My one and only son turned 37 today and I had him at 15, his wife has turned him. I’m blocked but I still wished him a Happy Birthday twice today. I have finally gave him back to God.

It's always just as hard as the day she passed, Nov 18, 2004. My health is failing & my daughter is lost from God & me (I was that "other" mother too. I w "was", praise the Lord). I'm in a bad way in every area of my life. Ministry & other issues require it. But I'm tired & need my family, my daughter. Praying God restores Crystal to Himself and to me, as new creations, before It's my turn to return Home, to our Fathers house. With a, longing, heavy, weary & worn heart, Any & All prayers for my family's healing and restoration are so needed & welcome. (Thank you). Shame to admit, I fear dying alone.

when I accepted the Lord, I held off telling my Hindu parents the truth for about 4 months. I didn't want to disappoint them, but my choice was made. I would rather disappoint them than disappoint my Lord. I heard the worst things a parent would say to their kid. "you might as well throw yourself under a bus..." and I broke down. I was annihilated by the reaction of the people I loved the most. At that moment in my darkness, I opened my bible and it landed on Psalm 27. "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me in". After reading it I simply cried myself dry. I could not believe hoe my Lord loved me so much. He never left me and I had his embrace in my worst pain. I have only love for my parents. And after years of negativity from them, they are now slowly coming back in my life. I just want to say that I am loved. I am loved by you Lord! I am so loved that you gave me the most wonderful gift of a loving wife and beautiful kids. My life will always be for Jesus and to Jesus! Thank you, Lord!
Last summer I went through a hurtful life changing time. My wonderful son in law, without speaking to my daughter first, came to me and said “I want you to know you always have a home with us. I want you to come live with us and I know Jamie will agree, plus our sweet boy needs his Na Na.” The day I moved in he met me in the driveway with a huge hug and said, “Welcome home.” My heart is so full of love for him, my beautiful daughter and my sweet grandson Ezra. The Lord has blessed me beyond measure. I have a wonderful Mother as well. Her faith and prayer have brought me through the dark. Thank you Lord for the many blessings you have given me.

A mother is precious. When siblings do not step up God has a way of raising you up. You will have strength and peace that only God can give. I quit work to take care of my mother. My mother was in a bad accident when I was young and satin tried to take her out. But God sent her back home to her children. I am the fourth child and yes the journey may not be easy but God will,can and have supplied my every need. FOR EVERYONE WHO IS TAKING CARE OF A parent. God chose you. To be chosen by God is a blessing in it self.

Lord I miss my mom, it's been a year since she died in my home, I cared for her for two years before she died when she stayed with my younger sister. My mom had her last stroke and went to hospital and my sister refused to let her return to her home, although I myself have health issues I took my mom in and continued to care for her til she was called home . Found out my sister had spent every last penny she had did not even pay to have her buried, but God made a way and my daughter and I got it done. I was not the favorite me and my mom had battles but Lord knows I would give anything to battle with her one more time. I love you mom RIP

You only get 1 mother and father. Give them their roses while they are alive to smell them. For one day, you too will be in their shoes.

when I accepted the Lord, I held off telling my Hindu parents the truth for about 4 months. I didn't want to disappoint them, but my choice was made. I would rather disappoint them than disappoint my Lord. I heard the worst things a parent would say to their kid. "you might as well throw yourself under a bus..." and I broke down. I was annihilated by the reaction of the people I loved the most. At that moment in my darkness, I opened my bible and it landed on Psalm 27. "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me in". After reading it I simply cried myself dry. I could not believe hoe my Lord loved me so much. He never left me and I had his embrace in my worst pain. I have only love for my parents. And after years of negativity from them, they are now slowly coming back in my life. I just want to say that I am loved. I am loved by you Lord! I am so loved that you gave me the most wonderful gift of a loving wife and beautiful kids. My life will always be for Jesus and to Jesus! Thank you, Lord!
Last summer I went through a hurtful life changing time. My wonderful son in law, without speaking to my daughter first, came to me and said “I want you to know you always have a home with us. I want you to come live with us and I know Jamie will agree, plus our sweet boy needs his Na Na.” The day I moved in he met me in the driveway with a huge hug and said, “Welcome home.” My heart is so full of love for him, my beautiful daughter and my sweet grandson Ezra. The Lord has blessed me beyond measure. I have a wonderful Mother as well. Her faith and prayer have brought me through the dark. Thank you Lord for the many blessings you have given me.

My mother was in a bad accident when I was young and satin tried to take her out. But God sent her back home to her children. I am the fourth child and yes the journey may not be easy but God will,can and have supplied my every need. FOR EVERYONE WHO IS TAKING CARE OF A parent. God chose you. Lord I miss my mom, it's been a year since she died in my home, I cared for her for two years before she died when she stayed with my younger sister. My mom had her last stroke and went to hospital and my sister refused to let her return to her home, although I myself have health issues I took my mom in and continued to care for her til she was called home . Found out my sister had spent every last penny she had did not even pay to have her buried, but God made a way and my daughter and I got it done. I was not the favorite me and my mom had battles but Lord knows I would give anything to battle with her one more time. I love you mom RIP
Every time I see this, My God. It strengthens me, I am the oldest of four. My siblings have left me to take care of our mother, I always said I would. But I never knew I would have to do it alone, I struggle, I get angry, God knows I love my mother. But the others were her favorite, after all these years I can’t believe how the tide has turned. She is not easy to take care of, every time she gives me problems I think I am not her first or second choice, but I am here. And will be until the bitter end. Pray for me

I pray they come and help at some point while your mother can still smell her flowers. Even though you think back to not being the "favorite" and then say why, put it all behind you and move forward. You taking care of your mother in the crucial part of her life, is exactly what will give you the strength and blessings for yours. It may not seem like it right now, but God is with you through it all, and your spirit and soul will be at peace, many, many years from now, knowing that you took care of your mother the way she took care of you. I remember this being my all-time favorite song as a kid. My mother never let us listen to rap growing up. I'm her youngest and have watched my mother suffer so much so that it's taken a toll on my health. I never dreamed that one day I would have to take care of my mother, father and stepdad all by myself especially seeing as how they did/do so much for my other siblings and their kids. For those of you reading this and feel as if you're so tired and are ready to throw in the towel and put your parent (s) away in a nursing home, I too have been in your shoes. I have walked away from job opportunities, relationships and have even wondered what my life would have been like if I had/have that "freedom," but 2000 years ago, there was a man who walked the streets healing the sick and raising the dead that promised me a room in his father's mansion. You only get 1 mother and father. Give them their roses while they are alive to smell them. For one day, you too will be in their shoes.

Don't give up on your children even the ones who seem " no good" cause God is working in their lives and Don't drive your mother away especially ones who have loved you and prayed for you. My mother has passed and I can't even begin to explain the lost I feel without her in my life.
