I’m 13 and I just started a 4 by 4 garden this year. My mom let me have a little piece of yard where I put the garden. She is so surprised by how well it is doing. Thank you guys so much!!!
This is the hardest time, when the heat, bugs, and other pests come along, but don’t get discouraged! Gardening is awesome! It’s a struggle, but it’s rewarding!
Omgosh such a good video 😂😂 When Supani was ripping out those basil plants and Kevin was just internally taking the hits, I was laughing Sooo hard 😂 we need more garden to table videos from yall ❤
Hint on regrowing the pineapple. Don't cut off the top. Grasp all the leaves in one hand, the pineapple in the other, and just twist off the leaves. The leaves will come off with just enough base to grow, without the ring of fruit that will just rot. You can also cut those leaves in quarters, top to bottom, and grow 4 (smaller) pineapples.
I'm Thai and have been a fan of your channel for few years now. This collab is like a gift!! All the foods look so tasty! So glad you guys like Thai foods :D Supannee is such a character! lol ps. the knife sharpening on every surfaces just got me! such a Thai thing :P
Supannee. Absolutely. RULES. You guys are a total dream team, and the extra comedy was hilarious. And, of course, the editing was SPOT ON. Side note: All I could hear, while watching her absolutely PWN the garden and kitchen, was Flight of the Bumblebee. 😂
I really love this! I grew up watching my parents garden in a communal plot, growing Chinese vegetables from seeds my relatives would send them, way before e-commerce was a thing. And that pride of being able to grow food that was hard for them to find here made a lasting impact on me and fueled a lifelong love of gardening. Please host a whole chef series!! This was so much fun to watch.
this episode was especially entertaining lol. I love Kevin's face when she ripped the basil over and over and when she grabbed the only peach hahah. as a fellow gardener, I know exactly how he feels. using the peach for a team gathering is worth it tho haha
What a treat. Good stuff epic team... the editing as she's picking in the garden lol. I had one of my first "mostly" garden grown dinners made last night. There is just something so special about that.
Omg so exciting to see you bring someone in to show you some recipes and use garden fresh ingreidents! This is something I've been hoping you'd do! Yayyyyy. And it all looks incredible wow.
This was such a fun video! I love how excited Supani was to gather so many fresh ingredients from your garden! Don’t worry, the lemon basil will grow back, and there will be more peaches next year! lol! If Supani doesn’t have a RUclips channel, she needs one! I would love to see her more often! I would also enjoy seeing someone prepare Filipino dishes! Or Bulgarian! This could snowball into another RUclips channel! (As if you weren’t already busy enough!)
Oh my gosh I love this!! The food all looks amazing and Supannee is an absolute riot! She literally could not be more genuine! I can only imagine what a great meal that was! So happy for the whole Epic Team!
Supanee was havin a ball in your garden! I would too. Theres a Filipino way of prepping pineapple. 😊 im glad to have seen this video. I wish i have flowetscin my garden. Never fid i get to grow them. Seeds i bought never germinated. Or ransacked by rats before it grew past seedling stage. Potted ones i bought never grew flowers past its season too.
Would love to see something like this with Filipino food. We lived in Hawaii for several years and had Filipino colleagues/friends who taught us how to make a few different dishes like adobo, pancit and lumpia. I made and fried about 200 lumpia at my best friend's wedding reception and didn't get to eat a single one, they got scooped up so fast. There is nothing better that picking your dinner from your garden - so delicious and satisfying.
A lot of times I don't have good recipes in my back pocket for the things I grow or I only know of one way to cook something and get bored of it, especially when I'm pulling a lot of something out of the garden. I would love a regular series of what to make and how to make it.
Really fantastic video. Garden to table. You inspire gardeners to use their produce with a great comical cook. Your generosity towards your team is never unnoticed. I think you're a great team leader. Jacques might like to eat but I think he was more for the learning from Supanni on this one.
This was fantastic! I agree with other commenters that this could be a whole series, whether it be with Supannee or various chefs! I love that almost everything used was from the garden and that the whole feast was vegetarian and/or vegan! This was great inspiration as to what we can do with what we grow, thank you! :)
This episode filled my heart with joy! You all were having so much fun, which makes all the hard work you have to put in so, so worth it, I'm sure. Great vid, thank you for sharing!
Kevin and Jacque! This was the best Epic Homesteading Video! I hope it gets a shit ton of views. This was fantastic and Supannee was amazing! Thank you!
Love love love this video. Her personality is amazing and the two of your reactions were priceless. I felt like I was watching my auntie cooking for her niece and nephews!
Absolutely loved this and would love to see it again with different kinds of cuisines. It really made me think about how I can use my garden produce to make different flavors than the same ol'
Thanks for uploading good timing I haven't cooked in a while I always used to watch your videos while I was doing so ❤ making some spicy biryani so just started watching 😊yay
This was a great theme for the video. You will definitely survive the Thaipocalypse challenge, but I am not sure about that Basil though. I had two goals for this year: 1. Plant California natives 2. Plant Ingredients for Thai cooking So far so good on both fronts. Still got a long way to go, but I am looking forward to the progression over time.
thank you so much alll your videos are both really helpful and entertaining, because of you you've kept me up with the garden and stopped me fro mgivving up and its shown results you showed me that failure is a key to success. Keep up the good work!!
Hello! I like this casual video format. It made me feel like Im there with ya'll. That potato leave one behind thing is definitely Filipino. LOL. I love you guys!
Sorry about the taste test at the end - we lost the footage! There was NOTHING left at the end though...so good. - Kevin
It all looks so delicious!!
Any chance we could get those recipies??
Those rolls are so beautiful ❤
Maybe a Filipino cooking party next time 😊
What happens in Kevin's kitchen, STAYS in Kevin's kitchen. Well a little bit of it ends up around the waist area, but that's to be expected.
Would love to get a hold of the recipes! Especially the curry 😊

It only gets easier from your first year promise!
That’s so exciting! Happy growing!
That's great!!!! I love seeing young people getting into gardening and homesteading. Keep up the great work
She needs to be a regular on the channel shes hilarious 😂
hahaha Kevin's face when she's ripping the basil branches
rofl and Jacques face too when he looked at kev, he knew
Loved the look on Kevin and Jacques face when the basil was getting ripped!!!😂 loved watching this video. Thanks for sharing!
The pain...
@@epichomesteading it'll bush from those points....right? :)
That's me when someone comes in and messes up something I very carefully worked on... LOL
I think we may have just found the third host of epic gardening we never knew we needed
Hahahaha
Agreed!!! Loved this episode :)
This needs to be a regular series. Chef makes a meal out of what's growing in your yard.
I really like this idea!
@@jelatinosaMe too!
The lady chef is a legend. Hope she can appear in more videos please.
I love watching a chef "grocery shopping" at your garden. What a dream for them and it's fun to watch what they can do with the produce.
Kevin may think he runs the garden, but Supannee is the true boss around these parts.
Accurate.
I love how Supannee is just raiding the garden and eating it too.🤣 She is too funny! Everything she made looks delicious. Happy Eating!
Oh my God, I've been waiting to watch this and it was truly a great video. She had me cracking up lol.
the way she just took the knife from you when cutting the pineapple 😂 you were politely scolded for dull knives!
mom energy
Omgosh such a good video 😂😂 When Supani was ripping out those basil plants and Kevin was just internally taking the hits, I was laughing Sooo hard 😂 we need more garden to table videos from yall ❤
I used to live around the corner from Supannee House of Thai. It's a delight to learn she's as wonderful as the food she makes. 😃
Supannee is awesome. We need to see more of her 💚
The pure joy watching this is priceless
It's like she's shopping without a list.
Gardening and cooking coming together is probably the most blessed phenomenon on earth.

Good call!
Yep, that's how I do it
This video is such a delight! It is so funny how Kevin looks at Supanee while harvesting the basil HAHAHAH
I'm Thai and have been a fan of your channel for few years now. This collab is like a gift!!

Well, even if the video went long it was fun watching Supani “raid” your garden.😂❤
This episode is amazing. I didn't stop smiling the entire video. She is great!
Same! I had so much fun watching all of them!🤣🖤
Please more "behind the scenes " and cooking vids. What about a tour of the seed warehousr?
this episode was especially entertaining lol. I love Kevin's face when she ripped the basil over and over and when she grabbed the only peach hahah. as a fellow gardener, I know exactly how he feels. using the peach for a team gathering is worth it tho haha

OMG ❤ I already love Sopani ♥️ her excitement over your garden and harvest! Back to watching😊
Omg so exciting to see you bring someone in to show you some recipes and use garden fresh ingreidents! This is something I've been hoping you'd do! Yayyyyy. And it all looks incredible wow.
There's nothing better than good food with friends! Such beautiful food! But my favorite part was watching Supanee shop the garden.

What a fun video! I adore her and how excited she was walking through your garden. This has been my absolute favorite video so far.
I rarely rewatch videos, however I had to rewatch this one. I have to agree, I’d love to see Supannee as a regular. What a hoot. 🥰🤩

My husband & I were so happy to see Supannee in your video! We love her restaurant. The food is amazing and she's such a sweet lady too.
I love seeing food made using garden veggies and simple tools. You don’t have to have a lot of expensive equipment to eat well!
those flower egg spring rolls are an absolute show stopper.
Thank you SO much for doing this video! So many of us grow so much but don't know what to do with it. We love Thai cuisine. Brilliant!

Okay she is funny, make her a regular!
Kevin’s face during the basil harvest has me dying 😂 and little jab about her flowers being bigger lol
Never let an Asian in your garden, you will get ripped off badly😂
