      So, I made the bottom part successfully (the green part), but I'm struggling with the flower. For starters, my yellow centre turned out flat, not dome shaped like yours. I did 7 scs in row 1, 14 in row 2, and then 28 in rows 3 and 4. For the petals, is it 3 chs, 3 dcs, 3 chains and 1ss in one stitch, then another as in the following stitch. Repeat this 8 times? If yes, then 2 stitches x 8 times would be 16 stitches. What happens to the remaining 12 stitches from the 28 of the previous row? Or have i totally misunderstood your instructions?😢 Thanks for your help.

      @venturesbyyolanda for round 3 and 4 you’ll work a total of 28 sts (no sl st to join) so you only work 1 sc in each stitch. This should help make it more of a dome. If it still doesn’t, run your yarn tail under those stitches at the end and tighten.
      Then, you’ll (ch 3, 3 tr, ch 3) in the same st, and then sl st in the next 2 sts. Repeat - ch 3, 3 tr where you last slip stitched etc.
      Hope this helps! 😄

I saw her doing your froggy pockets on her channel today and asked where I could find the pattern. You have several things I will be making asap!❤❤❤🎉)

      In case you're struggling with yarn tension, I can show you how my mom does crochet, it might be easier! I do a slight version of hers, but hers is simpler.

    • @OhMeOhMyCrochet

      You are right - 8 petals is an error, there should only be 7!

    I'm confused about the top of the flower. After doing the 2 rounds of 7. Then you say to do 14 sc for the next 2 rows to make 28 sts.... But like. Do you do 2sc in each sc on those next 2 rows or.... I'm confused. That was such an odd way of wording that part that I just don't understand

      Missed this comment, sorry! Apologies for the confusing wording - for rounds 3 and 4, work 1 sc in each stitch around for a total of 28 sts. It’s a continuous round instead of joining with a sl st after 14 sts.

      @@OhMeOhMyCrochet okay so you just work 28 stitches and then move on to the next step?

    Hi I've tried this video and many others and I can't get the centre's flower to be a dome. It just goes upwards and closes I'm unsure of what I'm doing wrong

    • @abbyblackburn6326
      @abbyblackburn6326 5 месяцев назад

      When you finish the pedals did you run your tail through all the way around and tug a little. That helps form the dome

    • @charlenebold1837
      @charlenebold1837 Месяц назад

      Took me a couple tries but realized that round 3 is 14 sc around and round 4 is 14 sc around for a total of 28 , making a dome shape.

      It might help to mark the first stitch of each round and count your stitches to make sure that you do not increase the number of stitches
