Great ideas, have to watch a second time cause it's no use trying to rely on my memory because that doesn't work all that great and I should have written a few ideas down. Not long ago I finally bought a pair of those knipex bolt cutters and tried not to cry over the price as I hit the 'order now' button. I'm a retired Carpenter and that is the most expensive pair of tiny pliers I've ever bought in my life. After seeing your Genius idea on how to cut larger bolts using the inside of the cutters I had to try it out. However I was up to 1am, repacking for the last time, my emergency 'get the hell outta town' bag, which I swore I'd not touch again. Guess where those cutters are. I got the same vice grips with a multitool and flask. I might switch out the listerine for some multi-purpose alcohol, ha. OK now back to unpacking and then repacking.
There are links to all the items in the description below the video, if that helps.
It's a lot to take in, I agree, but I wanted to have one complete coverall video of my most useful items. It was also so very hard for me to pull the trigger on those knipex, but for their size they are the best at what they do. And personally, I'd rather have vodka on me than listerine. ;-)
nobody ever has good tools (like your kit) , just snare wire and fish hooks... plus your medkit is made for serious shit not just booboos and headaches. glad to see someone whos got a good idea on what u really need. good kit mate. 👍
I think your awesome with a great attitude. Very refreshing.
Glad you enjoyed 18 Wheeler! And thank you for keeping America moving!
@@PrepperRuss I’m not a trucker that was my nickname when I was in the Army.
Then in that case, thank you for your service! My nickname was Short Bus Russ. :-(
@@PrepperRuss LOL
@@PrepperRuss Thank you for your service brother. Be safe and stay ready; because our oath never dies.
Great kit, Thanks.
Thanks for watching. Was there anything in it you really liked?
@@PrepperRuss Head lamp, and that you carried burn cream.
@@quercus4730 i do love that headlamp. i have 4 of them around the house.
That was great Russ! I have watched a lot of EDC bag videos and none had this much useful stuff in a smaller bag! Very impressed, keep it up, we will be waiting for more videos!
I'm glad you enjoyed! I really appreciate your feedback. I'm in the middle of working on a Car EDC video, so I hope you get a notification when it goes live. Cheers!
I want to say thank you for making this video it made me laugh. It is nice to see some practical information with a sense of humor well done sir.
Thanks Glen, glad you enjoyed it!
Nice kit...you have a new subscriber bruv...look forward to seeing more from you cheers, Jerbs.
This was entertaining and informative. I actually learned a few new things. 😊
Glad you enjoyed!
I'm amazed that you can fit so many practical items in such a small bag. You have a lot of things that I never would have thought of. Excellent video.
Thanks, Marcus! You wouldnt believe how many LARGER items I bought before I figured out I needed to buy SMALLER versions to fit in the bag.
Writing down the phone numbers is the best idea I have seen in years !
I have to admit. Theres a lot of items in there. I notice a few things everyone else hasnt packed. "Everyday items for someone needed for personal condotions i.e. diabetes and nicotine needs" pepper gel instead of spray is a great idea. Baking soda is a nice addition i will be adding to mine as well as a back up nicotine delivery system. Finally an altoids tin with ALTOIDS in it hehehe. Great job and found myself laughing sometimes due to your awesomesome attitude instead of needless crap i see in other videos. GREAT JOB!!
thanks for the lovely comments! you had me laughing about the altoids. never thought about it that way. :-)
id throw in a small spray bottle of eye glass cleaning spray and if you wanted a small foldable solar panel (14W) for your rechargeables and for about 20 bucks on eBay and only weighs maybe half a pound its above and beyond it's weight in gold
Impressive! Totally make sense👍
LOL you’re right ... the heavy gear usually stays behind
Right? This little guy goes everywhere with me now!
Very informative! Thanks
In my bottle kit mini ghb I have only an Israeli bandage good for large wounds and it can be used as a tourniquet
Very impressive lol I am trying to build a smaller kit as well. Thanks for sharing! Subbed
Please share a link to your smaller kit video, would love to see it!
Just a couple of points re first aid: the nasopharyngeal airway or “nose trumpet” won’t do anything if the throat is crushed. It is an aid to keeping an airway open but it will not protect it. And I don’t know what the recommended dose for aspirin is in the US but in the U.K. it’s 300mg for a suspected MI. Preferable to get chewable flavoured ones as chewing normal aspirin tastes bad.
thanks for the helpful comments! i agree with you on the nose trumpet and always remind viewers to watch other youtube vids on using any medical devices. in the States 325mg is common dossage for asprin. flavored is a nice suggestion.
Can i get a link or make and model of the radio?

Great vid

@@PrepperRuss no, just look like him 😁
What kind of bag is that? What is name on the radio?

Amazon changed their policy so I can no longer link to their items till I have over 500 subscribers. :-(

Great, no nonsense survival kit. Again a lot different than most people's survival kits. This kit probably cost you as much as the bead on one of my friend's knives (spoiler alert - $300) or much less. All them edc fidget toys and knives with lanyard beads and damascus blades that cost a fortune look cool but aren't going to save your life. I'd rather spend my money on something like this than just a knife.
Have a similar bag only 17 lbs with food and water
What is the bag
some off brand thing. i usually dont buy expensive name brand stuff if i can find affordable alternatives
LOL “2 modes, on and super on”
