- Ok guys, quick Baruuk guide.
Eclipse instead of first skill for more dps.
Nira mode pack - for increase slam damage of the Desert Wind.
I have seen a lot of people, who make his duration less than 50%. Don’t do that - you need Eclipse duration.
Also I put equilibrium and Tech modes in my pet cuz Baruuk is energy hungry.
About weapons - as you wish - all you need are two dexterity arcanes.
School - Naramon (it helps you not to lose your combo)
Melee weapon - Verdilac. It is comfortable for quick combo gain and also you can install third Nira mode in it.
We don’t have blood rush on desert wind so we need Gladiator’s mode pack.
How this build works:
Cast your 3 ability on spawn, find enemies, cast 2, kill enemies, gain combo, fill Restraint scale. Cast 4 and Eclipse. Enjoy
If you want use heavy attacks and have always red crits your desert wind’s combo counter should be always more than x3
And the last about desert wind build - I use Primed Pressure Point because Condition Overload doesn’t work on Waves - and waves are 80% of our attacks.

I haven't tried eclipse on Baruuk yet because it is duration based but I'mma try it out! If you haven't already Valkyrs war cry with her augment eternal war is fun to use on him also :)

Aoe nerfs are weapon based. Shouldn't affect this much at all
Nira mods where patched months ago. They do not add melee dmg anymore so no need to use them.

Why are you using the Melee Guidance aura? Wouldn't you be better off using Swift Momentum or Steel Charge?
Edit: I found the answer in Aznvasions' video about Baruuk. You have to use Melee Guidance in order to get negative combo duration on Desert Wind, so you can't build combo with it and keep the melee combo stacks you build with your regular melee weapon.

Cause if you build combo with desert wing and melee weapon together it will get gladiator mod bug and you will not be able to use gladiator buff.
Exactly why I'm a baruuk main, some idiot a few months ago that never used baruuk tried to tell me he's trash cause he's hard to obtain 💀
The only reason de is jot nerfing him cuz his grind is so annoying to the point only baruuk fans farm him 😂

Hi there, just saw your baruuk video and i gotta say your build is legit except with melee guidance you should not be building combo on your 4. The purpose of having melee guidance is to use verdilac build 12x combo multiplier then swap to your 4 and kill enemies with your shockwave. Also if you wanna use heavy attack for big damage numbers, just slot in heavy atk efficiency on verdilac not on desert wind.

Just sharing my thoughts coz i too got frustrated with baruuk's damage number back then and believe i tested soo many builds too hahaha. Also i highly anticipate a new baruuk prime build from you once the prime release tomorrow. Kudos to all your hard work tenno!

Thermal Fractures event is going on rn, not only do they give good amalgam mods but they also drop diluted thermia which can be used to spawn the exploiter orb. That spider drops rare gems worth 1k standing each a few kills of that and you should max SU and move on to VS. Or if you want passive farming just check in daily with ticker and buy as many debt bonds as you can and trade in whatever you dont need to rank up for standing

It will be hard to explain but we kill our combo not lose full combo counter on heavy attack. Idk how but it works on Baruuk
Reducing your own combo duration by 6 (-1 since base is 5 seconds) means you now have no combo.
Using a stat stick allows you to build up the 12x combo and locks that combo counter once you enter into his 4.
Perfect for infinite slapping :D
Treat it like a speed nova build. Going into negatives for you is a positive in the long run.
With the Statstick you get a x12 with 3 Gladiator mods. If you get on x2 with the exalted weapon and lose the combo you ll lose the Gladiator stacked x12. Melee guidance remove your combos on your 4 and so you Don't have to worry bout it. But you Can play without as long as you Don't hit enemies directly with your fists ( you hit Em only with the shockwaves )

About this setup idk in what condition nira modes are now, because some months ago this mode pack was broken af giving +300% damage to all exalted weapons. Anyway you can always drop em and put something else and Baruuk will one shot everything as usual
Ok I followed this build to a tea. Got the red crits, but then my multiplier just disappeared, and then for some reason comes back and I get red crits again but it’s very inconsistent, why is that?
Gladiator pack bug. If u don’t see red - heavy attack and gain combo again

is it really infinite, anytime i tried this, despite having naramon and all of combo durations mod, the combo multiplier disappears like after a couple of seconds
