When I first discovered Sistar it was in 2011, at that time they were not very known and appreciated among the masses because of their sexier, more “provocative” concept. Criticized for being talentless, too sexy etc. But they were the group that made me fall in love with kpop and they were to me the best. I’ve always kept supporting them even if people were talking shit about them. I’ve always trusted them and had hope and confidence they would one day be successful and loved by the general public... and guess what? They have become fucking legends, even though they have disbanded now. However they are still making an impact on so many people, they are still remembered as the summer and sexy queens, they are appreciated by all, and won many amazing awards! I’m so proud of their career and proud they never changed for the haters back then. Sistar means confidence, authenticity and fun. They now bring such good memories to people which is incredible.
