My white coat syndrome is so bad I can't even get an accurate reading at home. The only reason my doctors think I don't really have high blood pressure is that it dips a lot if they take it a second time, although it's still a bit high, and that it's been normal with doctors/nurses who have reassured me, joked about a bit, and if they use a stethoscope it's normal. My other theory is the machine cuffs always hurt, where taken manually it doesn't.
@@ericamacs3875 I agree with those cups literally feels like my arm is about to pop off. I expressed my feelings about different cup sizes should be a choice because of different arm width and sizes. I was told that the pressure cup size doesn't matter.....NOT TRUE BY ANY MEANS ‼️‼️‼️ MY auntie is about 125 pounds and her arm 💪🏾 is a little bit bigger than my wrist and MY ARM needs a XL or maybe thigh cup 🤔. HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ON HIGH OR LOW BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS BECAUSE OF THE WRONG CUP SIZE 😡
Also you can stimulate pressure points on your hand, wrist, and neck; such as the Vagus nerve point below your jaw and ear. Doing these pressure points I’ve lowered my BP 10-20 mmHg in 2 minutes; which amazed the nurse in the emergency room.
Great video, my boyf has his BP review tomoz, he's getting excellent low numbers this week, but he suffers massive white coat syndrome, it'll be high when they do it.
When you talk about the deep breathing, the two breaths you demonstrate seem to be pretty close together. When I scrolled back and literally followed along, I realized that I would hyperventilate if I followed that pace. For me, I have to pause a lot longer between breaths. Is there something wrong with me😆 or is it possible your demonstration is a little quick because you're just trying to do a short video? I hate that I have such bad health anxiety. 🤦🏻♀️ It often seems like I have fewer breaths per minute than others and it's not like I'm in super great shape. Is it normal to be a little different like that?
Having my blood pressure taken at the doctor’s office gives me a normal, accurate reading of my blood pressure when I’m under extreme stress.
That's great. I used to be like that when I was a lot younger. 110/70 whether I was chill or having bad anxiety. Now that I'm older... not so much.
THANK YOU 😎
Thanks for sharing. I will do these strategies daily.
Thanks for the info. I go in to the Doctor tomorrow. 😊
Good morning Adam happy Sunday.thanks

@@Ystrother1802 agreed! I think it's the cuff size but also if there is a person listening, they can stop filling it much earlier so it doesn't hurt.
I watch this every single time you show this Thnx Adam💪👍✌️👌
This is very true. Thanks much.
Don't forget to empty bladder first 👌
I have White Coat Syndrome, thanks for the tips!
Another great video Doc 👍
If I keep clenching my wrists and breathe like that in the doctor's waiting room I'm concerned they will call the psych Ward?
Great info
Thank you 😊
