    They later broke this record with the same model combine with newer modifications. I have yet to see what they can do with the 8700 model or 8900 which have many improvements over 760tt

    It is amazing the productivity of the new LEXION 760 TERRA TRAC harvest 51,153 bushels of corn over ten hours (9hrs. 7min. actual harvest time) near Yorkville, IL during the 2010 harvest. How much diesel you used to harvest this record harvest?

      we use acres and bushels per acre in north america, convert it yourself!

      @christianhovestadt1894 9 лет назад +8

      Michał Cnotalski 1 acre = 0,404685642 hectare. field is 590 acre x0,404985942 = 239 hectares. average 240 bushel per acre is 240/0,404985942 = 593 bushel per hectare x 0,0254 = 15 tons per hectare. total 51000 bushel = 51000 x 0,0254 = 1295 metric tons in total. the combine is doing 6300 bushel an hour which is 6300/0,0254 = 160 tons per hour i hope i helped you.

    In response to RedFeetWall. The big state doesn't need us "farmers" you do.Unless you grow your own food. Let me ask you a question. In your life have you ever fed yourself on food you have planted nurtured and harvested?

      +Russell Richter 3 acres worth tearing the ground with an old 53 and 48 Ford so not on that scale but I have fed myself and family with farming. So calm down

    • @AceBaracuda

      Well if it has the extra fuel cell it holds 300 gallons of fuel. So my best guess is 250 gallons. It used.

    I'm calling B S unless that thing has a 1000 gallon fuel tank they had to stop at 3 to 4 times in ten hours to fuel up so I'm sure it wasn't ten straight hours of running hard

    • @russellrichter3473
      @russellrichter3473 8 лет назад +1

      Kevin you should do a bit of research and know what you are talking about before making any comments about farming or the equipment used. Has a 304 gallon fuel tank and uses 14 to 21 gph depending on load on engine load and crop yield. If you dispute my statements check the Cat Lexion site or check the link to Nebraska field test for class 9 harvesters

    Somebody's got to harvest it so that we can waste it by turning it into a motor fuel.

    They have good capacity and size but they are really slow.... I get to watch 2 go around every year... With a grain cart and endless supply's of trucks. John Deere is better than the lexions and the internationals are better than the John Deere's. Most of the John Deere's that I have seen can do about 5-7mph, and most of the case/internationals can do 8-9 mph while harvesting. Our 40 year old rebuilt ( several times over ) international can harvest 8 rows of corn as fast as it can go. We would have a bigger head but even with this one you have teeth digging in on one side and your cutting above the corn on the other side. other wise I think we could get away with a 12 row on that really small combine when we have the massive 560 lexions with these 12 row heads going 3-4 mph.

      because john deere is built for american crops , we in europe have 20t per hectare of corn or 12ton of wheat per hectare this year

    • @farmallskittle
      @farmallskittle 9 лет назад +1

      Baron Van Oosting this is a lexion 760 though so it is built to handle a 12 row much easier than the 560

    • @pointblankdiesel621
      @pointblankdiesel621 4 года назад

      @@farmallskittle in the video it’s running a 16 row with 30 inch spacing just fine. We run this exact setup and it runs a good 5 mph with a good sample with minimal grain loss. I love running it.

    • @AceBaracuda
      @AceBaracuda 2 года назад

      @@AgropolSokoowoTV this video was done with 15 ton per hectare equivalent. And it wasn’t necessarily great corn the record is near or over 31 ton per hectare.

    not as efficient as case... case averages 1.5 - 2.0 gallons per acre harvested. even though the case is more efficient I still love the job my Lexion 770 does and I prefer it over my case.
