Jesper said in a recent interview that he's currently NOT drinking. He suffers from anxiety and depression disorders. He's getting medical help, but he's not well enough to play a lot of live shows yet. This new band is helping him to get better because there's no pressure on him to play if he's not ready for it or gets ill 5 minutes before a show.
It is my dream to attend Wacken one day. As an American I'm ashamed of my country that we don't appreciate metal the way the rest of the world does. What an incredible festival
@@Khazandar yea but were not in the 90s anymore with oldschool pa systems and crap consoles. the mix is pretty bad and "its live" is not an excuse for a terribly dialed in snare gate etc.

One of the big factors of getting me hyped for this band was the (not so much, in retrospect) promise of the return of Jesper on the live stage. The music sounds like him, it’s written all over it. The band, they want him to be there. But he is not. It’s a tragedy for us, the fans, but his band of brothers as well. I feel like Jesper knows this and might be heading towards a dark winter. Hopefully we can all celebrate his presence sooner than later. Together. The way it was supposed to be.
Took a double take at the thumbnail. Holy cow that is Mikael Stanne! Great way to discover a band. That guy has been doing death metal growls for a long time now and still sounds amazing. Those can't be good for your throat, so incredible that he's still got it.
He can do these growls without straining his vocal cords. If you listen to the last DT album, "Moment," from 2020, he does a fair bit of clean singing, and a little bit of it on this album as well, and his clean vocals sound great.

AWFUL snare sound, lol. That's legitimately the worst live snare I've ever heard from a professional band. Maybe its an audio thing though, the whole video sounds weird as hell
I am excited for Jinjer to go back to Wacken next year. I hope Wacken next time invite Slaughter to prevail and Lorna Shore to perform main stage at Wacken since these guys are deathcore sensational. Their music videos has gone viral along with the deathcore pioneer Despised icon. I would love to see these 3 on the main stage in Wacken next time. These three are my top deathcore band. Suicide silence along with white chapel should also go to Wacken main stage next time.
I think we can be sure that jinjer will play on harder or faster stage, but if some of the other bands will be invited they would rather play in bullhead city.
The chemistry is there but i am also happy they left In Flames. It is necessary to keep In Flames' music evolving. Other wise they will sound the same and generic
