Now I came to the part of the gouache. I have to say, you should trust your talent. You are a teacher. You are damn talented. No regards of the medium you use. If you can work oils you can work anything! And I should also tell this to myself more often

Princeton Neptune are my absolute FAVORITE watercolor paintbrushes! They are a must have! My second favorite for more control and very fine details is Princeton Aqua elite. These two are more affordable than other brands of similar quality, great quality, and my favorite part is that they are made of synthetic fibers that are just as good (if not better!) than real squirrel and kolinsky.

I love the Derwent Inktense pencil also! I love to decorate my sketchbooks too. Mostly stickers so far. But just bought (2023) some acrylic markers and after seeing your sketchbooks I can try decorating with my markers! ❤ fun seeing all your favorites!

The Faber-Castell Pitt Brush pens have a reversable tip, just pull it out and turn it around, and get a new fresh one!

Last comment, I promise. You do have to try Derwent drawing pencils, the colours are a bit muted to your taste maybe, but the consistency is so creamy and oily, it's like painting with pencils

@@Art_IsTherapy Derwent Drawing is the name of the product line, yes. I will second this suggestion.
Know that they're not cheap; they're the second most expensive colored pencil sold by Derwent, after Lightfast. They're muted natural colors, so don't expect a lot of vibrancy. It's a small product line, available in sets of 6, 12, or 24. If ordering directly, you can mix a set of 6 or 12 with a small discount, which comes out a little cheaper than buying one of the ready-made sets.
Even if you decide they're not for you, I'd recommend picking up the white pencil from the set. I think you'd prefer it over your Prismacolor white, and it might be a good way to see if you want to get a set.

Hi Kylie! Thank you so much 😊 💖 These supplies are so fun & multi-functional!! They can do a lot when performed in different ways. 😊 Watercolor is an absolute pleasure to work with! I always turn to it when I want to paint something but don’t want to do all the setup and clean up for oils & acrylics. The key with watercolor is water control & working in layers - light (pale) to dark (opaque, the mass tone the pigment can produce). 😊💖😊💖😊💖
Do you know that the bush tip of the Pitt markers can be taken out, turned and inserted, and you get a new tip?
