It's very sad. I used to be an aerobics Instructor at what was once called Bally's also called Chicago Health Club (CHC). That was so many years ago. I was somewhere in my mid twenties now in my 50s. This was a place for young upcoming professionals or at least for those wanted to be around there. I also used to also go to the movie theaters in the mall. This was the place to hang out and meet friends.

I hate seeing this. I'm glad that you made this and shared it, but it makes me sad to see this place so empty. I don't think I've been inside since maybe 2010, but I went there a lot in the 15 or 20 years before that, partly for the movies, partly for the gym, and I guess that's about it. But there was a Borders across the street and a couple of restaurants nearby that I like, especially emerald City, which is owned by a Syrian family.
