I'm his biggest devotee from very young, after tuition visiting Jagannath temple & taking Aarti was a great memory, I remember in class 8, I was suffering from severe Blood Reaction, I was in a verge of Death, Doctor said it's 50-50 chance to my mom but in my hospital bed I remember lord Jagannath as usual, unaware about my health out of no where my conditions were better overnight miraculously, even the doctors were astonished. Whenever I think about lord Vishnu or lord Jagannath I get chills, tear automatically Comes into my eyes. Jay Jagannath 🙏 Jay Shree Hari Vishnu 🙏
I recently visited this temple. But unfortunately me and my family couldn't see lord jagarnath. The local explained us that lord jagarnath got fever due to which he was hidden behind curtains 😢. But one of the pandits told us that - everyone came to see jagarnath ji when he was well n fine but those who visit at his lower time are more precious to him. ❤ I think these words made our this trip happier than that if we saw him. 😊 Loved the environment there, beaches, winds etc. n all .................
omg same! qwq i also went around the same time and lord was sick and resting behind the curtains for his grand day :) im very happy i got visit him when he was sick
As a localite let me explain it to you. P.S. This will be long but enough to you to understand entire rituals of Lord Jagannath that I sure most of people don't know. 1. First of all Lord Jagannath is the human form of Lord Vishnu i.e. he lives like normal humans. During Summers just like we feel hot and take bath. Similiarly Lord also feel hot and go for a bath. So he applies chadan all over his body to cool down. This ritual is called " Chadan Yatra" 2. After Chadan Yatra he comes to Snan Mandap where he takes holy bath. During this ritual he takes " Hathi Besha" most divine form of his incarnation. 2. Due to bathing he catches cold so he goes inside "Anasar Griha" where he gets locked within room for 14 days. ( What these scientist now a days call quarantine. Our God doing this since eternal ). This is to make sure that his cold doesn't catch his beloved devotees ❤. This is the reason u were unable to visit him and take his darshan !!! 3. Since he was unable to see his devotees so after getting well from fever he arranges Rath Yatra to give darshan to his devotees and visit his Mausi Ghar to have delicious food after getting well from fever.
@@yan3157 1. Also Lord Jagannath visits his Mausi Ghar with his brothers and sisters. His Mausi Ghar is famously called " Mausima Mandir". 2. Then after he returns to his own home that is " Gundicha Mandir" his beloved wife that is "Maa Lakshmi" gets upset and angry in him as he didn't took her with him and went with his brothers and sisters .So getting Angry she denies the entry of Lord Jagannath into the temple. 3. Getting Angry Maa Lakshmi breaks the Rath of Lord Jagannath. So to convince her angry wife he offers him delicious Rasgollas and then She allows him to enter the temple. 😌💗 P.S. - Remember Odias and Bengalis often fight regarding "Rasgollas". The above is the arguments they put infront of others !!! Since Rath Yatra is an age old tradition since 11th centry. Then how come Bengal got it. 😹

You forgot one thing to add to the video. The word "JUGGERNAUT" which means unstoppable is inspired by the rath of Jangannath puri. Juggernaut is used to define anything that cannot be stopped, a true testimony of the greatness of Jagannath bagwan.

The Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, is one of the most famous and revered temples in India. It is dedicated to the Hindu deity Jagannath, a form of Vishnu. The temple is said to have been built in the 12th century, and it has been a major pilgrimage destination ever since.
The Jagannath Temple is also home to a number of unsolved mysteries. These mysteries have fascinated historians, scientists, and pilgrims for centuries. Some of the most famous unsolved mysteries of the Jagannath Temple include:
The flag on the temple's peak always blows in the opposite direction of the wind.
The temple's deities are said to grow in size every year.
The temple's kitchen is said to be able to feed thousands of people with just a few ingredients.
The temple's shadow is never seen at any time of the day.
Birds are not seen flying near the temple's peak.
There are many theories that have been proposed to explain these mysteries, but none of them have been proven. Some people believe that the mysteries are due to divine intervention, while others believe that they are simply natural phenomena that have not yet been fully understood.
The unsolved mysteries of the Jagannath Temple add to the temple's mystique and make it a truly unique and fascinating place. They also serve as a reminder that there is still much that we do not know about the world around us.
Here are some additional unsolved mysteries of the Jagannath Temple:
The sound of waves is not heard while inside the temple premises, but it is heard while returning from the temple.
The 22 stairs leading to the temple are said to have different properties. For example, the first stair is said to cure diseases, the second stair is said to increase wealth, and the third stair is said to grant wishes.
The wooden idols of the temple are said to be replaced every 12 years, but no one knows how the old idols are disposed of.
These are just a few of the unsolved mysteries of the Jagannath Temple. These mysteries continue to fascinate people from all over the world, and they may never be fully explained.

Mahaprabhu Jagannath's brother is "BALABHADRA" ବଳଭଦ୍ର the one who is known for his strength 'Bal' and not Bal-bhadra, and it's Subhadra ending आ not अ. And i don't know how far Praveen mohan is right..bt it is said that the Tulsi leaves flowers and chandan which is kept around Brahma padarth remains fresh even after 12 years.. Mahaprabhu Jagannath is real and he is सत्य..
