    Four Hawkeyes recorded double figures to elevate the fourth-ranked Iowa women’s basketball team to a 101-85, win over Illinois on Sunday afternoon inside a sold-out Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Iowa improved to 24-4 this season and 13-3 in Big Ten play.
    All-American Caitlin Clark recorded her 16th career triple-double finishing with 24 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists. Hannah Stuelke had nearly a double-double adding 20 points and nine rebounds.
    Molly Davis shot 50% from three to score 17 points, and Kate Martin produced her 20th double digit game this season ending with 13 points, six rebounds, four rebounds, and two steals.
    Iowa came out on a 9-0 run to start the game with a 30-18 lead after the first. Clark led the quarter with nine points and Kylie Feuerbach went 2-of-2 from three. Davis recorded double digits with 10 points in the second quarter shooting 4-of-5 from the field and was perfect from three. The Hawkeyes went into halftime with a 50-34 advantage.
    In the second half, each team put up 51 points. The Hawkeyes shot 51.4% from the field and 47.4% from the arc. Iowa downed nine three pointers in the second half to tie the women’s team’s record for three-point field goals made in Carver-Hawkeye Arena with 17.
    Iowa led for the entirety of the matchup, and every available player recorded minutes in today’s matchup.
    POSTGAME NOTES
    - National Player of the Year candidate, Caitlin Clark, registered her 16th career triple-double and the fifth which is the best in the country.
    - Iowa is 16-0 all-time when Clark recorded a triple-double.
    - Clark’s all-time point total is now at 3,617, and is only trailing the AIAW all-time leading scorer, Lynette Woodard (3,647) and the NCAA men’s scoring champion, Pete Maravich (3,667).
    - Kylie Feuerbach netted a career-high three treys.
    - Since 2016-17, the Hawkeyes are 30-2 in the month of February at home.
    - UI improved to 32-2 all-time against Illinois inside CHA.
    - Hannah Stuelke has netted 10+ points in 29 career games.
    - Kate Martin has registered double figures in 20 of the last 24 contests.
    - Among active players who didn’t transfer, Marshall (119) and Martin (116) are third and fourth nationally for most active wins in a career.
    - Iowa has not dropped back-to-back games since November and December 2022.
    - It was Clark’s 60th career double-double which is good for fifth on the Big Ten’s all-time list.
    - Clark leads the country in 20+ point games this season with 28.
    - Clark is the only player in the country with 900+ points, 225+ assists, and 175+ rebounds this season.
    - Iowa has played in 18 consecutive sellouts inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena which is the longest active streak in program history.
    - Since 2008, Bluder’s teams own a 242-43 record inside of Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
    - Iowa is 39-6 in Big Ten play since Feb. 9, 2022.
    - Since the start of the 2020-21 season, Iowa leads the nation with 99 games of 80+ points.
    - Iowa also leads the country with 54 games of 90+ points offensively.
    - UI has scored 80 or more points 22 times this season.
    - The country’s best offense has record 90+ points in eight out of the last 10 games.
    - Over the last nine years, Iowa has dropped the second-fewest regular season home games in the Big Ten.
    - Clark has scored 20+ points in 113-of-128 career games which is the most in program history.
    - Clark kept her alive streak of 85 consecutive games making a 3-point basket. (NCAA best)
    - Clark is the first Division-I men’s or women’s player to record 3,600+ points, 1,000+ assists, and 850+ rebounds in a career.

      I noticed the same thing. Wasn’t all Clark. Scoring is coming from all over now. This will carry them well in the finals.

    Illinois scored 85 points against Iowa...early exit for Iowa in March.

      and what did Iowa score? Exactly.. defense isn't their game. Besides, they scored 86 on Indiana and beat them... cherry picking does nothing.

      Keep in mind your talking about Illinois and Indiana when Iowa gets in the tournament, they are going to get out scored. I mentioned 10 games ago how they don't contest shots. I hope Iowa is National Champions but it's not going to happen if they need to score 100 points to win some games.

      I agree. There ain’t enough black women players in Iowa, so they should never be ranked. Illinois has 4 black starters. They should be in top 10

    I'm wondering if Gabbie Marshall's ankle is okay. At 7:10-ish of the second quarter, her leg buckled. In the 4th, it buckled again as a defender went over her back. It could be nothing , but I'm a little concerned if I'm being honest.

      Marshall has probably been the most disappointing player this year. Her defense is much needed but the wide open looks from 3 have been off all year with a few exceptions.

    Feerbock(#4) needs more playing time, her size and shooting is what Iowa is going to need to make a deep run, Marshall is just not doing much…
