Close radio controlled motorbike racing action from the Aldershot MCC track. These bikes are not easy to control. The centrifugal force from the wheels keeps them upright. The stabilisers are mainly used to allow the driver to get them back up again should they come off the track. A unique driving style is needed to get these bikes around the track and some of the close racing in this video takes experience, skill and quick reactions.
Filmed by Dom Mitchell at the Aldershot MCC track using the Panasonic AG-UX180 Pro 4K camcorder.

Just goes to show that the most impressive and beautiful thing about moto is the human interaction with the bike and the way they ride them.

Has anyone ever built a scale real world race track yet? I would be dope to watch small bikes on a scaled Mugello or any other real track.

More a physics gyro-type question...could they do it without the outriggers? (I'm a fan of white knuckle racing)....
It's possible but impractical when racing. If you overdo the lean, the fairings touch the ground and lifts the tires, then off you go ito the grass losing valuable time. You can check out the Hong kong guys, running the smaller Kyosho HOR bikes without "scratch bars"

Hi to be honest I have always fancied getting involved in rc cars bikes or plane's /helicopters but I have struggled to find any local clubs in mid Wales so if anyone knows of any clubs close to Llandrindod Wells could you possibly point me in the right direction thanks

Wrong. RC-bikes are among the least expensive rc racing classes. I speak from experience.
Tech not there yet...make nice harley or indian..vintage bikes since the speed of these would better fit cruisers ...

If you click on the link in the video description there is a RC bike that would be suitable for that. I only know of RC track events like this. Not see off road racing. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

Yes, this track is actually not that big. On a fast track we go 85-100 km/h

Yup, much better grip with warmed up tyres apparently.
a tire is a tire, cold tires don't grip as well
We use tirewarmers to get the tires to working temperature right off the starting line. The heats are just 10 minutes long so you want to be able to trust your grip from the start. While running, the tires gets/stay warm by being worked.

Oh, yes they can! If there's grip and space enough the pilot can pull wheelies. Bad move when racing though, often ends in acrash..

Someone said counter steering but the dont change the fact the bike still shifts its weight

@@codytodd6478 Countersteer is correct.
This is done initiating the turn. When leaning over, the pilot is letting off the steering impulse, so the bike turns. Corrections mid turn can be done by throttle, break and additional steering input.
