QUOTING P. SUE BECKWITH, MD, HEAD COACH LISA BLUDER
“We came in here and got better. I love 28 assists on five turnovers, four people in double figures. Caitlin becomes the all-time leading Big Ten scorer with this many games to go. I am always really proud of her.”
I'm looking forward to see what the remaining & new freshman players for Iowa can do next season. I know it would be the same as with Clark Martin & Marshall but Stuelke & McCabe & the rest of the Iowa returning should still be something to see. the women's basketball is far better then the mens & way better then the nba games & the wnba will be worth watching now. wnba & nba have been for far to long about egos & slow paced with the exception of a few ball hogs hopefully things pick up & in the college women's game hopefully they keep it entertaining & exciting not slowing it down like in the lazy pros.
Never in my life did I EVER think a women's basketball team could be a MUST WATCH sports event. But, man, these Lady Hawkeyes...!
Indeed, best sports show on the planet!
Caitlin WANNA draw: You IN!❤️
I love seeing the Iowa starters sitting on the bench reacting & cheer for the players that don't get as much time &/or most of whom will be the team next year going forward showing what they can do. Unfortunately, it's a sport that limited spots at any one time so like many times Iowa & even LSU or SOuth Carolina have great talent or potential that can't always get a chance to shine. Its awesome when they do though & its awesome when the stars react & cheer. So encouraging & start sportsmanship. You don't see that in the wnba or nba or the nfl or mlb even in blowout games. I wish considered the lead difference that some of the Northwestern bench got more time to play but I get it. It's still a game that counts & putting subs in could hurt things.
Wow! According to the description, Iowa won by over 1,000 points! That has to be a record. Congratulations Hawkeyes!
wow it only took 5 months for someone to point this out 😅.
FIXED!
Thank you!!
Why is it that so often the ref who sees shit blows the whistle (and gets it wrong)?
(because; THIS Girl...mTAKES IT LONGER❤
Caitlin is the GOAT!!!
hehehehehehehehe … let’s see her play …
The lack of depth in the Big10 is evident...
Bunch of classless fans it sounds like
how do you figure? I'm an Iowa fan & alum but this is northwestern home court do you really think it's going to be an Iowa or Clark supporting area? That being said Iowa & clark are clearly why more people are in the stands for either team. If this was Northwestern & say Michigan it probably wouldn't be as rowdy or as full. I know Iowa especially the last oh 5 years has been known for his traveling fan base it's never going to be majority at an away game. And even with Clark now gone I don't see that change anytime soon. Iowa will still do well I think even if they don't necessarily do as well.
