It's amazing to watch this young Samoan girl Parris from New Zealand and all her other young Polynesian / Pacific Islander & pakeha dancing to hip hop and killing it. One thing they can deny is our island kids got rhythm and can get down dancing. I'm always hearing about how there aren't any blacks or Latinos in the videos but why should that matter? My people, our Polynesian people have been singing and dancing for thousands of years and this is just an extension of that among NZs young people dancing and performing to whatever and however they feel inspired to. Man the routine out performed the song by light years. I wish I had been so inspired in my youth to achieve the skill and talent that you guys have. This is outstanding and very entertaining.
Just took her class last night. SHES amazing. she explains choreography so well and is a huge inspiration. had her tag her name on a sign too. was her first time using spraypaint; felt so amazing. im glad i drove 4 hours to the class because it was well worth. her lecture before/after the class was something i'll never forget.
