I wasn’t alive for the original release of RE2, but I started playing the remake a few days ago. This is by far my favorite track, it perfectly captures the feeling of that unsure safety you feel. You’re not sure what’s ahead, you’re rattled from the events of the past 20 minutes or so, but for now you’re safe. It’s peaceful.

I wished the same thing to, go back in time when I was a child as well playing these games that brought meaning to life, however the times we are in now are even better than before because we have awesome memories to look back on and new ones to make just as awesome as the past, our future can be the new past for us. One of the greatest games ever made..every room was like a journey into the future and the past, delightfully new and packed with detail you wanted to look at..the code on the whiteboard was SUCH a TOUCH! A men and women work together to overcome evil! A masterwork. :D
My favorite part about this amazing song and sound combo is that I’m literally being put to sleep by a Resident Evil game! The devs did such an amazing job giving this terrifying and unknown police station a sense of comfort and security that can only be found inside a safe room. Amazing work!
The music captures the sense of an uncertain safety. Is the Police Station actually a safe haven or is it full of zombies..? Only one way to find out.. Excellent work.
Along with the resident evil 1 remake save room music this is an instant transportation to late 90s and the holden age of survival horror . You will never play games with these quality of storylines and gameplay ever again.
I have a fantastic 3d audio suround setup and this plays fantastic i can hear the rain from the back speakers sometimes moving to the front and the piano is playing from the middle

@@retrogamesoundwaves3977 I think it might have been that, been a while as my pc overheats lol. But Because the lickers sometimes on ceiling I think it confuses the game. The most funny mod I seen though is the 500%facial animations lol, shame we can't get that mod.

Imagine your first day on the force, zombies everwhere, the refuge you think is this museum of a station, but its adorned with puzzles and makeshift medic beds and as you dwell deeper you find 6 shotguns shells in a locker. Aha!.. Entering the station gave you a second of peace and tranquility. Escape from the city carnage. To see the beutiful monuments scattering its beauty, the ambiance and the 90s feel, the rain and music, all highlighting what it means to be a alive. Just Wow!

For all intents and purposes it wasn't a warzone but a nightmare unraveling. For the time being, I'm safe but my HAM radio picks up military distress signals at times. The debate on whether this place is gonna be blown to hell in a matter of hours is over the airwaves. There is a military blockade south of the parks woods blocking off I-95 and the entrance to Racoons city successfully. My apartment building is a pretty far walk from there. My mind was made up, I had to try and escape this city. Trusty Colt Python at my side and a bandolier full of ammo I set out into the night through the fire escape on the side of the building and began my escape from the city."

The rainstorm is a newer and nice touch to the theme because of the fact that it rains a lot in the Remake, whereas it doesn't in the original RE2.
Playing Remake2 with the classic soundtrack is the only right way to play.

This game didn't get your attention or raise the bar yet it did put you in the mood to finish the damn thing.
