I remember them holding offset down until he got out & they dropped hits 8 years straight. Takeoff was always the best in the group & actually one of the better rappers today. The way he played his part & remained humble was admirable. I was just listening to lucci “keys to the street” ironically trouble & takeoff had the best verse going back & forth.

Now this is unexpected, if there was a list of rappers who were likely to die early, takeoff is on the lower end, he was never known for being at the center of some gang related controversy, this actually feels unreal.
Real talk. When I was struggling to get my life back on track after bone headed decisions. I started to listen to the migos mixtapes while taking the bus to work. Got me through. kept me modivated while standing waiting for the bus in cold winters. Went back to school revamp myself. Got a decent job. My interpretation from some of my favorite tracks were "go make something productivefrom your life" vibe. I've heard the message before off other artist, but maybe the swag or moment in time rubbed on me more. Doesn't matter. When I listen to some tracks it's not about selling drugs etc it's the struggle of life to get in a better spot. Whether your working 9-5 or raising a family etc just trying to "get on top". I'll always respect the group for that.
