17:20 Basically dragon by falling into the shallow river (headfirst with all of his 3 heads) broke all of his 3 necks. All Maciej did was push him a bit with his "glorious" kick...
15:09 Well, he doesn't give him a straw, but a razor, because there's a Polish proverb: "a drowning man grabs at razor", meaning a person in a difficult situation accepts any help and grabs at any means to save themselves.
After watching it many years ago we are using some of the phrases in my family, like "ale nieeeeeee!" when we want to express that something different than expected happened in some story.
This is my favorite ❤piece from Ani mru Mru. I have been waiting such a long time for your reaction Rob. Glad that you enjoyed it. The peasant one is educated im acting (a mime), that's why he is playing well.
17:21 dragon killed himself Cause water in the river is Shallow and you can't jump on head to shallow water and dragon had 3 heads so 3 times less chance of surviving
In the moment when the king says "you're a great warrior" and the prasant gets upset, it's because the word "wojem" sounds quite similar to "chujem", which means "prick" 😅 so the peasant thought they are called a prick
"KRÓLOWI" zmarła rok temu druga żona, po tym już nie wrócił na scenę, to wielka strata dla polskiej estrady. Jego mimika i sposób narracji to mistrzostwo świata.

about hand and fund in polish he said renta which means pension and ręka (hand). And dragon was killed because he jumped to the shallow river on the head and dragon had 3 heads.
@18:44 Peasant said "Princes for a wife", it has 2 meanings in polish: 1 - taking princess as a wife, 2 - exchanging wife for a princess. I dont know if you undestood that during watching.
In Poland, we say that someone "skacze na główkę" - he "jumps on the head", which makes it up, that he jumps into the water ahead (typical in jumps, e.g. to the river or lake). And here the dragon was kicked up to the shallow water on his 3 heads :) and twisted the neck (or rather 3 necks). That's how he died
Rob did you watch Polish videos? I can for sure recommend Sami Swoi, one of best polish comedy ever, But also things like Killer with Cezary Pazura… and more, that one is the most famous and up to this day Poles use some text from that movie.
Polecam śledzić kabaret Ani mru mru i Hrabi oraz naszych komików stand up's.
Ah, this one is a great old classic. Back in high school I had a friend and we had a dynamic just like Marcin (myself) and Michał (my friend). As such, naturally we performed AMM's sketches for fun all the time to the amusement of our friends (of course, giving credits where credits were due). The King and the Peasant has always been our favourite so it still holds a special place in my heart!
Rob - "To take someones hand" in polish it means (of course we are talking about the intended times) that the girl's parents consented to her marriage with someone who was asking for that "hand". Her "hand". And the river was shallow so dragon jumping into it broke hise necks ( he has three heads) :)
He said that he killed the dragon by kicking it into the river and since the river is shallow the dragon hit its self so hard on the three heads that it died.
They switched that dynamic when they made a sketch about a gay dude who comes to get a tattoo. The stoic one acts crazy and the crazy one is calm in that piece.
Hi there. Rob Reacts so i would like to react too! FUND & HAND I assume that the author of the translation wanted to maintain the phonetic similarity between words "fund" and "hand"... I appreciate! However, I would like to point out that... Referring to the Polish words "renta" and "ręka", they sound very similar phonetically, Especially when you simplify "ręka", in pronunciation, to "renka" which gives us "renTa" - "renKa"... I am not an English philologist, but in my opinion "renta", in the translation of "fund", does not convey the true sense of the joke and "fund" doesn't equal "disability pension". The Polish "renta" in this sketch is more "disability pension", which in the peasant's understanding means "free" money from the state. In my opinion, in this form the joke is more precise and funnier. Let me know Rob, if my annotation changes anything in this joke for you or not at all or maybe i am totally wrong...
hello Rob! I am Polish and I have a proposition for you to watch the skits of the Smile cabaret, 1) Kabaret Smile - "Bożena Film" and 2) also Kabaret Smile - "Śniadanie" And what is important, the best one is from "XVII Mazurska Noc Kabaretowa"
I don't know, but certainly each episode of the same sketch is different from the previous one, etc. In my opinion, the one from "XVII Masurian Cabaret Night" in pol. Mazurskiej Nocy Kabaretowej- is the funniest
In case it wasn't clear from the translation, if the water is shallow, and you jump head first, you'll break your neck. Dragon had 3 necks, so he's triple dead
I dont complaining about anything, I just expressed my opinion... it's very good that you have these translators, good luck! you definitely won't find better ones!!! GOODBYE ....you are the one complaining, not me. Complaining is not my style at all, dont like people who constantly complain ....im an optimist,.. buzz off!!i will never be your friend,,,,cause its impossible to be friends with you
Cześć. You obviously gave up working on your Polish "cz" sound. There's a reason why "Cz" in "Cześć" is at the beginning, and "ć" is at the end of the word. This remark should sound friendly and all, but then again, without audio and visual, it sounds a bit hostile. Not my intention. I love your reactions. Pls, don't get me wrong.

it's a great pity that cultural and verbal dependencies can't be translated into English one to one. you would have much more fun with this comedy. for example "hurts like mf and migraine vs nap....(implicity "napierdalac") and "napadowe bole glowy or riverside and ahithole vs "za"rzecze i "za"dupie or even pension and hand vs renta and reka
You're mean, you can tell yourself you're not, but you are... in addition, you are not nice and unfriendly.....who did you show your middle fingers to? if it's for me, then ..mutually!!vice versa!
I think you missed the best joke. 11:46. The king was confused because he never saw anyone drinking water. Aristocracy drinks wine, mead etc
the dragon broke 3 necks in a shallow river 😅😁
17:20 Basically dragon by falling into the shallow river (headfirst with all of his 3 heads) broke all of his 3 necks. All Maciej did was push him a bit with his "glorious" kick...
15:09 Well, he doesn't give him a straw, but a razor, because there's a Polish proverb: "a drowning man grabs at razor", meaning a person in a difficult situation accepts any help and grabs at any means to save themselves.
And in English you clutch/grasp at straws

Same haha 😹 polish is the best
We also say "it's an exchange" :)
Me too! And many of my friends :)

Dziękujemy.
Thank you very much!
He clearly explained how he killed the dragon. The dragon broke its necks when it fell into shallow water. :)
This is not the most known version, but really really really fantastic 🤣🤣🤣
It's pretty old and I'm still use some of those lines like "ale nieeee..." (but noooo) irl 😅 it's a legendary one from ani mru mru.
17:21 dragon killed himself

Limo, Ani Mru Mru, Kabaret młodych panów. ♥

Why haven't you watched the "Hrabi" cabaret yet? This cabaret is brilliant :) Urząd skarbowy or Dziubas, or other newer skits.
Or "Types of Dancers" ;))

That's my favourite sketch!
Yay! One of my favorites ❤😂
Dragon drunk so greedly, he broke his heads on bottom of the river.

- Siarką!
I suggest watching Potem - Bajki dla potłuczonych (fairy tales for the bonkers).
you need to do more of KMN (older sketches), Try best of Halama and Hrabi
This is the first sketch od Kabaret Ani Mru Mru that I saw when I was a child.
Czesc przyjacielu, how about watching and reacting to "Świat Według Kiepskich"?
Yes! It would be great to see Rob react to that. But he'd have to find a full episode online and need good translation
Rob did you watch Polish videos?

You should see that crazy AMM guy in the music video of the Polish version of "Tribute" by Tenacious D
You need to see Kabaret LIMO - parodia zwiastuna filmowego
Yeah! Limo was a cabaret at some another level. So pitty that they don't perform any more.
Next One "Szewczyk Dratewka" please

Look at "Dratewka, the young shoemaker [Darwin's Fairy Tales]".
Dear Rob,
Try "Posterunek 13". One of the first sitcom , but still in cabaret style.
Try anti communism "Tey" cabaret "
And also polish full movie "Miś".
Then try "Chłopaki nie płaczą".
After that you will be much closer.
Regards

Next please, Ani Mru Mru - Żona
AMM is not my favourite but this one is top notch. How about Kabaret Mlodych Panow (not sure if there are any videos with english subtitles though)

Cześć!
Your Polish is better and better
Do you always make videos at 3:40 pm? your clock always show that time
In case it wasn't clear from the translation, if the water is shallow, and you jump head first, you'll break your neck. Dragon had 3 necks, so he's triple dead
You shood watch " Mała Polonia " little kabaret serial
You absolutely need to check their ventriloquist sketch.
Commenting on a sketch after the first half of the task is like reviewing a book by its cover, i.e. just plain stupid
Please mention on the next vid you figured out how the dragon died
👍👍👍👍👍
