ran around like headless chicken trying to find a manager for the manager to use there keys... 24 hours after leaving dollar general I felt so much better so much happier and that's pretty sad
I also worked at Dollar general and yes is true is awful place to work and also dangerous when you have to work night shift because some of the customers looked like they bearly got out of jail poor pay salary no payed vacation or sick day's and if you had to avoid a transaction or to change a price you always had to look for the manerger so he or she can give you the keys it was a nightmare in a really bad atmosphere I'm happier now with my new job .
This is literally why they're always hiring because you'd have to be beyond desperate to want to work for a place like this after seeing how it's ran smh
I was an SM for Dollar General as well, and I can fully say she's underselling it. That company uses their employees like work horses. During Covid 19, they had managers doing 60+ hours a week ( salaried for 45), 7 days in a row at times. Its definitely Eat, Sleep, DG ( choose 2). Glad u got out when u did🤙🏾 blessings to you and yours, for I know yall have been suffering working for that Godforsaken place. 💯
The manager at our local Dollar General is one of the hardest working people in the entire community. She is ALWAYS there, constantly lending a hand at other DG locations, and is consistently understaffed. She's complained to me about pressure from corporate, and the unreasonable expectations they put on her. Saddened to see this is apparently the norm with this company!
After week, a manager meeting would be in place; point out what were the responsibilities you had & the amount of work you did where a significant revision of salary of 18.00 dollars an hour as a start.
Worked 4 years at DG. I quit last week, started off at 7.25 an hour. after those 4 years I finally got to 11 it’s ridiculous bc other employees that started years after me, were getting paid more. While they were only cashiers and I had to help with the register, stock the shelves and do paperwork. On top of that take care of customer complaints about there not being a specific item on the shelve. Angers me.
Shes not lying, family dollars, dollartree and dollar general give the absolute minimum hours and support for stores while maximizing profits and demanding unrealistic expectations! Coming from a employee of one of those stores for 2 years!
Yes ! I worked at Dollar Tree for 6 months . And was only suppose to work part time they had practically full time and still never made over 200 dollars every 2 weeks . It was so ridiculous. I'm actually glad they fired me . Because then they tried getting me to come back to work because they were so short staffed 🤣 You bet I didn't go back
Anyone who has worked in retail or has a family member who has, especially in grocery, knowns what she said is true. That she didn't express her complaints to the company is indicative of nothing about her other than her knowing nothing will happen or worse so she vented to a faceless camera instead.
It's amazing that their billion dollar company solution wasn't to invest a bit more money into making their stores and customer service the best it could be but, to FIRE the employee that busted her ass for them because she loved her job just because she brought a few problems to light. Unbelievable🙄
I heard the same claims from other employees. The company must be trying to save money by only having a few employees for each store but making those employees do more then they can handle. It’s sad. Get it together Dollar General. Learn how to treat your employees!!!
Lol the statement made my Dollar General: “We use those situations as additional opportunities to listen and learn from our employees”…. Employee gets fired and discarded like a piece of trash.🤦🏽♂️
Gotta love that no matter how many hours this lady put into this job, how efficient of a manager she was, or how long she tolerated being treated badly that they fired her the second she complained instead of trying to fix the issues.😊 capitalism moment
She 100% spoke the truth. I worked at dg for a year and a half and just finally left in January. They want you to make that store your life. We work every holiday except Christmas day. I worked every single holiday for an entire year. Want to make plans for a holiday so you plan to ask for it off, you can't! They have made every holiday a "no request" day.
OR if you ask for it off, you get it. Then they unapprove it 2 days before you're supposed to leave, you know. After spending over 4 thousand dollars. That's what happened to me.
I have shopped at dollar stores for years. Corporate does treat employees bad. I offered to fix a ac unit for our local dollar store and corporate told the employees they didn't have the funding or money to fix it. I offered to fix it free it was only a breaker issue, corporate told them if it was touched in any way they would all be fired. To this day it still has not been properly fixed, and we live in the south.
I remember being instantly happy and stress free after I quit my low-paying food service jobs. It's nice working somewhere were they actually care about and treat you properly. I can actually call in sick now if I have to!
I was looking for this comment!!! I agree with you to a T. I also believe people should always try to work their way up in life. Working up doesn’t always mean a promotion. It could mean finding a different job that pays more and learning new skills.

Never post anything about your job on social media. In many states employers can fire you for any reason other than the obvious discrimination reasons.
Yeah but you don't go blasting it on tik tok. No one likes there job. If some did it wouldn't be called work. She could have just quit and work for lift and Uber like she is now.
They can fire you for no reason but if a employee retaliates and shoots up the workplace and whoever fired them then that employer and whoever fired them deserves it , and that fired employee shouldnt go to prison or jail treat people with respect and there wont be violence its that simple
Technically she can file a lawsuit no? Cuz she hasn't done anything wrong or has lied, she is expressing herself and saying how she feels working at the dollar general. So maybe she can consult a lawyer. A man said his job was making him feel depressed, he won a pretty good amount of money out of the lawsuit.
DG is such a crappy place to work. I had an awesome Manager but they worked him to the bone running numerous stores, As far as I know he was going to college for IT and I wish him nothing but the best. Same goes for this lady.
As a customer for Dollar General I once asked to use the restroom. It was the most disgusting thing I ever saw. Their back store was also extremely dirty and tight. I literally wanted to take photos of it. This was 6 years ago. I think I’ll will go back to that store and check it out again.🤔
Good for her for speaking up! I’m so sick of these companies gaslighting employees and making them out to be the problem when in fact IT’S THE COMPANY that creates the work environment and sets the hours and expectations. Every company needs to start learning that society keeps you in business and employees run it all. Start valuing your employees and be fair. Treat them with respect, offer a healthy work-life balance, pay employees a livable wage and staff your stores appropriately!!! Enough is enough. And the rest of us need to stop supporting businesses by buying their stuff when they treat their employees this way. If we all did this things would change overnight for a lot of people. Do the right thing and let companies know you won’t support their business if this is how they run things.
Stop working hard for companies thats gonna fire you anyways , dont even try to waste your time on giving them your all because at the end of the day your replaceable
I heard exactly what she was saying about why stores look like they do. Christmas time was especially horrible with all the empty shelves but literally like 50 large bins full of products yet to be stocked! Short staffed, over worked and under paid was what I'd here from employees for all our local stores
I have been boycotting them for years I would rather drive 20 miles out of my way then go to this dumpster fire and it's not in police fault they're giving little help underpaid they need to hire stocking shelves employees separately because they can't do it all
That's the problem with Dollar General. They attack their own employees over saying that something is wrong. It's the best company to quit or get fired from probably for that reason. I wouldn't work for them ever! I knew someone who did who quit because one of the other employees was sexually harassing any males who worked there or made deliveries there. I told him that he quit that job for all the right reasons! 😎
There’s no lie in what she said at all. I’m currently at Dg. For 6 years. I’ve been here longer she just had the balls to say it. Y’all can get a team together to bust the freight for the replacement manager but can’t find a team to come help us. Tryna leave now
The store in mo had to close almost the entire month of Feb and March for at least 2 or 3 days a week. The manager told us that they have no staff and the floor was overloaded with products not put away due to NO stafd.
Good thing it's so easy to steal from that store. Walmart was the same way to my mom. They robbed us of our mom during out childhood. She's was a manager and they kept her 15 hours out of every day and never let her get a day off. Every year and every holiday they had her working even after requesting for days off. They don't care about you or your health so why should we care about saving your store
One thing I learned from my manager is being a manager is not all it's cracked up to be. If I call off, he works a double shift if nobody can come in. Part of the reason I only do this when absolutely necessary.
Now I see why the workers always look despondent. That's ridiculous and I know she's telling the truth because I've stopped 2 shoplifters for them and the not managers nor anyone from corporate have never said thank you and they were both caught on the surveillance camera. That's sad I hope all goes well for her she seems like a hard worker. Hats off to DG workers keep pushing.
We need to demand people get paid more at retail jobs like these. People deserve living wages IN ALL JOBS. Wages that can pay for your children’s college, pay rent, utilities, food, and afford a vacation or two. America is the wealthiest country on the planet. Let’s demand these companies do better.
Newsflash: Most companies see employees as no more than a number. Easily replaceable. Never, ever kill yourself for any corporation. Don't agree? Well, do you live in a fancy house, drive an exotic car, can afford luxury trips? Does your CEO? Here's you sign.
This is very similar to goodwill. Had me doing everything for a whole year full time hours but not HIRED full time and they refused to make me full time after a year which is REQUIRED in my state,(if you've been doing 40 hrs or more weekly for more than 6 months) they refused and Instead fired me. And didn't even give me my final check
I definitely feel for this woman but every store looks like that, every company overworks and underpays their employees and every store has reviews about staff laziness etc. Things absolutely have to change but it starts with the customers. I've never worked in retail but I'm SO SICK of hearing fellow customers berating and yelling at employees. "This is your job", "when will you learn how to place orders" and my altime favorite, "I'm the customer.... YOU work for ME". Seriously lay off these people or else start making your own goods from scratch. Other customers don't wanna hear your pissy attitude from 3 aisles over.

Fr, I been working at dg for almost 3 years, and it's so exhausting, we can never keep up because the trucks comes late, or we would get 3 different trucks all at once. Theres not enough employees to work those trucks. We don't get paid enough for all the work we do and it sucks. I love my customers and coworkers, but the company is trash
That’s how it feels working at dollar tree. I use to be like her and I quit because they left me by myself in the entire store with no cashier and had to keep the store open until close because it’s a “priority” instead of my safety. I worked as a night shift assistant manager but when I would be by myself in the entire store, I would feel like the world is crumbling, thankfully I gain the courage to quite but now I’m jobless and almost broke
Had a similar experience with a job that I felt was exploiting me but quitting a place like that is the best feeling ever even if it comes with the consequences of being unemployed. I’d rather have my life back and be broke than have money and be taken advantage of.
If you have one olive garden hires at 15 for all shifts. They train people on multiple positions so that when someone needs a day off there is no fighting for it.
I hope she’s able to bounce back. My first job was at a dollar store and they broke me. I was a 16 year old, excited to enter the workforce. If they asked me to jump I would say how high?! I was easily their best employee, but it was one of those places where the 36 year old assistant manager was sleeping with the 20 year old cashier. For doing such a good job I was given the work of 3 people. When I couldn’t keep up they fired me. Lesson learned. Don’t be eager and excited about your work. 😒
I worked at a the main Gino’s Pizza in Huntington WV, and they ran me into the ground. I was tasked with making calzones, and using the oven to bake them and pizzas. There were pet employees who seemed to stand around, and occasionally perform. The oven gave me burns on the arms when I pulled the pizzas from it, and the burns hurt. The owner would pull in every day and get a briefing on profits. He drove a Rolls Royce, and was a skinflint who would not pay above the minimum wage, etc. I made it through a couple of months or so, and that was all. It was enlightening on how people act and think, but not much else. When weighed in the balance, it was a negative experience.
The fact that the company fired her is proving her point.

Understaffed is definitely true. I've never seen a Dollar General or Dollar Tree with more than 2 employees. It's mostly just 1 person stocking shelves and then running to the cash register when a customer shows up

That is true that is why dollar general is always getting robbed
My dollar general has one person closing every night. That not safe.

Yup quit my job there about a month in a half ago . I don't regret a damn thing .

Let somebody make a smart remark like that about me not being able to see my kids especially when they have the power to change that I’d lose it if u thought u gonna talk to me like that as well (round 1 fight)
you're right about that because I worked for Dollar General for only 7 months and quit just last month because I was hardly getting enough hours only like 10 hours a week then it's hard to be going back and forth between stocking and register ESPECIALLY when its really busy

It’s definitely retaliation.
This is so true.
They should of promoted her. And customers need to quit being jerks to employees.
As a retail worker this is accurate. When I’m on my break I wear headphones so I don’t have to answer questions and deal with disrespectful people.
I heard exactly what she was saying about why stores look like they do. Christmas time was especially horrible with all the empty shelves but literally like 50 large bins full of products yet to be stocked! Short staffed, over worked and under paid was what I'd here from employees for all our local stores
People don’t understand how hard retail work is, I remember I used to work at old navy a few months ago, and it was very tiring
What a Horrible company!!! Omg she was defending the store from negative comments from customers and that’s how they paid her? Boycott!
Shut up!
Showing her face/location was mistake number one. Anyone, if you must speak up, do it anonymous.
She was doin it AT WORK ON THE CLOCK. They did tell the real story.
Yes, and more of a chance she wouldn’t have been terminated if she did so.
That’s why no job is more important than your family.
We need to demand people get paid more at retail jobs like these. People deserve living wages IN ALL JOBS. Wages that can pay for your children’s college, pay rent, utilities, food, and afford a vacation or two. America is the wealthiest country on the planet. Let’s demand these companies do better.
If their pay goes up, products will increase exponentially. They need a trade or marketable skill.
Wow that was so messed up. I use to work at Goodwill too and they treated me badly as well.
If they cant perform, I will take my business elsewhere
THANK YOU!!!!
@@user540000 Sure you might but the rest of the world doesn't. Or else every buisness that performed badly would no longer be in buisness...however I don't see that happening.
It’s almost as if the customer isn’t always right!! Whoever made that slogan never EVER worked for the public lol
@@SteenyBean it's not a policy that any company uses or believes in it's q fictional policy that customers THINK exists
I worked for Dollar General a few years ago, what she is saying is 1000% true!
Dollar General is a horrible place to work for, I worked there tens years and what she’s saying is 100% true. Dg needs to do better and start giving their workers more help and respect.
Hope she gets another better job 🙏
Sometimes there is Noone at the checkout stand for a while and I feel like I could easily walk out with whatever I want.
You could they won’t catch you lol
She only was showing it is really like working in the Dollar General. She shouldn't have to be fired.

Welcome to companies like dollar general who hate freedom of speech theyll fire you for speaking up thats why its better to take things into your own hands and beat up and torture whoever fired you without going to prison or jail , saves court costs and time
It's common sense to not talk about your place of employment on social media.
What she said is 1000% TRUTH!
Worked there for 4 years. This woman speaks the truth 💯.
They just built a brand new building for a brand new dollar general where I live and the store is Nasty! A brand new store shouldn't be disgusting to the point of wanting a shower after. You can Never fit down the aisles because of the pallets.
I am a fedex driver in Minnesota that picks up and and delivers there all the time. This is not an isolated incident. I feel for them over there.
I believe everything she said in this video. All you have to do is walk into the store and you will see for yourself.
I use to work for Dollar General and it is a terrible company to work for.
You weren't strong enough mentally fix it
Had a similar experience with a job that I felt was exploiting me but quitting a place like that is the best feeling ever even if it comes with the consequences of being unemployed. I’d rather have my life back and be broke than have money and be taken advantage of.
💩
Working a job you love would be worth it, just see if you want to do a specific one in the future
They listen and learn by firing people for being upset with them, what a joke.
I would NEVER work for dollar general! I’ve seen what they have to go through when I shop there. All that work for a pitiful paycheck? No bueno!
The Dollar General in my town looks like A tornado was inside if you’re in a wheelchair you can’t even get down the isles and always looking for help
